Lara's POV
Alpha Percy radiates an energy that feels almost overwhelming. There's no softer way to describe the man standing before me.
"I know what it means to feel isolated around the Murphy better than anyone here. Before Alpha Damon and Luna Coco brought me into their family at fifteen, I lived as an only child. My parents were gone, and suddenly Aaron was my brother. You've probably figured out we're completely different people. The Murphy can be loud and chaotic, but their love for family runs deeper than anything I've ever experienced. They might seem like a lot at first, but I promise you they're worth every overwhelming moment."
His words carry weight, and though his intensity remains, something shifts when he spots his mate approaching. The stern expression he wore during our conversation melts away completely.
"Alpha Lara, you'll stay for lunch with us, won't you?" Luna Henderson asks as she joins our group.
