Rick felt completely animated.
He would have never believed that his worst nightmare would have come true.
He slowly walked out of the room as Mrs. Rick began to get the suspicioun, a feeling she had feared would come back.
As Rick walked out of the room putting Velmont on hold, Mrs. Rick decided to follow him.
"Do not bring the union members into this house", Rick then told Velmont as Mrs. Rick could easily see the signs of discomfort surrounding him.
"Call the visit off", Rick then added.
Unfortunate for him, he was talking with a very stubborn young man.
He told Rick that he was living in a fantasy world.
He could not afford to call all the union members back to their respective apartments.
"You have to figure a way out or face the music", Velmont harassed as he cut the call.
Rick was furious about what had happened.
Mrs. Rick on the other hand, immediately went to inquire about the union.
Soon enough, she realized that it was a collection of people that raided towns back in the day.
She also noticed that the union was dismantled a year ago almost the day when she had married Rick.
Mrs. Rick was so devastated and angry. She could not believe that Rick had being hiding this secret from her all through their marriage.
She confirmed it by checking the list of union members that have acted in the union.
To no surprise, she caught sight of Rick.
Mrs. Rick was so stunned that tears almost fell from her face, she grabbed the baby and was caught unaware when Rick stormed into the room with the phone in his hand.
Mrs. Rick as soon as she caught sight of Rick, shut the laptop and acted as though nothing had happened.
Rick could notice betrayal in the face portrayed by Mrs. Rick.
'What could be wrong with her', Rick thought to himself as he denied the fact that this was due to the hospital event.
He could not consider his wife as he had bigger problems. His union members were coming to his house to a blow a cover that had already being blown unknown to him.
He told his wife that he was leaving but got a stale face from his wife.
He only shrugged and left.
He left to Thomas house. Thomas is also known as the best adviser in the village.
He knocked on the door and greeted Thomas with respect.
Thomas let him in.
"So what brings a young gentle man like you into my home", Thomas then said politely hoping to get the problem out of Rick.
Rick hesitated and looked to face Thomas directly on the eyes.
His cold look always seemed to get the truth out of people and his wisdom could not prove different.
Thomas was calm, easy going and very respectful.
He raised the name of the neighbourhood each time he stepped his foot into the area.
His outlook might not be appealing but the man he is on the inside is one to not query about.
He once saved a cat from a burning tree and called the police afterwards, many rumours have said.
Some even said that while in school, he never cheated.
Rick himself did not believe many of the stories said by the neighbours when he first entered the village but the mindset about Thomas has changed through the years.
Some of the rumours, he still failed to believe and Thomas would not provide any answers.
He told Thomas that his union members were coming over to visit.
Thomas did not understand why or what he meant.
"I was once in a union. I never told my wife as I believed that this might end our relationship", Rick stated.
To him, the union was a cold place that murdered and succeeded in order cold things.
He believed that Mrs. Rick would not have fallen for him with such abstract behaviour.
Thomas began speaking with his usual slow but wise tone.
He told Rick that though his past might have being bad, what he does now will truly affect his state of mind.
He had noticed that he was a changed man or at least putting in his best to change.
"Your wife would understand", Thomas then told Rick watching his worry turn into a smidged smile.
Thomas insisted on Rick staying and offered him some drinks.
Rick might have gone away from his ways but how Mrs. Rick would take it still couldn't hold straight with Rick.
So many years, so many moments gone by and the news still wasn't out.
Rick couldn't wait any longer, he thought to himself that whatever happens, happens.
Rick stayed in Thomas' house for hours, maybe minutes. Enough time for his union members to have come along to his house.
Mrs. Rick heard the door bell ring and rushed to open the door.
She saw a group of men standing in front of her.
People who she had never seen before.
She supposed that this might have being the union members that Rick was talking about.
Mrs. Rick laid pale on the door. She could not move, raise her hand, talk, scream or do anything.
She just slowly closed the door when suddenly Velmont came from the crowd.
At that moment, she came back to reality.
"You're Velmont. The MC at our dedication".
"Alive and Well", Velmont said with a bow and a smile.
"Are these your friends", Mrs. Rick then queried feeling way more relieved to see Velmont.
"Something like that. More like union members though", Velmont then added.
Mrs. Rick then realized that those were the union members that Rick had said over the phone.
They didn't look as bad as she had imagined.
She explained to them that Rick wasn't home as she soon finally let them in to eat and talk, while they waited for Rick to arrive.
Mrs. Rick prepared the food as quickly as she could and soon arrived with it.
She sat down while they all chatted and thanked her for allowing her into her home.
For her, they were all being true gentle men and everyone was enjoying the experience.
Velmont on the other hand came here not to have fun, but to blow Rick's cover.
He knew that Rick was trying to hide the union from his wife so he staged the visit to sabotage him.
Unknowingly to him that Rick wouldn't even be at home.
Still, he made his first move. "You do realize that we are all part of a union", Velmont then echoed to Mrs. Rick.
Mrs. Rick suddenly paused from eating nearly choking.
"Yep, we are all a union membership and Rick was the leader of all of it", Velmont added noticing the sudden change of face gestures by Mrs. Rick.
Mrs. Rick already knew about the whole thing but was shocked hearing it confidently from Velmont.
She would have thought that Rick told all his union members to not tell anything to her.
Her face began fuming with anger, a life of no secrets was a lie and Velmont had now made it clear.
She stormed into her room as Velmont and the union continued eating and waiting on Rick.
