On the other side, on the very far distance, there was a locked titanium steel door that didn't have even a handle nor a door knob, but not all was bad. Though the door looked old and pretty banged up, someone who was outside could see what was locked inside the room because of the bars that made it possible to see through.
Though the bars were there and may have made things easier for one to see who they were coming to see, it was really hard to see through the walls inside the room. Sure, if someone looked in closely, they would see something or someone chained, but within a second that person would have to seem like they disappeared or blur, cause of the walls affect in one's eyes.
There were guards walking around, the total number was maybe four, because even outside the room, since it looked like it was a cave, when one guard on each side walked to the end of the cave, a new guard totally different would appear.
They all had some kind of weapons that was different for each guard, but what made these weapons stand out was the fact that they were made in some sort of material. It was charcoal black, a little shiny, and they looked like space guns.
Even the uniform of the guards was different from an ordinary guard's uniform. Theirs was black, silky, and appeared to look like tight jumpsuits.
And it looked like the guards didn't leave their posts for long, because once they left and disappeared in the corners, the new guard who came didn't even take one second, and they were already there.
So that room was heavily guarded.
A mysterious man had appeared standing right in front of the door while the guards left, and for a second he looked at both corners of the cave, and when he felt like he heard footsteps, he touched the titanium steel door.
Took a deep breath, and before each guard on both ends of the cave appeared, he was gone.
Inside the room was a young man who was tied up in a chair that wasn't a normal one nor was it a familiar one. The chair was made some kind of wooden black material. It was even grounded deep within the ground. There were even some rainbow coloured crystals that were around the legs of the chair.
That young man was none other than Neo himself, and from the looks of it he was still out of it. He was half naked like he was when he was fighting Adam. He didn't even have any shoes on, which was kind of a relief, because they had also chained both his hands and legs, and the chains they used were rusted and had some markings on it.
They were connected to the chains of his hands, which were behind the chair. They didn't look that tight or feel strained. In fact, he looked really comfortable. Half of his face and eyes were not exposed because his black hair was covering his eyes.
The mysterious man that was outside and just disappeared into thin air appeared right in front of Neo, and it was the very same man who caused him to take an unplanned nap, Keegan.
"Oh man, you are still out of it. Well, I guess I may have over done it with my chant."
Keegan sounded disappointed.
"What the hell do you want from me?"
Someone asked, but Keegan wasn't sure who was it since he thought that Neo was out of it.
Neo finally raised his head and saw Keegan. Though his eyes were blocked by his hair, in between the strands of hair it was not that hard to make the colour of his eyes, which were blue like an ocean on a sunny day.
"Oh, so it is finally awake, and it speaks?"
Keegan was a little bit impressed.
"You haven't answered my question. I asked what the hell do you want from me, and the most important one, who are you?"
Neo asked again, though his voice sounded different, like it was bouncing off a wall or something.
Because it was though Keegan was in the same room with Neo, both of them were separated by a prism like shaped box that was in different colours, which included the ones from the rainbow.
"My name is Keegan Hex, kid, and what's your name?"
Keegan had taken a chair and set in right in front of where Neo was sitting in his prism prison.
"My name is Neo."
Neo introduced himself too.
"Well, does Neo have a last name?"
Keegan asked as he turned the chair around and finally sat down, leaning against the back of the chair and putting his head over his hands that were crossed and balanced with the chair's black.
"Laywood, my name is Neo Laywood."
Neo introduced his full name, which was quite a surprise, because Neo wasn't this type of calm person, and often whenever he found himself in situations like these he would go in rage and try to rip the first person he saw. But when it came to Keegan, he was calm.
"And do you know where you are, Neo Laywood?"
Keegan asked.
"Just call me Neo, and no, I don't know where I am, but I'm sure it's got to do with that old man I think I may have killed. I'm not sure, it's still a little bit fuzzy."
Neo corrected.
"Uh... so you do recall killing a person. That is indeed quite impressive."
Keegan thought.
"So you must be a proceccutor, and you are here to ask me questions and tell me to say something so I can cut a better deal. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I don't know how to explain it."
Neo looked at Keegan.
"Do I really look like a proceccutor? Nah, kid, you are wrong. I'm not, and I'm sure as hell you are not where you think you are."
Keegan was now swinging in front with the chair.
"Then if you are not a proceccutor and I'm not in prison, then—"
Right before Neo could finish off his questions, something totally unexpected started to happen. Now Neo wasn't on the floor of the prism, he was on top.
"What the?"
He didn't freak out, but was aware of his situation.
A second ago he was staring at Keegan right in the eyes, and out of nowhere he just poofed and was now hanging upside down.
"So they decided to activate it?"
Keegan was unshaken by what he was seeing.
"Perfect timing."
He had an idea and was smiling sinister.
"What the hell is going on?!"
Neo was now starting to getting pissed.
And he had a good reason too, because now without warning he was proofing and appearing in all corners of his prism cell.
"What you are experiencing now is known as the ripple effect."
Keegan said as his eyes move around with Neo.
"A what?"
Neo asked as he kept proofing around. This time around, as he asked that question, he appeared on the left side of the prism.
"It's where you think you feel yourself jumping around the prism, but that's not the case, because the prism is actually the one changing and moving around."
Keegan tried explaining to Neo.
"Huh?!"
But Neo wasn't understanding it.
"Take it like a rotation of the earth, but unlike the earth, where you don't feel the effects, but when you are inside the prism you experience it first hand!"
Keegan explained further.
"Well, I don't like it!"
Neo said.
Though he was busy bouncing around, Neo still didn't feel like he wanted to vomit or anything. In fact, it was the opposite, he was getting mad.
"How are you feeling right now?!"
Keegan asked the obvious question, but acted clueless.
"I'm really starting to feel really mad!"
Neo admitted.
"Perfect."
Keegan said in a low voice to himself.
"Hey, kid! I've got bad news for you. You see, your parents, we couldn't save them, and because they are part of the organisation that has been hunting us for ages, we decided to put them out of their misery and end their pathetic lives!"
Keegan said.
"What did you say?!"
Neo thought that maybe he must have heard him wrong.
But after he heard what he thought he heard, the prism had stopped doing rotating or doing whatever it was that Keegan claimed it was doing, and Neo was back on the floor.
"What did you say? I didn't quite catch that?"
Neo was now starting to change.
"You heard me perfectly, kid. We've decided to end them."
Keegan leaned in closer to the prism and showed Neo both his parents' torn clothing covered in blood.
Neo was now breathing heavily, and he was moving around the chair trying to escape.
"What are you going to do about it?"
He smiled like he was enjoying this.
Neo's eyes were suddenly changing colour. They were busy flickering between his normal eye colour and his Devil Blood eyes, which were actually red, and Keegan saw that.
Neo finally broke free from his chains and was now running up and down, trying to punch the prism with his bare hands, trying to escape.
Which were now also bleeding.
Keegan knew, more like he had hope, that Neo would escape the prism.
And as Neo's punch managed to punch through the prism.
Keegan got off his chair and kicked it.
"Perfect."
He also turned one of his eyes red.
