Synopsis
"You mean... you saw four Hilichurls take a hit from a Stormterror's claw, but they were completely unharmed?" Amber stared in disbelief and asked Lumine... Lumine glanced awkwardly into the distance and said, "They weren't exactly unscathed, they were turned into Hilichurl pancakes..." An Electro Lawchurl took out an air pump from off-camera, inflated himself, and then tried to help the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue next to him. However, he pumped in too much air, and watched helplessly as the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue, exhaling gas, flew into the air, accidentally knocking over a passing Dvalin. Finally, he landed on his butt, flattening the restored Water Hilichurl Ranger and Metachurl. Everyone fell silent at this shocking scene.

Chapter 1 - First Entry into Teyvat

In Mondstadt, on this bright and sunny morning, a gentle breeze caressed the land, creating a tranquil and pleasant feeling.

However, amidst this serenity, a humorous and amusing scene unfolded.

A crystal-clear river flowed, its surface shimmering with light.

Right in the middle of this river, a Anemo Hilichurl Rogue stood leisurely on the water's surface.

This Anemo Hilichurl Rogue not only stood on the water but also performed a strange dance to a peculiar rhythm.

Even more interestingly, beside this Anemo Hilichurl Rogue were a Hydro Hilichurl Ranger, a Blazing Axe Mitachurl, and a massive Electro Lawachurl.

They seemed to be drawn by the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue's dance, joining in and dancing around the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue.

This scene appeared so harmonious and joyful that one couldn't help but marvel at the unique and strange dances of the Hilichurls.

Although their dances lacked the grace and structure of human dances, they were full of natural vitality and pure joy, as if they were a unique form of expression bestowed upon them by nature.

Actually.

"Holy crap! This Crab got into my clothes! Help!"

"Huh? A Crab! Catch it! Our good meal today depends on it!"

"Jesse, don't jump around! Let me catch it!"

"Holy crap! You dog-faced Elliot! Where are you touching!"

"I'll come catch Crabs too!"

"Matt, get out of the way! What are you, a Electro Lawachurl, doing joining the fun!"

The four Hilichurls immediately got tangled up, completely oblivious to the axe, which had been struck by the water and stones, falling into the river beside them. Coincidentally, that axe was imbued with the Electro element.

As if sharing the same thought, the four of them froze in place simultaneously, turning their heads to look at the Electro axe that had landed on the water.

The four looked at each other.

They resigned themselves to their fate.

"Pfft."

"Sizzle sizzle sizzle! Crackle crackle!"

"Ugh ugh ugh..."

The four Hilichurls turned into charcoal, maintaining their previous postures.

At this moment, a gentle breeze blew past.

The four Hilichurls turned into ashes and drifted out of frame.

By now, you can probably tell that these four Hilichurls are the protagonists of this book.

They were originally happily playing online, fighting the Raiden Shogun in their dorm, but due to a mistake, everyone except Jesse was wiped out. Fortunately, Jesse was using a C6 Qiqi, and one ultimate skill revived all his teammates.

The moment everyone was revived, they were blinded.

Four phones suddenly emitted four beams of white light, sucking the four of them in, leaving behind four smoking phones fallen on the ground.

When the four woke up, they found themselves in Teyvat, as they all recognized each other and themselves.

The Hilichurl family.

Jesse became a Hilichurl Anemo Hilichurl Rogue.

Elliot became a Hydro Hilichurl Ranger.

Matt became a Electro Lawachurl.

Zane became a Blazing Axe Mitachurl.

After the four understood their situation, they immediately cried like little brats who had their toes stepped on.

After all, Hilichurls are truly weak; in various storylines, there are quite a few Hilichurl Chieftains who get beaten soundly.

But later, the four discovered that they were different from other Hilichurls; they possessed many abilities of comedic characters.

For example, because they didn't know the way, everyone collectively fell down a slope, and three of them were flattened into paper-thin figures by the largest, Matt.

Then Matt pulled out an air pump from off-screen and inflated the three of them.

For example, to build a place to live, Zane pulled out a toolbox from off-screen, taking out a Hilichurl wooden house blueprint and various hammers, nails, and wooden boards.

In short, once they discovered they had the abilities of comedic characters, including immortality, they were no longer afraid. Since they couldn't die, they might as well go wild.

Initially, they wanted to make good use of their abilities, but later they found that they couldn't actively use them, only unconsciously. Many times, they themselves didn't even know what they were doing.

Well, in that case, let's go play!

And so, it became like the beginning of the story.

The scene shifts, and the four perfectly unharmed individuals looked at the large Hilichurl wooden house in front of them, feeling a surge of pride.

"As expected of me, I built such a good house in just one day."

Jesse showily flicked his cloak.

"Stop showing off, get inside quickly, I'm exhausted!"

Zane swung his shoulders and walked into the wooden house.

Seeing this, the other three also entered the wooden house.

"You guys, given our current situation, are we outsiders or Descenders?"

Elliot lay on the straw bed, looking at his palms with a confused expression, as if they didn't belong to him, then turned to the other three and asked.

Jesse frowned, pondered for a moment, and replied, "I'm not too sure either. We clearly just turned into Hilichurls directly, but this doesn't seem like an outsider, nor like a local."

Matt thoughtfully stroked his chin, then suddenly put forth a bold guess: "Is it possible that we took over these four Hilichurls, and only then gained power?"

Upon hearing this, Zane immediately shook his head and denied, "I don't think that's very likely. How could there be Hilichurl Rangers and Electro Lawachurls here in Mondstadt?"

"That's true."

Seeing this, Matt also lay down on his straw bed, giving up on thinking.

Jesse was somewhat curious about what a Hilichurl looked like under the mask, so he took off his mask and pulled out a mirror from off-screen.

Ugh... so grotesque... hair covered the upper half of his face, even his eyes weren't visible. He wondered how Hilichurls saw things.

The lower half of his face... ugh... swollen lips, uneven teeth. Maybe it's better not to look.

Jesse, having put his mask back on, lay helplessly on the straw bed.

His handsome face was gone forever.

"Da~ da da da~ da"

This crisp sound suddenly came, like a melodious tune echoing in the air.

"What's that sound?"

Jesse got up from the bed and looked outside the house.

Zane was also attracted by the sudden sound. He cocked his ear and said doubtfully, "Listening to the sound, it seems like singing?"

Elliot nodded in agreement. He said thoughtfully, "In this wilderness, it's rare to find people singing."

Matt excitedly interjected, "I know! It must be Barbara! My C6 healer!"

Jesse couldn't help but smile at Matt's excited expression, then suggested, "How about we go take a look?"

Elliot thought for a moment, decided there was no danger, and cheerfully replied, "Anyway, we can't die, let's go!"

So, everyone got up and walked out of the house together, heading towards the direction of the sound.

They followed a small path, passed through a dense forest, and finally arrived by a clear river.

By the river, they saw a girl singing softly to the river.

Her singing was melodious and lingering, like a heavenly sound, intoxicating to listen to.

Looking at the girl's attire, a familiar white dress paired with white stockings, it was the iconic uniform of a Favonius Church Deaconess.

"It really is Barbara."

Jesse was the first to speak, a joyful smile on his face, though it couldn't be seen through the mask.

The others also nodded, confirming her identity.

Indeed, the girl singing to the river was Barbara, the Deaconess of the Favonius Church and the idol of Mondstadt City.

Barbara also heard the sound, turned her head, and nearly collapsed in fright.

A massive Electro Lawachurl, two Hilichurl Rangers, and a Blazing Axe Mitachurl were staring at her menacingly.

Although she was a Vision holder, she wasn't skilled in combat. Fighting ordinary Hilichurls was fine, but fighting these Hilichurls? Don't make it difficult for her, a healer.

Barbara knew she couldn't beat these Hilichurls, so she immediately turned and ran away.

"I must tell my sister! A Hilichurl Chieftain has appeared here!"

The nervous Barbara ran at her fastest speed, completely oblivious to the wooden plank Zane had discarded ahead, and she was now stepping right on its edge.

"Bang!"

The plank dropped, and Barbara's body stiffened, falling straight backward.

When the four arrived beside Barbara, they saw Barbara with spiral eyes.

It was clear she had fainted.
