Percy's POV
When Deryl disappeared into the packhouse during morning warrior training, I immediately noticed someone was absent from our ranks. Usually I begin the session while he handles any stragglers who need encouragement to drag themselves out of bed. So his departure to collect the missing wolves didn't surprise me. What did catch me off guard was seeing Wyatt emerge from the building. He thrives on warrior training sessions. The chance to throw punches and take hits gets his blood pumping, so tardiness isn't his style.
'Alpha, we've got a situation,' Deryl's voice cuts through the mind link as he rejoins me at the front of our assembled warriors. I'm leading them through warm-up exercises.
'What kind of situation?'
'Caught him running his mouth at Luna,' he reports.
Usher snarls with fury, and every head in the training group snaps toward me.
'Henderson's unharmed?'
