"CEO Jin, welcome to our home," he said formally. "Thank you for coming today with my daughter to join us for dinner."
"Father-in-law, please call me Jin Di," Jin Di replied smoothly. "I've already said before that there's no need to be so formal between us."
Elena immediately tugged at his arm. "Jin Di, why are you calling my father Father-in-law? That doesn't sound right."
"Hm?" Jin Di looked at her calmly. "We're boyfriend and girlfriend. It's normal for a boyfriend to address his girlfriend's family like this. Don't think too much about the literal meaning, okay, baby?"
She tilted her head, clearly pondering this. "Really? That's normal?"
