Sakazuki chanted his philosophy as he continued his attack on Saul who was holding on for dear life.
"Ughh–Ugck." Saul choked on his own blood. Holding Sakazuki's magma fist, ignoring the fact that his hands are being melted alive.
"G-Go...I-I'll hold him back."
A few feet away from the circumstances, Ramos and Aokiji were dueling in the sky, ice spikes being shot at the younger Marine, who was dodging them while using Geppo. He attacked with Rankyaku kicks but every strike, Aokiji would either freeze and repel or vanish from his position and appear behind him to try and freeze him.
"There's no use in this battle, just give up and your punishment won't be severe. Aokiji stated that, through each attack, he blocked effortlessly.
Ramos, on the other hand, was barely holding on, his legs burned from constant use of the moon walk and spamming leg slashes.
"Why are you stopping him from helping them Kuzan? We're Marines...we help people, not kill the innocent!"
"The world isn't as black-and-white as you think. We Marines serve the government and Celestial Dragons above all other duties." He repeated it like the law.
Ramos smeared at the statement, "So the World government ordered this attack? Are we just lap dogs to them!" Ramos spat out. Blocking another barrage of ice spikes.
"It's the burden of wearing the badge."
"To hell with that!" Ramos balled his fist, mimicking an attack Garp showed him once.
His fist was coated in black with faint red lining.
"Impossible!" Aokiji was shocked at the Haki blooming. In the split second of distraction, Ramos vanished and landed the punch to his face. Aokiji was sent flying to a nearby building.
Crash
Ramos turned his attention to the screams of the girl as Sakazuki was looming over them with his magma fist. The look of fear on the girl's and her mother's faces reminded him of Rouge. His failure to help her during her pregnancy or during Ace's birth. A burst of energy surged in him as he used all his tension to kick the air, moving at a new speed.
Zoom!
Ramos was heading towards Sakazuki, bashing both fists back, as the speed he burst through the sky ignited his arms, ignoring the pain he continued his pursuit.
"Red Hawk!" He yelled, thrusting his fist to punch Sakazuki, and he turned towards him.
Ramos attacked the Vice-Admiral's face, creating a shock wave that moved the boat with the Buster call witness forward, being transported by the waves. Ramos felt his hands burning as his flames were consumed by Sakazuki 's superior heat. Lying on the grass, hands scorched and barely functioning he could only stare up at the magma man, slowly approaching him, the heat radiating from his body was his warning of the impending pain.
"You disobeyed direct orders, attacked your superiors, and assisted in the escape of the witnesses. You'll be marked for your actions boy." He extended his magma arm,to touch Ramos, the boy could only freeze at the slow motion assault.
"Aaaaaaah..." Ramos's screech of pain, travelled across the island, the sound died out as the canon balls continued their destruction.
Medical bay, Marineford
"His lucky to be alive Vice-Admiral Garp. The burn on his his nearly burned his organs. The doctor explained, looking at the body of the bandaged up boy, heart monitor, beeping in indication of his survival of the incident.
"You can try to talk to him,but I thought his conscious. The doctor, exhaled before leaving the room.
Garo stood over Ramos's bed,fist turning white and grinding his teeth to near shattering. " Damn brat...why did you have to be stubborn like my own kid." He growled.
Eyes on the boy he grew fond of over the months of their training. "You better survive brat, I can't scold Ace by myself. "He chuckled, exhaustion evident in his tone.
Ramos was unresponsive to a y of Garp's words,chest raising slowly, as his mummified form was near life and death. And despite all that his eyebrows twitched.
Garp noticing the movement, left his jaw slightly open,"Ramos?"
"Mmp-mmph." Ramos grumbled. Eyes darted to Garp. Trying to communicate through blinks.
"What are yoy saying kid?"
"Mhmph-Mhmff". Incoherent sounds was heard through his bandages.
Ramos mind:
"I'm going to kill Sakazuki. "

His conquerors haki,travelled across the Medical bay, doctors, nurses and patients, passing out from his will. Some Marines where left on one knee at the outstanding force.
"Oi! Stop flaring your brat!" Garp shouted. "Even near death,you still use that ability –you idiotic kid!"
Despite the Marine hero's words, Ramos sole focus was one day, breaking Sakazuki's jaw with his fist. 'You and Aramaki are you going to be my stepping stools to reach Fleat Admiral status.
