Walking through this house again takes my breath away. When Isabel first showed it to me, it was stunning, but now after her complete renovation in such a short time, I'm overwhelmed by her generosity. I have no idea how I'll ever repay her kindness. The walls stand pristine and clean, with soft lighting running along the baseboards throughout every room, just like the setup I had in my old apartment.
Isabel opened up the entire floor plan, replacing the framed glass doors with elegant archways that create a flowing, connected space. Every room flows into the next, except for one area. When I push open the doors to what was once a closed-off study, I freeze in amazement. Boxes of brand-new sewing equipment fill the space, and the wall surrounding the fireplace has been completely reconstructed into custom storage for countless rolls of pristine fabric, each one still wrapped in its protective plastic covering.
