Centuries passed. The humans forgot Ren. They only knew the Monarchs.
Ignis, the Monarch of Fire, sat on the Southern Tower. He had to feed Ren fire every day.
But fire requires fuel. Ignis ran out of wood. He ran out of coal. "The Ancestor is hungry," the seal whispered.
Ignis looked at his own people. They worshipped him. "I love my people," Ignis said. "My love is burning hot."
He realized that Emotion is the strongest fuel. Ignis reached into his chest. He pulled out his Passion. It burned like a sun. He threw his Passion into the tomb.
Ren ate it. The seal held.
But without Passion, Ignis became cold. He could no longer love his wife. He could no longer feel anger at injustice. He became a robot of ash.
