Chapter 3

- Third Person's POV -

"Rhea, you have a visitor." Cyrel shouted from the living room as he opened the door wide.

"Just a moment." Rhea shouted from her room.

"Come in. Rhea is still playing Dota." Cyrel spoke to the young man in front of him.

"Thank you, but I'll wait here for her." The young man answered.

After a while, Rhea came out of her room and walked towards the main door, "Who is that, sister?"

"His name is Ceejay Gonzaga." Cyrel answered as she approached him.

Rhea was surprised when she heard the name of the young man standing in front of their door, so she gently pushed Cyrel away from the door and saw Ceejay standing in front of the door smiling.

"And what are you doing here?" Rhea asked flatly.

"I just got back from school and the final practice for the tournament started a while ago. And Sir told me to pick you because you might be late again later." Ceejay explained.

Rhea sighed, "Alright, I'll get dressed first."

Ceejay just nodded and Rhea went to her room. The girl just left the door open.

As Rhea walked to her room, she saw Cyrel standing by her door staring at her face. She was obviously observing her sister's reaction.

Rhea did well to focus her attention on the doorknob to avoid Cyrel's questioning look.

"Let your guest in." Cyrel's beginning.

"He's not a vampire sister so he won't get sunburned." Rhea answered philosophically, avoiding her sister's gaze.

Rhea was about to open the door to her room when Cyrel suddenly grabbed her hand that was holding the doorknob.

"You dota girl, the semester just started, you already have a boyfriend." Cyrel said.

Rhea briefly looked at Cyrel's hand that was holding her, then replied looking at her sister, "He's not my boyfriend. And if there is, you will be the first to know."

"I repeat, Rhea. It's not easy to support a college student." Her sister's reminder.

"I've been focusing my attention on dota, haven't I? So that I won't have any interest in boys." She explained, "Besides, don't you have work today at 9 am? It's already past 9."

"It's 9 pm, dota girl." Cyrel answered then released her hand.

When Cyrel let go of Rhea's hand, she immediately opened her room. Immediately entered and closed the door.

"I think I overplayed my game and forgot that Ceejay was going to pick me." She whispered to herself as she turned off the computer.

After he turned off the computer, she went to her closet to find something to wear. After a few minutes of scanning, she found something comfortable to wear and changed her clothes.

The girl wore a white polo shirt, blue jeans with brown doll shoes. She let down her straight chest-length hair and wore it to one side. After a few minutes of combing in front of the mirror, she left the room.

Cyrel was sitting on the sofa in the living room when Rhea passed her to the door. She looked at her sister from head to toe as she walked.

"Put on some blush on." Cyrel was still teasing her with a smile before she could leave the door.

Rhea turned a little to him then answered, "Your teasing me won't get to me."

Cyrel laughed softly then Rhea finally walked out the door. The girl left the door open so Cyrel watched the two as they walked away from her.

"Do you know what final practice is for today?" Rhea asked as they walked towards the jeep.

Ceejay just shook his head then looked at Rhea who was obviously waiting for an answer from the girl.

"Because that's screening. There's only one representative for each course." The girl explained.

"Say I'm the BS-IT representative?" said the young man.

"Why? You passed?"

"Yes." :D

"That's weird." The girl whispered to herself as she bent over thinking.

The young man stopped walking and stood in front of the girl. The girl stopped walking and looked at him, "Are you doubting my skills?"

"Did I say something?" The girl immediately answered then avoided him and continued walking.

- Rhea's POV -

It's just surprising why Ceejay passed as BS-IT representative. Must be my best friend in high school, Megan. Did anything change when I came back? I did not consult the Book of Destiny. I didn't even open it. Saint Gabrielle will scold me if I do that.

I just erased that from my mind and thought of something else. I may not be able to play properly with my thoughts on small things.

I stopped walking when I got to the jeep. I turned back when I noticed that Ceejay was not with me. I saw him panting for following me. Am I walking fast or is he just really slow?

"You walk so fast." He said. He was tired when he reached me.

"You're just slow." I said.

================================

When we arrived at the school, the students were going in and out. We quietly entered inside and went straight to ComLab3 (Computer Laboratory 3)

When we arrived, there were only a few students there so I didn't go in, I just stopped in front of the door and leaned on the side. Ceejay stopped walking when I didn't enter.

"Aren't you coming in yet?" He asked me.

"Because that's still the final screening. The winner will be my opponent." I explained to him.

"Your opponent?" He asked in surprise.

"Didn't Sir Jeff mention to you that I'm the defending champion?" I reply.

"Fine." Ceejay answered and entered ComLab.

He took his place in the unit near the CCTV. What could have come to his mind and that's where he decided to sit? There are still many vacancies.

Soon Sir Jeff arrived. It looks like Sir will be their baby sitter.

"Castino, come in first." Sir approached me as he went inside.

I also followed. I'm too early. I should be here at 1pm. It was so bored to wait.

When I stepped inside, my whole body suddenly stiffened and suddenly all the students inside, including sir, stopped moving. Time seems to have stopped.

Will an angel come down from heaven? I didn't disobey any rules and instructions. And why am I stiff too? It should be mortals, but I'm not mortal.

Soon the surroundings gradually darkened. Then Ceejay suddenly stood up, came out of ComLab and when he came out, the wirings on the ceiling, walls and even the system units sparked. All the students inside immediately startled. They screamed so loudly, I became deaf. I couldn't hear anything else but their screams that echoed in my ears causing me to close my eyes.

"Rhea.... Rhea...."

Although my hearing was dim, I could still hear someone calling me in the middle of the deafening shouting.

Until I suddenly opened my eyes. My eyes widened when Ceejay's face appeared in front of me.

"Rhea.... Rhea...." Ceejay repeatedly called me while gently shaking my shoulder.

I blankly stared at his worried look.

"Are you okay?" Ceejay continued to ask me when I did not answer.

I ignored him. I looked around the room and it was bright. All the lights are on. The condition of the wirings and system units is okay. The only thing that is not okay is that the students look at me and sir Jeff badly.

"Castino, can you surely play later?" Sir Jeff asked in surprise.

"I'm fine sir." I answered weakly.

Sir just shrugged his shoulders, "Okay, you watch over here while I'm gone. The time and auto-score are already set on the server. All you have to do is watch out if someone cheats. You'll see it flash on the server screen." Explanation of Sir.

"Is this the reason why you made me come here early?" I complain.

"Besides being late, and yes, that's it." Sir answered and then he walked towards the door and completely left. He didn't even wait for my answer.

"Are you really okay, Rhea?" Ceejay asked again when sir disappeared from the room.

"Go back to your unit." I answered irritated then went to the server that was positioned in front of them all, on the left side.

I was facing the monitor when I saw from the corner of my eyes Ceejay walking towards his unit. When he sat down in his unit, I looked at the enter key on the keyboard while thinking.

Will what I saw really happen? Probably not. If it's not going to happen, why was it shown to me? My mind is in a mess. My focus should be on the tournament first otherwise I'll lose when I think of something else.

I pressed the enter key, signaling the start of the game. Just in case, when I hit enter, all the lights suddenly went out at the same time as all the units including the server shut down. I heard the whispering of the players.

Is it brown out?

"When was there a routational brown out every screening?" I complain.

"Don't always pretend to be a VIP. So you know everything that's happening around you." Andrei, who was sitting near the server, stated.

I raised one eyebrow when I answered him, "Did I ask for your opinion?"

This man is too handsome to be stubborn and sarcastic. I was horrified by what he said.

Soon Ceejay stood up and walked towards the door.

Just wait ...

Don't say... Will what I saw happen again?? Now ???

"Wait, Gonzaga. Where are you going?" I approached him before he could even get out of the door.

As I stared at him so hard, all the students looked at me. I don't like how they look at me. I'm melting.

He automatically stopped and turned to me.

"I'll just check the fuse to see what happened." Ceejay frowned when he answered.

"No." I immediately answered after he spoke, "I'll take a look."

"It's not possible. It's too dark in the hallway. Maybe something will happen to you." He explained.

"Stop your pretend concern effect." I interrupted him as I walked towards him, "I'm going."

"Maybe we should wait for the generator to start, ma'am." Ceejay answered more defiantly.

"I'm going straight to the generating room to ask, boss." I insist.

He couldn't protest anymore when I raised an eyebrow at him. He just stepped aside and let me go out of ComLab.

Just a moment...

Am I really right to come out? Or should it really be Ceejay who is out?

As I thought, I stopped walking, a few steps from ComLab.

Wrong.....

I shouldn't go out...

Right.. I shouldn't go out. Something will be destroyed inside.

I immediately turned to the dark ComLab. Only the light of the players' cellphones serve as light inside. And when I turned around, at the same time the light came back on and all the wirings on the ceiling, walls and even the system units immediately sparked. This was followed by the loud and deafening shouting of all the players inside.

I knew it....

What a stupid creature I am..

I ran back and when I arrived, they were all in chaos with their deafening screams of fear. Some live wires fell from the ceiling directly to the computers, others to the system units which caused the fire to start slowly.

"Presence of mind, players!!" I yelled as loud as I could to get their attention, "Out!! Quick!!"

Fortunately, they heard me and were able to think clearly, and they hurried to get out even though the others still seemed crazy from shouting. And with the players rushing so much, one player passed out and it's a good thing Ceejay was behind him. So he immediately picked it up.

Ceejay was about to reach the door, picking up the unconscious girl, when he suddenly weakened and fell to his knees. His whole face was sweating. The heat inside is intensifying because of the growth of the fire.

I was approaching them to help when I saw a live wire from the ceiling falling on them. Before it hit them, I used all my strength and pulled Ceejay's hand with the girl up and around and threw them outside. I let go of Ceejay's hand exactly when the live wire fell right behind me.

I felt electricity running through my whole body causing me to stiffen and fall to the ground.

"RHEA!!" Ceejay shouted as he turned inside after I let go of his hand.

Ceejay's worried face as he ran back was the last thing I saw before my eyes went completely black...

- Cyrel's POV -

When I received a call from Sir Jeff about what happened at Rhea's school, I immediately punched out and went to the hospital where Rhea was taken.

When I arrived outside the ER, Ceejay was also there, standing by the door of the ER. As I was walking towards him, he suddenly turned to me. He seems to have noticed me coming.

"T-The doctor said that Rhea's condition is stable. She wasn't really burned by the fire. She can be discharged when she wakes up." Ceejay explained when I arrived in front of him.

I breathed a sigh of relief after hearing what he said. I was so nervous that my chest was going to explode.

"Oh, thank you." I answered comfortably.

"Nothing. I'll leave you guys for now." Ceejay said then walked away from the ER.

When he went away, I went inside. I slowly walked closer to the bed where Rhea was lying. I observed her appearance from head to toe. Her condition seems to be really good and she didn't have many injuries. I noticed that the her eyelashes moved a little bit.

I frowned as I looked at him, "You're good at Dota but you're not good at acting." I said with my arms crossed.

My artistic sister opened her eyes and looked at me, "What are you doing here?" She answered then sat on the bed.

"I've already gone undertime to check on your condition and you're still acting like that?" I answered with a frown.

"I didn't tell you." She answered philosophically then looked in another direction, "Maybe later you will blame me when you are stressed."

"You weren't really burned, but the fire had a strong effect on your behavior." Annoyed, I answered, "Because you're still acting like wonderwoman."

She automatically turned to me and looked me in the eyes with so much evil as if she was going to melt me.

And before she could insult me, I was the first to speak, "Stand up and I'm going to discharge you."

I didn't wait for his answer, I went straight to the door and was the first to leave the ER.

- Rhea's POV -

After my sister came out, I stood up and left the ER. I can wait for my sister in the waiting area while my discharge slip is taken care of.

It's because I didn't get burned in the fire even when I was electrocuted. I also don't want my sister to worry that her work might be affected. Why did Sir call him? Her work was disturbed. I know that sister is very busy. He is the only one who makes me live and educates me.

After a while, my sister came to the waiting area where I was waiting for her, carrying my discharge papers. Then we left the hospital together. Fortunately, he believed that I was okay. It was still hard for me to convince her so she made me take a taxi home while she took a jeep back to his work. It's still early and I have something to do at home when I get home.

When I got home I was horrified by the silence that greeted me. Naturally, there is no such thing as a person. My sister and I live alone. I immediately locked the front door and then went up to my room. When I entered, I immediately locked the door and went straight to the bed and sat down.

Am I really going to do it? Saint Gabrielle would surely scold me if I did. But I'll just look at it, I won't change anything. And besides, only two things were forbidden to me,

First, don't change people's fate and

Second, don't use the Book of Fate to change what is set.

I sighed. Alright. I will go to heaven first to consult and not be preached to.

When I made up my mind, I got up from the bed and went to the window. I will cheat the time first so that no one will see me.

I opened the window and put my left hand in the air and closed my eyes.

My palm gradually became brighter as the wind stopped, people walked outside and leaves fell from the tree. I opened my eyes and saw that everyone outside was frozen except for me. I jumped out the window and my bright white wings came out and I flew to the sky.

After I landed in the cloud, Prophet Isaiah first noticed my arrival.

"Welcome, little angel." He greeted.

I bowed my head in front of him in greeting.

"I know something is bothering your heart." He continued.

"That's what I came for." I politely answer.

"Try to tell the story and we'll explain."

"I was surprised because Ceejay became the representative of BS-IT. must have been my schoolmate in high school." I started, "And what surprised me the most was what happened earlier. It didn't happen when I was alive."

"I was also surprised by what I witnessed." A familiar voice made me look behind Prophet Isaiah and he also turned his back.

"Saint Gabriel." I bowed as I recognized who the angel was who was approaching us.

"But I can't be surprised because I already expected it." Saint Gabrielle continued.

I raised my face and looked at him confused, "What do you mean?"

"When an angel is given another chance by the Lord to return to earth, there is a Fallen who will be an obstacle to his return. To prevent what is destined to happen." Saint Gabrielle explained.

I frowned. Hey, I don't understand anything, "What is the Fallen?"

"An angel from heaven cast down to earth because of their dark hearts and their desire to exceed the power of the Lord." Prophet Isaiah answered.

"In other words, there is a Fallen who is interfering with your life and trying to change what is destined to happen." Saint Gabrielle continued.

"Whoever that Fallen is, I'm not afraid of him." I'm bragging.

"Don't rely on your own strength and knowledge. Moreover, the Fallen you will face are too powerful." Saint Gabrielle warned more.

"How did you say that?" I will ask.

"Only one angel has the ability to take human form and kill an angel." He hinted that it was obvious from the tone of his speech that he knew which fallen he was referring to.

I kept thinking. I have also heard about the angel with such ability, "Lucifer." I whispered.

"He's not just a legend. He's real and powerful." Prophet Isaiah said, "So always pray and trust in the Lord. That is your weapon against him."

"He will never break my faith in the Lord." I answered complacently.

"Be careful, Crista. The only thing you should believe in is the Lord and don't ever let your heart fall in love with anything on the surface of the world. Only the Lord's love is true and pure." Saint Gabrielle reminded.

Sure. Whoever you are Fallen, I will play with you. But don't try to be patient with me. Because when I met you, the Lord Almighty would forgive me for what I could do to you.
