*Episode 5 – My Life, Her Mess*
The Jenny situation exploded fast.
By the time we got to lunch, everyone in school was whispering about *me*—well, technically Luna in my body—flirting with Jenny's boyfriend. I felt like crawling into a locker.
Luna didn't care. She shrugged, biting into a sandwich like nothing happened. "You're kinda famous now, Maya."
"I'm kinda doomed," I snapped. "You don't care because it's *my* reputation, not yours."
She rolled her eyes. "It's not like you had one."
That hurt more than it should've.
We sat in awkward silence for a while until I leaned closer. "We made a deal, remember? We have to stick together till Friday. No messing around. No drama."
"Fine," she muttered.
But things didn't get easier.
In gym class, I nearly broke my ankle because Luna's body was NOT flexible. Meanwhile, Luna forgot I had a math test in 3rd period and skipped it to do her nails.
"Are you *trying* to ruin my life?" I asked.
"I'm living it," she said with a grin.
It wasn't funny. I could feel my grades slipping, my social life crumbling, and even my own parents were acting weird. My mom hugged me weirdly that night and said, "You've been… distant, Maya."
Because I wasn't Maya.
That night, Luna and I met secretly at our favorite spot by the park fountain. It was quiet, lit by streetlamps and the soft glow of panic.
"Do you still want to switch back?" I asked softly.
She didn't answer right away. "Your life isn't easy either."
"Neither is yours," I replied.
We looked at each other—me in her, her in me. It was the first time we both saw more than just a face. We saw *everything*—the pressure, the insecurities, the weight we both carried.
"Three days," I said. "That's when we switch back."
"Let's not mess it up," she whispered.
For the first time since this nightmare began… we were on the same page.
