It would still be better to have my own VPN service. But I currently don't have the capability.
So instead I will just have to rely on what I can get and keep control of.
But like usual I will wait until tomorrow to start any of this.
Just in case anyone was wondering. I don't just leave the AI idle all night. I have been letting it slowly download files all night to really maximize the experience gained. Even if it is only a few points.
…
Thursday the 9th.
A little rainy to start the day.
It has been a while since it last rained so I went outside to check on the satellite, solar panel, and the battery.
Out of them all, only the battery had me a little worried. So I grabbed a trash bag and covered the top of it.
A pretty perfect fit.
The satellite and solar panel were working just fine with no problems.
Both obviously had some efficiency problems but no mechanical issues. They were working as designed.
Perfect.
Back inside and a little damp, I get my breakfast and sit down at my desk. Ready to try "real" hacking.
I pull up the AI user interface and get the configuration set up then copy and paste the website url. Ready to begin.
Click start.
With the sound of the fan turning a little faster just like the spinning loading wheel, the hacking started.
…
Just 30 seconds later I was in.
Miraculously. I was in, in just 30 seconds.
That is some unreal speed.
But it happened. It really happened.
I felt the flood of excitement and adrenaline as I could see the future spreading endlessly in front of me.
The possibilities, they seemed truly endless.
I didn't even know what to do with myself. Yell, scream, cheer? I didn't know. But I knew I was happy, just vibrating with excitement.
I threw my fists into the air and lightly cheered, "Yes!".
I am not one for loud exclamations or a show of emotion. So the fact that I did even this much really shows just how happy I am.
Enough with the celebrations I need to get back to work.
Time for the next step, but which to take.
The browser, satellite, or internet provider?
The browser seems like the easiest of the group.
Then what?
It seems pretty 50 - 50 for the remaining.
The satellite's company doesn't have a very professional public face.
But similarly my internet provider often has outages due to bugs or other problems which is not very professional either.
I have decided on the first target so I shan't hesitate. Once a decision has been made, hesitation serves no purpose.
I set up the AI again and then enter the download site url for the browser.
The moment that changes everything.
Start.
…
5 minutes.
An agonizing amount of time.
I decided to go for a safety first approach, it takes more time but there is less risk of discovery.
Which paid off. Once the 5 minutes were completed I was in. I had full admin access to the entire browser server system.
I immediately had my access hidden, I set it to auto erase all traces of my actions, so that there would be no logs, no data trail. That way no one would ever know I was there, or still am.
Now I search for my IP and all data related to me.
Once that was pulled up I was shocked at what I saw.
I had already been flagged. A few times at that.
They had noted that I had been downloading a lot of data. Especially data related to code and hacking. Which had flagged me as a person of interest, someone to keep an eye on.
Crap.
I need to see what the internet provider has on me before I make any changes. Because I need them to correlate everything from site to time to download amount. I also need to see if they have already transferred my data to another entity like the FBI or the NSA.
Crap, crap, crap.
I quickly enter the internet providers website url into the AI user interface.
Go go go!
…
15 minutes later. Now THAT was a rough wait.
Something I realized while I was waiting was that I was using the browser as an intermediary to hack into both servers through their website. So I was using the VPN that was built into the browser. But that also meant that the browser was tracking me.
It saw that I was connecting to the service provider. So I quickly had the connection camouflaged as a connection to something else. I don't want another thing flagged.
I have finally gotten admin access for the internet service provider, so like the last time I hid my traces.
As I pull up my IP I see a very concerning sight.
My IP flagged for investigation.
Which means that the FBI has already been sent my file to be reviewed.
Oh, no. This is bad.
This is really bad, what if they show up and take me away?
Wait.
What crime did I commit before today?
Nothing, I think?
I pull up the file they created about me.
While looking into the file I realize that this might not be a bad thing. Certainly not a good one but not bad either.
The file only contains concerns related to the amount of data related to hacking I was downloading. Not only that the priority was low, like the bottom of the barrel.
So there may be the most minor of monitoring. But from this point on I could make my internet history whatever I wanted it to be.
I can't make it anything too out of the ordinary for me but I could definitely do things to ease their worries.
I could make a few Foolgles about writing a book or colleges related to coding. Things like that to help explain my previous history.
I can't change the history because it has already been sent to a 3rd party I am not ready to tango with.
I will not be hacking the FBI. Especially if I don't have to.
