IN NOX'S HOUSE
When Nox arrived home, he was filled with anger; he had finally learned who killed his highly valued mentor… Yet he didn't even have the strength to take ten steps from here to there, so he threw himself onto the dusty couch in the living room, the one that clearly hadn't been cleaned for a long time, and fell asleep.
NOX'S DREAM
On a rainy day, in a crowded bar, two men were talking to each other, one of them very drunk, and the other had just sat at the table. "Where am I?" Nox was thinking to himself at that moment; even if he tried to move, he couldn't, and if he tried to say something, he couldn't, either. The only thing he could do, as if his sole purpose in that moment was to watch those two men, was to watch them… The drunk man burped first, then looked around, and finally turned to the man who had just sat beside him and was taking the first sip of his drink, and said, "Man, I'm so powerful right now… I'm literally going to wipe everyone out in here!" and laughed. After this sentence, the sober man was surprised at first, then replied, "And how is that supposed to happen?" He was smiling.
The drunk man laughed again, then leaned closer to the sober man's ear and, in a slightly quiet voice—his drunkenness obvious in the way he spoke, though Nox could still hear them clearly—said, "Dude, this drink literally sends me flying. When I drink it, I feel like the leader of the world for a moment… It's amazing!"
The sober man was surprised again, then said nothing and continued drinking. But guess what happened next? That man also got drunk and fell into the same feelings; he also approached a man who had just sat beside him and taken his first sip, and told him the same things. It was literally a cycle…
Then suddenly, the scene in front of Nox's eyes shattered, and his dead mentor appeared before him. He looked calm… And the only thing he said, in a calm tone, to himself, was: "Don't lose yourself, you're no longer Nox… You believed in the delusion of power… What you've done cannot stain Nox. Murderer. Monster."
As all this happened, Nox panicked. His mentor, whom he valued so deeply, were these really the words he was saying…? Nox let out a scream with a tone mixed with panic, and at that moment he woke up, having fallen off the couch onto the floor.
IN NOX'S HOUSE
"Ah, my back…" Nox had fallen off the couch onto his back. While on the floor, his eyes got stuck on the ceiling; he stared and stared, for minutes, and then began to think: "My mentor… Would he really think that way if he were alive…? How am I supposed to live as a soulless dog… But no! Akuon's brother… I'll take revenge on the brother I didn't even know existed… Doctridux, my mentor."
Nox was filled with extreme anger; he couldn't contain himself, but at the same time he was in such a state of mind that he didn't want to do anything. For 1 week, Nox didn't leave the house at all; he was so unwilling that he didn't move for anything except going to the bathroom or eating…
But after that 1 week, Nox finally couldn't hold back his anger anymore, and blindly left the house to go to the "Maximus Mansion." While cursing at Akuon and Akuon's brother, he headed to the door, barely able to stay balanced, slowly moving toward it, and just as he approached the door, it suddenly swung open hard toward Nox. The door struck him sharply, and since he was already not standing properly, Nox fell to the ground…
There were 5 people in front of him… Three were men wearing outfits with "Fury Cane" written on them, one… that one was a very, extremely noble-looking adult, with the same emblem Akuon had on his clothes. And behind that man… was Lilianne, the girl he once adored, the one he once loved to death… Nox's eyes widened in shock as he stared at Lilianne… On top of that, Lilianne was smiling, looking at Nox…
At that moment, Nox had an outburst of rage, and without even knowing what he was doing, he attempted to attack the three men in front of him, but before he could even understand where it came from, he was struck on the head and knocked out…
INSIDE A LARGE SHIP, BEHIND IRON FENCES
Nox slowly opened his eyes and looked around; the place was filled with men… men who looked dangerous… Nox was trying to understand where he was, and at the same time he was burning with the desire for revenge, thinking he couldn't waste time here and searching for an escape route… At that moment, the events returned to his mind: those three men—yes, they were guards from Fury Cane Prison… the same prison where his mentor once worked.
But why were they on a ship?
As Nox wondered about this, he saw an iron bar in front of him, and behind him a staircase. When he turned around, he saw a small, round window… When he looked outside the window, the only thing he saw was an island with enormous walls… Yes, Fury Cane Prison was outside the continent where the country was located; this way criminals had fewer chances to escape, and the country was more peaceful…
But the prison was not only on an island; almost the entire island itself was Fury Cane Prison… No other method could hold all the criminals in the world…
After about 30–40 minutes, the ship docked at the island. Then, after a few minutes, several guards came to the cell where Nox and the other men were and began reading names one by one, calling them to the front. When Nox's turn came: "Noctiviel Statera."
Nox didn't receive this name very fondly… because he only used it when he was in nothingness, when he had no one, and once he met his mentor, he became Nox…
Nox approached the guard. "Noctiviel Statera, age 16, you will be 17 in a few months… Birthplace, outside the capital and… hmm… You're imprisoned for murder, and since you are a Shinyubi user, you will receive special treatment… You will serve your sentence in region N…" said the guard.
Nox was shocked hearing this; all sorts of thoughts were running through his mind… How did they find Akuon's body, even though he had hidden it so well? And even if they did find the body, how did they immediately suspect Nox and confirm this information with certainty…?
As Nox stared in disbelief, the guard exhaled with boredom and said, "Move already, kid, they'll put the Anti-Shinyubi bracelet on you at the region entrance." Then, when Nox stood still for a few more seconds, the guard grabbed him by his clothes and pushed him toward the path he was supposed to take… at that moment, Nox's clothes tore a little.
Nox's mind was a complete mess; how had all of this—this entire capture—happened? And what was the Anti-Shinyubi bracelet…?
Nox walked forward with heavy steps into the unknown, his head still swirling with huge questions, doing nothing but following the path the guards showed him with slow, heavy steps.
