High in the night sky, Starry Wisdom (The Moon) looked down at the Nine Towers.
She smiled. "Look at them," she told the stars. "They think they have caged him. But they are just marinating him."
She saw that Ren, fed by the Aspects of the Monarchs, was mutating. He was no longer just Time. He was absorbing Fire, Gravity, Silence, Dreams.
He was becoming Chaos.
"I will help him," Starry Wisdom decided. Not out of love, but out of curiosity.
She dropped a single beam of moonlight onto the Tomb. The moonlight carried a secret: "The Seal has a crack."
The crack was not in the stone. It was in the Heart of the Monarchs. Specifically, in Umbra, the Monarch of Shadow.
