The scent hit me like a thunderbolt. Rich and earthy with undertones of leather and smoke that should have felt masculine but instead wrapped around my senses like liquid amber. Buck went absolutely wild in my mind, clawing at my consciousness and nearly sending me sprawling across the dormitory floor in his desperate need to find the source.
When I finally laid eyes on her, she was everything her scent promised and more. Auburn hair cascaded down her back like molten copper, framing a face with striking blue-grey eyes that seemed to hold secrets. Beneath that intoxicating fragrance was something else that made my blood sing with recognition. Alpha.
