Grandpa Lu burst into thunderous laughter. "Good! Very good! To be honest, your grandmother and I were worried sick about you. Your grandfather and father—bless their souls—are gone, and your grandmother keeps fretting that her beloved husband's business genes would end with you."
Jin Di fought the urge to laugh. Business genes?
"You inherited your grandfather's head for business," Grandpa Lu continued proudly. "You're even better than your father was at running Jin Corporation. It's just a pity you didn't inherit your grandfather's… level. If you had, I could've helped you get admitted to… never mind that."
He waved the thought away verbally. "You're already doing an excellent job carrying on the legacy. We're all proud of you, Jin Di boy."
"Thank you, Grandpa Lu," Jin Di said seriously. "I'll continue to do my best."
"That's my boy! Ah—and most importantly, I'm glad you're not gay after all! Hahaha!"
