Neo didn't just see Keegan just get up from what must have been his end game, one thing that he was certain would have worked and put down his opponent without any problem.
When he was still fidgeting his hands, Keegan was still trying to compose himself to have the strength that he was going to need to deal with this kid. After all, he really didn't expect much, let alone to have him pushed to the point that he will have to rely on his own true strength and power.
One could say that while he was sitting down and leaning against the door, Keegan was busy trying not only to collect himself, but also try to put his own mind that may have been messed up a little bit together.
So he was scratching the floor with his hands that now have decided to take out their own claws.
'How could this kid be strong, huh? It's like every time I try to counter attack, he'll know how to block me even before I can fully act out my plan. Well, I guess there's no need for me to hold back anymore, because if I'm not careful I might end up like that Crucifixion guy.'
Keegan thought to himself.
'I know I haven't revealed my real power in a while, even to my students, and I've always been okay with that because I've always known, and I've been told, that I am one of the strongest Devil Blood. So now I'm about to show this kid, and I really hope I don't hurt him real bad.'
Keegan continued to talk to himself.
"It's now or never."
He started to get back up.
After Neo had retreated, he had turned his back on Keegan, but once he started to get back up, Neo couldn't help himself but have this blood boiling and blood rush, with the back of his hair standing when he got the feeling that he should run away while he still can.
Neo may have not used all of his power, but while his emotions were still the ones controlling him in that state, he couldn't think straight, nor did he even know how to utter a single word. So when he felt all of that, he knew he had no choice but to turn around and look back.
Which, by the way, he didn't even turn his whole body, just his head. Maybe he wanted to feel and look cool, or he just wanted to scare Keegan and hoped that it worked.
But once he saw him rise back up, smiling at him with his mouth drooling with blood.
Something in Neo knew that he was in trouble, especially when he heard him say these words.
"Okay, now I see I will have to use my full strength."
And saw his eye flicker and become bright blood red.
He knew that there wasn't much that he can do, so out of desperation or fear, whichever one was the strongest fuel that he needed to save his ass, even if it meant killing him, now it was a survival instinct.
Neo was maybe like seven feet apart from his opponent, but once he saw Keegan raise his head, he took that as a declaration of war, and without holding back he dashed forward and towards him.
He was fast, like really fast. It was like one second he was here and the next he was there. It's hard to know if that also caught Keegan by surprise, because a second ago his opponent was way up there, and now he was here in a blink of an eye.
Neo waved his hand, trying to punch Keegan in the face, since it looked like he was not even paying attention, facing down and trying to wipe off the blood.
It looked like he couldn't even see the fist coming, but when it was like one inch closer to his face, Keegan raised his head and his hair had covered his face. But just like Neo, in between his hair strands, he saw the change in his eye colour and felt the thing that warned him to drop everything and run.
When Keegan smiled while he was still feet away from him, it didn't scare him that much, but now that he saw it closer, he felt something different.
Right before Neo's fist could land on his face, Keegan was gone, like he had vanished into nowhere. Even Neo's punch had power, and so when it missed, a wave of wind cut through the wall.
When he saw that he didn't land one, he looked at his hand and saw steam coming off it. That's when he realised if he landed one on him, Keegan would have been a goner.
Then he turned his head and saw Keegan facing down, and his body was dangling like he was being controlled by someone or something.
Neo raised a brow as a way of saying:
'How did you get all the way there?'
He didn't have time to wait for an answer, because in honest truth, even if he did ask it, it's not like he was going to get it.
So Neo did what he always does best, which is his flaw, let his emotions get the better of him. He just skipped and appeared next to Keegan, and when he tried to punch him again, Keegan would do the same trick and disappear.
But this time around, it looked like even Neo was prepared for that, because they both jumped around the room, appearing in all corners of the walls and disappearing without leaving even a dust of wind.
Neo gave all he could, and since he was a fighter himself, he knew all the spots to hit, but it was all meaningless because Keegan either blocked it or he would appear in another place.
They jumped around, and each time Neo tried to land one on him, their pace would pick up and they would jump around like grasshoppers, or even crickets for that matter. Now they were bouncing around, even causing jumping sound effects.
And Keegan made sure that he did not make a mistake, even by the slightest. He made sure that he blocked all of his opponent's attacks.
But the way things were happening, it seemed like he didn't have the opening he needed because Neo never gave him a chance.
So after fighting and blocking for what seemed for hours, their speed was starting to slow down, and just as they both landed on the floor, without even being able to explain it, Neo just flew across the room and crashed against the door.
And it wasn't like maybe it happened that Keegan finally managed to land that lucky, lucky one hit on him. Neo was already beaten and bruised up when he crashed against that door, and it wasn't because of the first bruises he got when they started fighting.
These ones were new, and though he himself doesn't even know how he got them, it turned out to be pretty impressive. While he was busy hitting Keegan, who was busy blocking every direction, in between attempted punches Keegan was also hitting Neo, though he didn't seem like he was feeling it.
But once he got to the door, Neo was having a hard and tough time standing. His face was bloodied and his eyes were bruised. He couldn't see perfectly, and his body was now trembling, and his feet could barely stand.
Keegan walked slowly towards his opponent and saw that he was on the verge of defeat, and so Keegan did the exact same thing that Neo did earlier, right before he pushed him to his limit.
He used the same technique and style and punched Neo non stop, like the way he did to him, and whenever he tried to fight back and push, Keegan would punch his shoulders just to weaken his strength.
And now Neo was the one on the other side, and he wasn't liking it. And now that his only line of defence was broken, out of desperation Neo was lucky enough to see an opening and he just went for it and took it.
Which was, he managed to push himself against the door and headbutted Keegan, who didn't expect even that. But once he stumbled back and shook his head.
Keegan touched it to check if he was okay and saw blood streaming down on his head. He wiped it off and tasted it, and then he smiled.
"Impressive."
Just as he was about to attack Neo again, he saw Neo standing and not moving, while breathing heavily.
And once he raised his head, Keegan saw a different light of Neo. His eyes had stopped flickering between his two colours, now they were turning full on red.
And his fangs were coming out, and so were his horns.
"Wasn't that your full power?"
Keegan was shocked.
But then he saw some of his blood on Neo's face and some of it in his mouth.
Right after, his veins popped up and were about to go all the way to his eyes.
"Okay, I've seen enough."
Keegan said worryingly.
And when Neo ran towards him, Keegan jumped just before he ran into him, more like through him.
And when he was in mid-air, he used his hand to touch Neo's head.
"Suppress."
Keegan's hand released some kind of invisible force that pushed Neo to the floor, causing his head to go through the floor.
