During the year 2687, after the growing threat of the Elra Kingdom, The United Nations decided to make elite groups that would attack the enemy. There were ten squads all of which were powerful enough to destroy most militaries. To become a member of the squads you must show your skill and bravery in battle. You choose your squad or get placed into one if you didn't pick one and there was only one squad open. The squad you get placed in if you didn't pick one would be the last reminding one or the best one for you to grow. Each squad is detached to each other, that means if squads gain or lose something no other squads will be affected. Squad captains are equal to major generals and are able to advance higher up but rarely do they do so as people try to limit them as much as they can.
As Ryuzo saw the man in front of him, he looked puzzled for a few seconds before suddenly appearing next to the former 3rd seat and placing his blade against James's neck. "Surrender." Ryuzo said in a solemn tone.
James smiled and spoke: "Do you believe I wouldn't come prepared." His tone was mocking and cocky as he had won already.
As he said this his body vanished and appeared a few meters away.
Ryuzo appeared in front of him going in for a stab to his wrist.
James vanished again and when he appeared, there were two of him.
As the two James looked at Ryuzo they shot out large spears made of moonlight shot towards Ryuzo as he slashed at the air created a wave of blazing black fire towards the two James.
They crashed together creating a burst of black flames and smokey yet calming light. As this happened Ryuzo appeared at the side of one of James, cutting off his hands before moving to the next one and stabbing his right wrist.
After getting damaged the two James turned into thin light as they disappeared.
As they disappeared three more appeared from the moonlight.
When Ryuzo saw this he sent out a wave of black flames towards the three as he raced around the area looking for something.
A few seconds later the three clones of James attacked, shooting out giant swords, spears, and beams towards Ryuzo.
As he dodged the attacks he rushed towards them cutting them in pieces and before sending a wave of shadowy flames towards the moon.
This covered the light causing the appearing four clones of James to stop and fade away as the real James appeared from the void shooting out a barrage of giant swords towards Ryuzo.
As he saw the blade fly towards him he rushed towards the center of it and jumped before landing on top of it and slashing towards James.
A wave of blazing shadowy black fire shoots towards James, cutting him in half, and burning him to ashes.
As James's body burned it emitted a faint light before exploding, making Ryuzo enhance his body and covering his eyes.
When he opened them again he saw James standing tall with a scar going around his body as if the two parts were sewed together. At this moment James spoke, his voice deep, and raspy:
"Do you believe that will work . I won't stop until every part is gone, I already made a divine vow."
"Is that so?" Ryuzo said, his tone calm and teasing as he smiled.
Before James could react Ryuzo suddenly appeared before him and unsheathed his sword, the flames around his blade seem to make a dragon as its scales cut James from the left side of his waist to the right side of his shoulder.
In the next moment, Ryuzo cut his neck with a left vertical slash, his head enveloped by shadowy fire which seemed to burn his soul, at that moment James felt his soul cut into two as it rapidly burned.
In the next second Ryuzo placed the katana into its scabbard before it disappeared into a burst black flames.
"I'm sorry, I truly didn't want to kill you. I forgive you for trying to kill me and I hope your family may be at rest after news of your death." Ryuzo spoke with a solemn tone, his face showing a true hint of guilt.
"But I had to kill you. If I didn't you would have killed me or ran away to kill the ones I care about."
As he finished speaking the moonlit night disappeared as he sat on a chair in a cafe.
A fight that costed the life of a man was seen and heard by no one.
Ryuzo grabbed his phone from his pocket and messaged someone to send a letter to James's family to tell them he had died and that Ryuzo killed him in an act of self defense.
