Chapter 1 - Devil Fruit- Hie hie No Mi

Japan's number one hero school, U.A., an institution that produced the best heroes of today like All Might, Endeavor, Mirko, etc...

Currently, in the general education department, there was a young teenager with fair skin, light blue eyes, and hair as white as snow.

The young man was named Yoru Shirayuki and was a first-year student, having just over two weeks since he entered U.A.

Yoru let out a yawn while listening to the math class taught by the hero Ectoplasma.

"Shirayuki, what is the result of this equation?" asked Ectoplasma, looking at the young man who was startled.

Yoru looked at the digital blackboard, observing the math exercise, and furrowed his brow.

"I don't know," he responded honestly.

"You would know if you didn't try to fall asleep every time I'm teaching my class."

"Come on, sensei, I'm not the only one half asleep. For example, look at Shinso," Yoru pointed to another purple-haired young man who, previously asleep, was now upright with a look of concentration.

"Are you making excuses?"

Yoru sweated nervously and shook his head furiously.

"By tomorrow, you will bring me 50 solved exercises so you learn the topic."

"Okay," he replied dejectedly.

Ectoplasma let out a sigh and muttered something about young people.

'I prefer Midnight; at least she has a nice rear,' thought Yoru distractedly, pretending to pay attention to the class.

It had been two full years since he transmigrated to this world. A world of heroes and villains whose protagonist has a special power that breaks his bones when he uses it, and a friend he was sure was his secret romantic interest.

Anyway, Yoru had no luck in his transmigration, as his Quirk only allowed him to lower his body temperature to about 30 degrees.

In short, it was a useless Quirk. He had barely managed to enter U.A. as a general education student, where there were others like him who weren't accepted into the hero course.

As Yoru relaxed, thinking about the sports festival that was about to begin, he heard something like a muffled sound that grew louder.

[Congratulations on Successfully Transmigrating to the world of One Piec...]

[ERROR404]

'What the hell?' Yoru thought at the sudden message in his head.

'One Piece? Was I supposed to end up in One Piece? How did I end up in Boku no Hero?'

[An error has occurred in the Omniversal Management Area... We apologize for the inconvenience]

One of Yoru's eyebrows twitched.

'Where's the complaints department?! I'll get the idiot who brought me to this world fired!' he mentally shouted.

[There is no need to bother the staff complaints department. You will be granted considerable compensation for the inconvenience]

'Inconvenience my ass! Where's the complaints department!'

[There is no need to bother the staff department. You will be granted compensation for the inconvenience]

Yoru felt his anger about to reach its peak upon reading the same words over and over again like a broken record.

Yoru calmed down on the outside, acting normally, while inside he was furious.

'You know what? Screw you and just give me the compensation!' he finally thought.

[Agreed...]

[Congratulations, you have obtained a Devil Fruit of the Logia type. Name: Hie Hie no Mi]

[As compensation for the inconvenience, the weakness to water has been removed]

Yoru blinked.

'Now I'm an ice man?' he thought incredulously. However, slowly, a smile formed on his face.

He had finally gotten something good. His two years of waiting were totally worth it. He obtained a Devil Fruit of the Logia type, and one of the strongest and most versatile ones.

[Thank you for your service. Until your next transmigration]

With that, the screen dematerialized into nothingness.

Yoru grabbed a piece of paper and watched as it froze, forming a ball of ice cold to the touch.

'Well, excellent. With this, I can win the sports festival and be transferred to the hero class.' With that thought, Yoru was excited for the rest of the day.

When the afternoon had arrived, Yoru walked down the hallway, seeing quite a few students in front of Class 1-A.

'Well, this doesn't interest me. I have to train. Oh, right, also change the status of my Quirk.'

Yoru moved through the hallway, passing by just as a girl exclaimed, "What the hell!"

---

Yoru returned to his home, located about 30 minutes from U.A., so he needed to take the train. His family lived in a medium-sized apartment in a building.

His family consisted only of his mother, who was a retired heroine due to a certain incident with the greatest villain of all, All For One, where her Quirk was stolen.

His father died fighting a villain to save some civilians. Fortunately, they both had quite a bit of money, so they weren't doing poorly financially.

His father had died in his duty as a hero when he was little, or so he remembered from the memories he had of this world's Yoru Shirayuki.

"I'm back."

Taking off his shoes, he grabbed some simple sandals and entered his home. Upon reaching the living room, he saw his mother, who was in the kitchen preparing dinner.

"Welcome home, son."

Yoru's mother was a young woman in her thirties with white hair, a little taller than average, and beautiful for her age.

When she was younger, she was a heroine who was around the top 50. However, after a fight against All For One, she lost her Quirk to the villain, forcing her to retire.

"How was school?"

"Pretty bad. I think Ectoplasma hates me. He asked me to do 50 equation exercises." Yoru made a bitter face remembering his homework, though it was replaced by his new power.

"Oh, and I discovered something interesting."

"And what is it?"

"Well, it seems my Quirk evolved," he replied, making his mother open her mouth and then close it in shock.

"R-really?"

"Yes." To demonstrate, Yoru showed his palm, where it began to grow an ice protrusion that took the shape of a baseball bat.

"Now I think I can control ice and give it any shape I want," he explained, dissipating the ice bat.

His mother, seeing the evolution of her son's Quirk, felt happy. Unable to hold back any longer, she hugged her son, saying it was incredible.

"Okay, Mom. It's not that big a deal," said Yoru, still being hugged.

"Yes it is," said Yoru's mother, pulling away and looking at her son. "It's something incredible. There are few occasions when Quirks can evolve like yours just did," she expressed.

"Yes. So, do we have to go change the registration for my Quirk?"

"Of course. Although, do you really plan to continue with becoming a hero?" the woman asked, worried about her only son.

"Yes." Yoru's response was firm, without hesitating for a moment.

The white-haired woman sighed.

"Okay, I won't stop you, but you have to keep yourself safe. Do you promise?"

"I promise."

"Alright, young man, now go do your homework while I finish dinner."

---

After that conversation with his mother, Yoru went to his room. Upon arriving, he closed the door and began testing the limits of his new powers.

He had about two weeks to gain control over his ice powers. He wouldn't have to worry about the water weakness since it didn't exist; this was his compensation for the transmigration error.

Although he didn't dislike Boku no Hero, he would have preferred One Piece. That way he could be a pirate or a marine and form a crew with pretty girls.

'Although the ones in this world aren't so bad either,' Yoru thought about Midnight and how she was sexier in real life than in the anime. He was sure that one way or another he would get close to the heroine Midnight.

But he would do that later. His main goals were to win the sports festival, be transferred to the hero class, rescue Eri from Overhaul, and then deal with All For One and Shigaraki to avoid the whole issue of the two final wars.

Although it might be better to just eliminate Shigaraki in Deika, and then All For One would have to move personally, and he'd take the chance to kill him.

Yoru let out a sigh.

He was definitely going to kill All For One for having stolen his mother's Quirk in this world. He was a petty and selfish person. And he felt good about that.
