Percy's POV
I make my way back down the corridor toward our office wing, carrying the plate I'd prepared. Stepping into Deryl's office, I set it down in front of him with a deliberate thud.
"Seems like you've caught someone's attention," I comment, watching his reaction carefully.
A smile crosses his face, but he doesn't take the bait. Instead, he deflects with practiced ease.
"How's our Luna settling in?"
"Better than expected. I gave her carte blanche with the pack hospital renovation. Just so we're clear on this - if something happens to me, she has complete authority over that project."
Deryl's eyebrows lift slightly. "You want me to ensure she knows she has total autonomy over whatever changes she wants to make?"
"She could tear the entire building down and rebuild from scratch if that's what she decides. I don't care what it costs or how long it takes."
He studies me for several long moments. "You realize our warriors will never set foot in there willingly."
