Chapter 6 - Chapter 2

With an exasperated sigh, Kaiser pinched the bridge of his nose, attempting to stave off the dizziness that seemed to swirl in the corners of his vision as he pushed himself off the cold, hard ground.

Dust and sand clung to his clothes, and his hair fell in disarray around his face, catching the morning light like dark tendrils.

"Man... what the hell...?" he muttered, his voice rough and laced with confusion.

A nervous expression crossed Kaiser's face, his brow furrowing as he scanned the unfamiliar surroundings.

A pang of anxiety twisted in his gut, tightening like a coiled spring. It was an unsettling sensation, the kind that crawled under his skin and made him hyper-aware of his pounding heartbeat.

It felt like waking up from a deep sleep, only to find himself in a place that offered no comfort or recognition.

He struggled to piece together how he had ended up here, his mind racing with questions that seemed to echo in the stillness of the room.

Suddenly, a wave of memories washed over Kaiser, pulling him back to the harrowing experiences he faced in the Endless Void and the complex labyrinth of reincarnation.

"Damn... I really did reincarnate in the world of Marvel," he murmured, a nervous smile curling at the corners of his lips.

A flicker of regret pulsated through him as he recalled the bold declaration he had made during his time in the Void, a flippant remark that now echoed ominously in his mind.

"It doesn't matter in what world I reincarnate; I should be able to survive," he had once confidently asserted, his words brimming with youthful exuberance.

But now, the weight of that proclamation bore heavily upon him, like an anchor dragging him down into the abyss of uncertainty.

It wasn't that Kaiser lacked faith in his God-like ultimate skills and personal skills from the world of fate; on the contrary, it was a profound internal struggle—the battle against his own insecurities.

Yet, as he stood on the precipice of fear, Kaiser steeled his resolve. Or more like something inside of him didn't want to yield to fear.

The same feeling suddenly surged inside of him, spreading to his body, spirit, and soul. Even his mentality and personality seemed to have changed in that same instance.

The very same feeling, or maybe power, would not allow him to succumb to fear and intimidation; that was a privilege reserved for those too weak to forge their destiny in this unpredictable world.

That is where he remembered that he acquired the Absolute Kingly Will. It seems his own willpower was forcing him to change to fully embrace the willpower of an absolute, supreme God king.

"Man... this is amazing!"

Kaiser felt that his emotions surged, and an overwhelming sense of superiority, royalty, and power surged through him.

"This must be the absolute supreme kingly will that I acquired. It is amazing!"

Kaiser sighed and later calmed down. He was getting ahead of himself.

It was not a power, but a sensation. A change in subconscious, personality, and mentality.

All of these things can have an impactful change in a person.

Kaiser was no longer the timid, cautious man. He was still cautious of everything, but this time, if things went south, he could confront them head-on.

Maybe it was the valor, unyielding will, and steel determination, personal skills that changed him, or even the fact that he knew that his soul was truly immortal, Kaiser no longer felt fear.

Yes... Kaiser just felt fear, but as soon as it came, the fear also faded away.

Kaiser recognized that the extraordinary powers of Raphael and Beelzebub, along with the other formidable skills bestowed upon him by his outrageous luck, were vital to his evolution in this perilous landscape.

However, the reality of his surroundings was undeniable.

The world of Marvel stretched out before him—a treacherous world breeming with danger and intrigue, far more perilous than he could have ever anticipated.

He began to retract his earlier proclamation, contemplating the fiery intensity of the world he'd entered.

The worlds of Marvel and DC Comics are undeniably filled with more powerful, extraordinary threats in terms of abilities than other anime universes.

This also meant that Kaiser needed to be more careful.

With each passing moment, Kaiser's anticipation mingled with palpable trepidation, a reminder that in this vibrant yet perilous world, survival would demand not only cunning and strategy but also an unwavering resolve to confront the unfathomable challenges that lay ahead.

Kaiser looked around, his senses trying to figure out what was going on. More like trying to access where he currently was. It seems that he is currently on a deserted island.

The gentle sound of waves lapping at the shore blended with the sweet scent of saltwater and tropical flora, creating an atmosphere that felt both inviting and foreign.

"Man... this world is incredibly beautiful, but also filled with danger."

Kaiser had visited numerous beaches in his past life. Still, he had never encountered a scene as breathtaking as this one.

The view before him was mesmerizing.

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue over the glistening waves, their rhythmic crash against the shore producing a soothing melody.

The sharp scent of saltwater filled the air, invigorating his senses. At the same time, the distant calls of seagulls echoed above, their silhouettes stark against the vibrant sky.

The water was crystal clear.

As he turned to survey the opposite side of the island, he was greeted by a sight that captivated him even more. Towering trees stretched toward the heavens, their trunks thick and gnarled, with leaves rustling softly in the gentle breeze.

These colossal giant trees dwarfed anything he had encountered before, their bark textured and rough, telling stories of countless seasons weathered.

Kaiser couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the sheer majesty of nature surrounding him.

It seems that he reincarnated on a deserted island. The best place to quite literally "Spawn" out of nowhere. But also bad because he doesn't have enough food.

As Kaiser was thinking, something unexpected happened.

Suddenly, an excruciating pain surged through him, like a relentless tidal wave crashing upon the shore. It pulled him from the vivid scene before him, yanking him into a realm of agony.

With a sharp gasp, Kaiser clutched his temples, his fingers digging into his skin as a vise-like grip of torment clamped around his skull. Every pulse of his heartbeat resonated with each wave of his suffering, echoing like the distant rumble of thunder during a fierce storm.

He had thought he had requested the "Pain Nullification" skill from the System of reincarnation. This gift would render all forms of pain meaningless.

So, why was he now ensnared in such brutal discomfort?

A chilling realization pierced through the haze of his agony—a grim understanding of his vulnerability.

In that moment of realization, the world around him warped as he understood the gravity of his situation.

Something was probing at his very essence; it felt as if his spirit or soul was being assailed by unseen forces. An unsettling sensation washed over him, like icy fingers reaching deep within.

Yet, unknown to Kaiser, what was truly unfolding was even more bewildering. Kaiser was actually awakening all of the skills he obtained and requested in the Endless Void with the help of the System of Reincarnation.

What was actually happening was that Kaiser was going through a forced awakening.

Normally, a person in the world of Tensura needs to wait around 90 days before their skills fully awaken.

Or that was the explanation that the novel gave to the readers. That was the explanation given to the readers as to why Great Sage didn't awaken right after Rimuru reincarnated.

Ultimate skills and Unique skills, as soon as they are acquired, you can use them. But the use of those skills will feel incomplete.

This is because there is a 90-day time period.

In the world of Tensura, skills are crystallizations of the soul.

This means that as they are acquired, a piece of the soul is separated and given form in the form of a skill.

The 90-day time period represents the time needed for soul-body synchronization, stability, and compatibility, enforced biologically, metaphysically, and spiritually, so that the Unique Skill can become, once again, a true part of the person instead of tearing them apart.

This means that skill, which was once a part of the soul, will merge with the soul permanently.

In Kaiser's case, the system of reincarnation was actually forcing the multiple powerful skills of Kaiser to awaken correctly.

This was because Kaiser possessed a True Immortal Soul, and the damage done to his soul would be repaired immediately.

The only downside was the immense pain.

This process is dangerous.

Not even crazy maniacs like Feldway, Michael, and Yuuki, in the world of Tensura, would consider doing something like this.

Thankfully, the forced activation of his skills was not going to kill Kaiser, nor going to injure him in the slightest.

Kaiser has a 'True Immortal' soul, and the damage done to his soul will be repaired faster than the damage appears.

This also awakened all of the personal and class skills that he acquired from the Fate Universe. And some of the skills were changing him.

As soon as the process is complete, Kaiser will be able to use ALL of his skills correctly right after this happens.

It didn't take long for the process to stop.

As the relentless stream of pain faded away, Kaiser inhaled deeply, letting the breath clear the chaos in his mind and soul.

Aside from the pain fading away, Kaiser began to think of something else.

He was in a new world. A new identity. A new appearance.

Trying to cling to the past felt... too obsessive.

He had died in his previous universe, meaning there is no need to be there.

This is going to be his new world. This means... a new name.

What kind of name should he get?

From what he can barely think of his situation, his main templates are of Athena, Gemini Aspros, and Romulus-Quirinus in Fate.

His new name in this world is Aspros.

Yes... he decided to go with that name. He decided to go with the name of Gemini Aspros.

But his full name is going to be...

Aspros.

(Author Note: From now on, he will be Aspros, not Kaiser.)

[Consciousness synchronization complete. Welcome, Master!]

Suddenly, Aspros, who was still arranging his memories and personality, heard the words that only he could hear.

A big smile was on Aspros's handsome face as he heard the voice that spoke to him in a sensual, cold, ethereal female voice.

This voice belonged to his God-tier Ultimate-Ultimate Skill, "Raphael, Supreme Goddess Queen of Divine Wisdom."

"Raphael, is that you...?" Aspros whispered, surprised at the clarity of the memory from the anime.

His Raphael had the same voice as the Voice of the World of the Tensura universe, but it sounds more humane, still cold and ethereal.

[Yes, Master. I am here for you for all eternity.]

Raphael said with a voice laced with fanaticism, deep loyalty, and deep love.

This mere show of affection surprised Aspros very much, but he later smiled.

From the very moment that Aspros heard this sentence, he knew that whatever he was told about his version of Raphael was true.

He could clearly hear the admiration, fanaticism, deep loyalty, and love from his new partner.

In Aspros's current evaluation and opinion, his version of Raphael was obsessive and possessive, like Albedo from the anime Overlord.

Which is a good thing for him.

No... Albedo would die to be in the same position that Raphael has right now. Raphael is quite literally attached to his soul and consciousness. At least Raphael is connected to him through their soul and minds.

Maybe it was because he had gone through different types of changes that he didn't mind the over-obsessiveness of Raphael.

In fact, he found it cute.

That is at least one change that he could notice since he got into this world.

Aspros also felt a wave of relief wash over him as he acknowledged Raphael's presence.

Raphael is a skill that has the power to guide him through greatness. No... Aspros had the wheels; Raphael was the one making sure nothing would happen on his way.

The original Raphael would never impose her will on the will of her Master. Not even when Raphael evolved into the Manas known as Ciel, she never imposed her will on her Master.

She might take control of the body when she feels that her Master is in great danger, but she never took over the body for more than a few hours.

This is also something that always bothered Aspros when reading fanfiction about the Unique skill "Great Sage," or even the Ultimate Skill "Raphael."

All MCs of multiple fanfictions think that their "Great Sage," or their ultimate skill, "Raphael," would always want to turn against them.

Skills in the world of Tensura are fragments of the soul. A fragment of the soul is separated and later takes shape in the form of a skill.

But the skill comes from the personality of the user, or the beliefs that align them to an established skill.

This makes Skills the representation of the ego.

That is why no one can have the same skill, or if they have similar names and abilities, there is always a difference.

The ego, in this case, is the identity of the soul. Without an ego or a drive, humans and other creatures would be brainless beasts.

The reason why Manas Michael betrayed Rudra is because of another problem entirely.

Let's consider the hypothetical case that the Ultimate skill "Michael, Lord of Justice" was originally the Ultimate skill that Rudra awakened, instead of the Ultimate skill "Uriel, Lord of Vows."

If that were the case, most probably, Michael wouldn't go crazy.

But that is where the problem starts. The Ultimate Skill "Michael, Lord of Justice" was not Rudra's original ultimate skill. It was actually Veldanava's skill.

Most people who speak about the problem between Rudra and Michael seem not to be able to read correctly.

The Creator God of the Tensura universe, Veldanava, created all 14 angelic ultimate skills. A series of skills that would later be known as the "Virtue Series."

Some ultimate skills, mostly without ego, were given to some of the primordial angels. While some angelic skills were placed in the cycle of reincarnation.

The Ultimate skill "Michael, Lord of Justice," was the only ultimate skill that was not placed in the cycle of reincarnation or given to someone else.

It was a skill that Veldanava kept for himself for the time being.

When Veldanava wanted to change his Ultimate Skill, "Michael, Lord of Justice," for Rudra's Uriel, Michael was not happy.

However, as a skill that had a weak ego, it didn't know better and simply merged with Rudra.

Rudra used the amazing power of the Ultimate skill "Michael, Lord of Justice" to quickly build the Eastern Empire.

But when Veldanava died, or at least his True Dragon Form, this catastrophic event made an ERROR in the system known as the "Voice of the World," which was made by Veldanava for the universe.

In the occurrence of this event, this allowed Michael to gain an ego. To question its existence. To question why he was given to Rudra, when he wanted to be near his master, Veldanava.

As the ego manifested, it later contacted Feldway and later became the Manas known as "Michael."

As a manas, Michael began to fight over the control of the body of Rudra. When Michael finally won, Rudra was no longer there.

The one taking possession was Michael, the Lord of Justice.

That is why Michael went rogue.

He simply crashed out because his creator and true master died. Not because Rudra did something wrong.

Raphael proves this.

Raphael grew and took shape from the Unique skill "Great Sage" of Rimuru Tempest.

And when Raphael evolved into the Manas known as Ciel, she didn't try to take over Rimuru's body. This is because Ciel had a sense of deep loyalty and deep feelings for Rimuru.

Rimuru was Ciel's master.

She was also part of his soul. Or more like she became one with his soul. Or more like they came back to being one being once again.

This is where the following quote hits the hardest.

"When you betray yourself, you are no longer yourself."

If Ciel betrayed Rimuru, Rimuru wouldn't be Rimuru. And if Rimuru betrayed Ciel, Ciel wouldn't be Ciel.

Ciel is Rimuru, and Rimuru is Ciel.

Although they have different thoughts and emotions, they are the same person. They are soul mates.

And while you may argue that this is indirectly shipping them together, it is not the case entirely. This is simply stating a fact.

Think of this situation like Queen Marika and Elden Lord Radagon.

Marika became a new god, and Radagon became the second Elden Lord.

Radagon and Marika are the same person. They used to be one, but somehow they split up, and later came to each other once again.

This makes Aspros appreciate the fact that he was able to get this perfected god-tier ultimate-ultimate skill.

Aspros would never treat Raphael badly, as he needed the company and the skill set of Raphael to thrive in this world.

With the help of Raphael and with his own intelligence and ideas, the two will be able to progress beyond anything.

Aspros also understood that it was time for him to start a relationship with Raphael; the relationship of slave and Master was not what he wanted.

Aspros wanted a genuine respect, love, fanaticism, and admiration type of relationship between the two.

A healthy relationship, just like Raphael and Rimuru cultivated since the very first day when Raphael was still the skill "Great Sage."

Of course, Aspros understands that a servant will always think like a servant, even when elevated to a higher position.

The best example of this is Grayfia Lucifuge, the wife and queen of Sirzechs Lucifer in the anime High School DxD.

Grayfia Lucifuge is the WIFE of the literal King of Hell. And she was also a noble woman. However, she still works as a maid for the family of her husband, even though she has noble blood.

The Ultimate-Ultimate God-level skill "Raphael" was created to serve him, and even now, when nothing has happened, Raphael is dedicated to her role.

This skill was literally born out of the crystallization of his soul, not just a skill that has been handed to him for fun.

Yes... The skill was handed to him through the system of reincarnation, but his soul was used to make Raphael. Not just a power that was given to him.

Aspros wanted Raphael to feel safe, to feel part of him, and to feel like his partner in crime in every scenario. A close friend, a close servant, and even his future wife.

Willing service, willing love and admiration, instead of it being forced.

And given that the personality of Raphael is Goudere and Yandere, this relationship is easy to build.

"Hey, nice to meet you, Raphael! I am sure we'll have a lot of fun." Aspros murmured, a hint of embarrassment coloring his tone, but that tone quickly disappeared. He was happy to meet Raphael.

Of course, who wouldn't be happy to meet their soulmate and reliable partner?

[Nice to meet you, Master!]

[Likewise, I am sure we'll have a lot of fun together. I will serve you for eternity, Master. I'll never betray you.]

Raphael, as if trying to put her values and beliefs out there first, spoke as she introduced herself and declared her loyalty first.

It was clear that she was not here to play games when it came to loyalty. She was his loyal partner 100%.

This made Aspros quite surprised, but he quickly accepted it.

[Master, may I request access to your skills?]

Aspros blinked as he heard the ethereal human-robotic voice of Raphael in his mind. He was perplexed by the question.

He had forgotten that he had gained other abilities as well.

For you, the reader, the sudden change in scenery was nothing more than just scrolling down and opening a new chapter.

However, for Aspros, he had been asleep in the Endless Void.

While the change for him also seemed to be instant, in reality, he had been asleep for quite a while before he actually reincarnated. And some of his memories are still coming back to him.

He had been asleep for God knows how long, and since then, he had forgotten a lot of the things, including his own skills.

Aspros is also confused about one thing.

Why didn't Raphael, his now reliable partner, and Ultimate God-level skill, not gain access to his skills?

Aspros was sure to believe that Raphael was going to get access to all of his current skills.

That was for certain.

But he didn't think that Raphael needed permission to do so. Raphael is part of him. She quite literally is the crystallization of a fragment of his soul.

This means that as a part of him, she has access to other parts of him.

In the light novels of the anime of Tensura, as soon as the Unique skill 'Great Sage' became the Ultimate skill "Lord of Wisdom, Raphael," she started to take the initiative to begin optimizing the skills that Rimuru already had, even without his consent.

Hell!

Raphael, after evolving, started to increase the analysis capabilities of the unique skill of Veldora. This was because Raphael had finished her analysis of 'Infinity Prison,' and she needed Veldora's part to recreate the skill.

She also started to analyze all the skills of the subordinates of Rimuru and made an Ultimate Skill out of that.

That Ultimate Skill was "Uriel, Lord of Vows," which ironically was the skill that Emperor Rudra initially had before he traded said skill for the Ultimate Skill "Michael, Lord of Justice" with Veldanava himself.

So... why didn't she do the same?

"Why didn't you gain access to them? Aren't they your skill as well? I mean, we share the same core, and we are soulmates after all, too."

Aspros was a bit embarrassed, as this was the first time talking about being a soulmate with someone else.

Although he accepted the fact that they were indeed soulmates, the change was sudden.

The feeling was similar to that of a young kid who liked the comfort of his house, school, and friends. But, out of nowhere, he was forced to move across the country.

[My only desire is to protect you, cherish you, and be a partner for you, Master.] Raphael responded.

Honestly... it was really good god damn response.

He wouldn't even have an answer to that. However, before he could speak again, Raphael spoke.

[You are right to say that your skills are my skills, Master. As you stated, we have the same core, meaning we have the same skills.]

[However, you are my master. I don't want to anger you. My loyalty to you is infinite. I belong to you and only to you.]

[As your soulmate and servant, I understand that you come first.]

[With this in mind, unless you permit me, I do not have access to your skills, memories, or even other powers, even if I am able to perceive and use them as well.]

Aspros's eyes softened a bit. He now understood.

It was Raphael's way of doing things.

'Custom AI Waifu with boundaries? That is so cool!' Aspros thought to himself.

"I'll give you full permission, Raphael. Go crazy for me. From now on, if it's something that you feel like you need my permission for, ask me. But if it's something small, then don't ask me about it. I trust you."

Aspros said as he smiled internally, a clear smile given to Raphael.

He also felt that asking for an update every minute was a bit out of place, so, in that regard, he just told Raphael to keep it simple. Or just skip the asking and do whatever she needed to do.

As long as it benefits him, Aspros doesn't really care anymore, especially in this world.

It was going too well for Raphael, and also very good for him, too.

He could sense that Raphael appreciated the fact that he had given his permission. He felt her smile inside his soul as if she were relieved that her master had listened to her.

For a few moments, it was silent. Just pure silence.

The sound of the water moving was the only thing that Aspros could hear. Then... he spoke again.

"Hey, Raphael..."

Aspros called out to her again.

[Yes, Master?] Raphael quickly responded to him, eager to help him and be of service to him.

"From now on, you and I are together."

There was a pause as soon as he said that.

"We do everything together now, okay? We are partners. I don't want disloyalty or anything like that, especially in this world. We need each other to survive in it." Aspros said with a serious tone, and even he was surprised by it.

"I know you will do anything to protect me, and I will do anything to make you feel part of me. Or more like make you more part of me. I don't want us to feel like Master and Slave. I want this to be the relationship of a good Master and loyal servant."

"I am not sure if I can give you a name now, but when I am able to, I'll give you a name, okay?" Aspros said.

"You are me, and I am you, understand? No secrets, no nothing between us. I know you are capable of understanding everything, and doing anything, even capable of taking over my body and taking my identity."

"However, I am giving you my trust, my love, and everything. We'll take this new life by the horns and ride it to eternity."

"I'll trust you, and you'll have to trust me. Okay? I want this to be harmonious between us. Not forced."

"I want us to feel more like actual partners, okay? We need each other to survive in this universe."

Aspros didn't forget his other companions. His other skills

"Same to all of you, guys. Yes... I mean all of you, my skills."

Aspros said all of his skills.

He felt that some of his skills had egos.

Aspros sighed, but later smiled. He truly believed what he said. While it might sound too fast, it was true.

You can call him naive and everything, but he truly loved Raphael and his other skills, even if everything was so sudden.

They are part of him. He loves himself.

You can argue that he is being narcissistic, but it was beyond that.

Aspros was the one who understood Raphael the most, and Raphael and his other skills were also the ones who most understood him, as they were part of him.

After all, they are crystallizations given shape in the form of power from his very soul.

This bond was important, and while Aspros wanted to cultivate said bond, he knew that taking things slowly and surely was the right choice.

So, instead of wanting Raphael and Beelzebub to feel like they were slaves to him, he told them right away that while they could call her 'master,' Aspros would always see Raphael and Beelzebub as equals-- as his other halves.

While Aspros can do a lot of things, Raphael and Beelzebub can do the things that he can do and can't do better.

In a way, they are two skills that complete him. This is the reason why he calls Raphael and Beelzebub his other halves.

"Same to all of you, my other beloved skills."

Aspros said again; he didn't forget her other skills. He already felt attachment towards them; they were a part of him, and he loves himself.

Only love and strength can protect everything; even inside light, there is darkness, and inside darkness, there is light.

He is now the embodiment of both sides.

After all, humanity is both kind and evil at the same time, especially in this world.

There was a pause after he said those words.

You can say that Raphael, Beelzebub, and his other skills heard everything he said to them and still acted the same.

Still, if you were him, you could feel the slightest change in happiness, satisfaction, and devotion that he felt as he finished saying that.

[Thank you, my Master.]

After what seemed to be some long five seconds, Raphael spoke once again.

Aspros could feel the heart-shaped eyes on Raphael's face.

She has gotten even more obsessive.

But not even moments after that, Raphael started to work. It seems her obsession made her want to work harder and harder.

Aspros couldn't help but sigh in excitement as he heard the names of the skills; he knew at least what some of the skills did.

But the rest...? He barely knew anything.

Those were the most important skills that he needed and wanted; Raphael, Beelzebub, and the other skills were more than enough.

Regarding the rest of the skills, Aspros was not sure, but he could learn what they do during this time. After all, he is still getting used to his body.

In fact, asking Raphael what these skills do is the best option as of right now.

Aspros sighed, but he smiled. Life in this world is going to be difficult for a time. Still, after the downsides are eliminated, it is going to be interesting.

With that, Aspros sat down on the ground.

His mind is running with ideas.

But his idea was to first know what kind of things he can do with his abilities.
