Many people congratulated Ray for his tournament, and many more just tried to get some of his attention. Since he was in a good mood, he just thanked anyone that wanted to talk to him and flirted with women if possible.

The whole hall was designed with gold; the walls and the painting all were made out of pure gold to show their wealth.
On the other side of the hall was Marin talking with different people and enjoying her drinks.
Ray checked the whole crowd again; he knew most of them. They were all rich people that worked for his soon-to-be company, so he had a background about most of them.
"Once I take full control of the companies, I will make these parties have fewer men invited." In a month, all of his parents' wealth would be given in full control to him; for now, Marin was in charge of it.
But two families stood out the most to him; first was Kaine with her son and husband. It was obvious that it was their first time getting into such a fancy party with how her husband looked at everything, but Kaine herself was as elegant as before.
Kaine had worn a simple long dress not showing any skin; her eyes were checking every corner.
"Why do those bastards always get to have such hot wives?" Ray whispered to himself as he saw her husband; he was shorter than her, at least by twenty centimeters, and he was so fat that he could barely see in front of him.
"I don't want to talk to those guys..." He decided for a time to find Kaine alone, so he walked to the corner of the hall, where a girl sat alone.
Ray picked two drinks from one of the maids and sat beside her: "Do you want some?"

She was about the same age as Ray, with silver hair and silver eyes; she was too gorgeous for Ray to pass.

"I'm Rose Icefang."
Icefang was a new rising star family in the business, but the girl in front of Ray was going to die in a few years.
