Cherreads

Chapter 4 - A Sudden Proposal

The forest stretched in an endless tableau beneath a canopy of emerald and gold, where the afternoon moonlight shattered into shimmering veins upon the damp, mossy floor. Kazien stood at the center of this quiet expanse, his lithe body coiled with a fierce, singular determination. Clad in shadow-woven leather armor, he surveyed his surroundings, his mind already fixed on the task ahead: his inaugural mission to eradicate a nearby goblin infestation. The Guild in Lazavis City awaited the proof of his victory, and with a calm, deep breath, he turned to depart, his boots crunching softly on the blanket of fallen leaves.

Alvin, the cute high elf who had just been saved by Kazien, followed him like an annoying shadow. Alvin's golden-yellow hair was like trapped sunlight, and his wide eyes were filled with unspoken pleas and despair.

Kazien halted, his brow furrowing in a blend of confusion and wary delight. "Alvin," he said, his voice a low, curious edge, "are you still intent on following me?"

The High Elf paused, his delicate features creasing with a profound vulnerability. Azvel was a savage, unpredictable continent, swarming with ferocious beasts that saw the unwary as easy prey. To be alone here would be certain doom. "Don't you have the heart to leave me here?" Alvin replied, his voice a broken silk thread, frayed with despair. "Take me with you. Please."

In the dim, flickering light cast by the cavern's edge, a pang of guilt twisted in Kazien's heart. Yet, as his eyes lingered on the ethereal figure before him-the being whose life he had just saved-this felt like the perfect, fated moment to seize his destiny. The beauty and cuteness of Alvin that Kazien had never seen before: Stunningly beautiful features, golden hair that shimmers like a waterfall of moonlight, and eyes that sparkle with a mysterious mint green color. For Kazien, an immortal being with eternal youth, such perfection is a rare spark of electricity in an endless existence.

Gathering his courage, he blurted out the question that had been burning in his mind. "Don't you have a gender yet?"

Alvin blinked, his long lashes fluttering in surprise. He nodded slowly, his voice a soft melody that echoed faintly off the nearest stone wall. "Not yet. My kind chooses when the time is right."

Kazien's pulse quickened. High Elves were legendary beings of ancient magic, graceful and unbound by mortal frailties. And this one owed him a life debt. "Are you willing to be my wife?"

The words hung in the air like a potent spell. Alvin's eyes widened, his porcelain cheeks flushing a subtle rose. For a High Elf, refusing a savior's earnest request was an unthinkable taboo, woven into the very fabric of their sacred code. Yet this human's sheer boldness was as bewildering as it was utterly intriguing.

"Okay," Alvin replied, his voice remarkably steady despite the shock that rippled through him. "I will become a beautiful woman for you."

"No!" Kazien interjected, his tone fervent, bordering on desperation. "I want a man to be my wife!"

Alvin stared, utterly perplexed. Is he crazy? he thought. I could shift into the most alluring woman imaginable-curves that would make poets weep, lips like ripened cherries. But a man? Does his mind work in riddles?

"If I remain a man," Alvin ventured cautiously, "I won't be able to bear your children."

"I don't mind!" Kazien shot back, his gaze unyielding.

"I only have one hole," Alvin pressed, his voice dropping to a provocative whisper, testing the human's strange resolve.

"I don't care!" Kazien's response was a thunderclap of certainty.

Alvin tilted his head, strands of his golden hair shifting like liquid silk. "That woman has two holes. Aren't you interested in that?"

"I don't care! I'm only interested in cute faces, not pretty ones." Kazien's eyes sparkled with pure, disarming honesty, fixed entirely on Alvin's charm-the soft roundness of his cheeks and the playful curve of his lips.

"Are you serious about wanting me-as a man-as your wife?"

In a gesture that stunned even the ancient cavern into silence, Kazien dropped to his knees, prostrating himself completely at Alvin's feet. His hands were clasped in urgent supplication, his forehead nearly touching the cool stone floor. "Please, be my wife in the form of a man! I'm utterly captivated by your cute face. Our meeting here... it must be destiny. I won't let this chance slip away!"

Alvin's breath hitched.

For a High Elf, such prostration was no mere plea-it was a sacred vow of loyalty, a binding oath etched deep into the soul. Does this human even realize the weight of what he's done?

Yet, sincerity radiated from Kazien like sunlight cutting through storm clouds. He begged with an earnest fire in his eyes, and Alvin felt the inexorable pull of fate. This man had saved him from certain death; to harm or deny him now would be to shatter elven law.

"Won't you regret it?" Alvin asked softly, his voice laced with vulnerability.

"Never!" Kazien rose slightly, his expression fierce. "Having a cute man as my wife is my deepest wish. My family has blessed this path-they've seen my heart's truth!"

Alvin's lips quirked into a knowing smile. "No wonder you've called me Alvin from the beginning. Prove your commitment. Show me your penis. I need to see it."

Kazien stood without hesitation, his fingers deftly unzipping his rugged trousers. The air grew thick with anticipation as he revealed himself, standing proud and unashamed.

Alvin stepped closer, his slender fingers wrapping around Kazien's shaft with clinical curiosity. He examined it intently-its warmth, its subtle veins pulsing under silken skin. Kazien shivered, a low groan escaping his lips.

"Why are you holding it like that?" Kazien gasped, arousal stirring powerfully. "You're turning me on!"

"That's precisely what I'm waiting for!" Alvin murmured, his touch growing bolder. He stroked with deliberate rhythm, teasing the sensitive underside until Kazien's member swelled, rigid and throbbing. Satisfaction gleamed in Alvin's mint-green eyes.

"One final question: Do you truly want me, a man, as your wife?"

"Yes," Kazien breathed, his voice husky with desire. "I'm enchanted by your cute face."

"And your reason?" Alvin demanded, his grip tightening just enough to elicit a moan.

"Because I am immortal! Marry a woman and have millions of children? Just thinking about it drives me crazy. My immortality has become my burden!"

Alvin tilted his head back and laughed-a rich, melodious sound, echoing like wind chimes in the breeze.

Immortal? Perfect! High Elves live thousands of years longer than ordinary humans. At least I can breathe easy knowing I'll get to spend a considerable amount of time with him.

Before his eyes, Alvin's body responded to his will. Flesh rippled like water disturbed by a stone. A protrusion emerged, swelling forward-first a modest bud, then lengthening into a fully formed penis, accompanied by testicles that settled with a natural heft. Alvin stood now as a man, lithe and cute, his new manhood mirroring Kazien's in its powerful promise.

"Alvin," Kazien whispered reverently, "do you truly wish to be my wife?"

"I am the man you desire!" Alvin replied, his voice deepening with newfound timbre. "Of course I accept you as my husband!"

"Then let's forge an eternity contract," Kazien declared, his tone absolute. "I want to live with you forever!"

Alvin's jaw dropped, his mint-green eyes wide with awe. "You can make others immortal like you??"

"Yes, I can! You will not age when you reach sixteen years old!"

"I don't understand," Alvin confessed, his heart pounding, "but do it! Let us be bound forever!"

Alvin's broad smile bloomed, radiant as dawn. It pierced Kazien like an arrow-Zing!-straight to the soul. Unable to resist, Kazien reached out, cupping Alvin's face, his thumbs tracing the soft contours of his cheeks.

"Your smile is truly captivating. I want to see your smile forever."

"Whatever you desire, it's yours," Alvin vowed. "My body, my soul-they're surrendered to you."

Kazien nodded and then he stepped back, beaming. "Are you ready?"

"Ready, my dear," Alvin affirmed.

Kazien closed his eyes, his arms outstretched, his voice resonating with ancient power.

"Oh, chosen soul, I am Kazien Altavis! If you acknowledge my existence, answer my call. Come with a sincere heart, without regret, without betrayal. If you are willing, tell me your name!"

"Alvin Dass'el Latreess!" The words ignited the air, a profound declaration.

A golden-red light streaked like a comet, coiling around Alvin's right palm. It fused into his skin, etching an intricate symbol-a swirling sigil of interlocking hearts wreathed in flames.

"It's done," Kazien said triumphantly.

Alvin stared at the glowing mark, feeling its pulse sync perfectly with his own heartbeat. "This is our bond? I feel you-everywhere."

"Indeed. We're one. It tracks us, binds us."

"And if it breaks?" asked Alvin, a sudden shadow crossing his face.

"You'll die instantly."

Alvin went pale, but Kazien's sincere gaze quickly dispelled his doubts. "Why should I end my wife's life? I have chosen you. I don't want death to separate us."

"I entrust my life to you, my future husband."

"And I to you, Alvin."

They embraced each other lovingly, sealing their promise of eternal devotion.

Kazien pulled back suddenly, his eyes widening in a moment of panic. "Oh no! The mission-I forgot! Goblin extermination. Join me; your kills will count toward the bounty."

Alvin grinned, his new face radiating energy. "Lead on!"

They ventured deeper into the wilds, the forest's canopy weaving emerald tapestries overhead. After several minutes of vigilant trekking, a yawning cave mouth loomed-dark, silent, and foreboding.

"Alvin, you use magic or a bow?"

"Both," Alvin replied with a smirk. "Magic arrows, infused with elements: wind, light, fire, water."

"With our contract, you wield all elements-like me."

Alvin tried it, and astonishment spread across his face. The earth obeyed his command, the soil turning into defensive vines. Darkness enveloped his hands in shadow. Lightning flashed at his fingertips. Ice crystals formed beautifully in the air. Furthermore, the wound he had inflicted on his palm earlier healed smoothly with just a thought: Heal!

Stunned, he gripped Kazien's shoulder. "Never share this power lightly. It's perilous!"

Kazien chuckled, entirely unconcerned. "Only for you. Maybe cute boys abound in the city, but none ensnare me like you."

Relief washed over Alvin.

"One more thing!" Kazien said again. "Even if you're cut up or melted, you'll regenerate-just like me."
