Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 : Beneath the Surface

*Love Behind the Kremlin Walls*

Sasha's heart was racing as she stood frozen in the shadows, the KGB agent's words echoing in her mind. Jack's hand was still holding hers, a reassuring presence, but she knew that it was only a matter of time before the KGB made their move.

The agent, a tall, imposing figure with cold, calculating eyes, took a step closer. "Sasha, we need to talk," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Jack's grip on her hand tightened, and he stepped forward, his eyes locked on the agent's. "I don't think that's necessary," he said, his voice firm.

The agent's eyes flicked to Jack, and a small smile played on his lips. "Ah, the American," he said, his voice dripping with disdain. "I think you'll find that this is none of your concern."

Sasha felt a surge of fear, but she knew that she had to stay calm. She took a deep breath and stepped forward, her eyes locked on the agent's. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice steady.

The agent's smile grew wider, and he pulled out a small folder from his coat pocket. "I think you'll find this interesting," he said, handing her the folder.

Sasha took it, her hands shaking slightly as she opened it. Inside, she found a series of photographs, each one showing her and Jack together, in intimate moments. Her heart sank as she realized that the KGB had been watching them all along.

The agent's voice was like a cold wind's whisper as he spoke. "You're coming with us, Sasha. And if you try to resist, we'll make sure that Jack here... disappears."

Sasha felt a cold dread creeping up her spine. She knew that she had to protect Jack, no matter what it took.

"Okay," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll go with you. Just leave Jack alone."

The agent's smile grew wider, and he nodded. "Good choice, Sasha. Let's go."

As the agent led her away, Jack's eyes locked on hers, a mixture of fear and determination in his gaze. Sasha knew that she had to be strong, for both of them.

But as she was dragged away, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was walking into a trap, one that would change her life forever.

The KGB's grip was tightening, and Sasha was running out of options.

As she was led through the winding streets of Berlin, Sasha's mind was racing. She knew that she had to come up with a plan, and fast. But for now, she had to play along, and hope that she could find a way to escape.

The agent's voice was like a cold wind, whispering in her ear. "You're going to do exactly as I say, Sasha. And if you don't... well, let's just say that you won't like the consequences."

Sasha's heart was racing, but she knew that she had to stay calm. She was a Petrov, and she would not be intimidated.

But as she was led into the darkness, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was walking into the unknown, with no way out.
