Omni Verse Episode 5
After defeating Jojo and Lou,
Pugo, Stardust, and Leonardos wake up in the hospital again, covered in strange fluids.
Stardust starts crying in a funny way:
Stardust: "Aaaah, we're here again?! Next time after training I'm calling a taxi. Monsters keep showing up nonstop!"
Leonardos and Pugo stare at him in confusion. Leonardos can't take it anymore and lightly punches Stardust.
Leonardos: "Enough! Do I have to deal with this every time I end up here?!"
Pugo speaks with a funny sad expression:
Pugo: "I was wishing I had woken up in another room this time…"
Suddenly someone enters. It's Jogu. Pugo sees him immediately.
Pugo: "Haaa! Mr. Jogu!"
Jogu: "Ah, I heard you were in the hospital, so I decided to visit."
Pugo: "You did great! Thank you so much for coming!"
Stardust suddenly jumps in:
Stardust: "Who's this old guy with the ponytail?!"
Pugo: "Mr. Jogu is the person I met at the village tower. He bought me a drink and taught me the history of the universes."
Leonardos: "Then how did he know we were here?"
Jogu overhears them and answers:
Jogu: "Actually, I didn't know. The nurse called me because I had posted an announcement with a reward for anyone who could find you."
Leonardos: "Why did you want to find us so badly? You even offered a reward?"
Stardust proudly interrupts:
Stardust: "Of course he came! We defeated two monsters—we're famous now. He's probably a fan!"
Jogu looks confused.
Jogu: "Um… not exactly. And I'm not here as a fan. Besides, nobody else knows you defeated those monsters. The village chief is the one who sent me."
Pugo: "Why would the chief call for us?"
Leonardos: "Maybe he'll warn us about danger or give advice."
Pugo: "I don't think so. Yes, the chief cares about his people, but he doesn't go around giving warnings. He's too busy."
Stardust: "Whatever, let's go find out."
Pugo: "Agreed."
Jogu: "I'll pick you up when you recover."
Pugo: "Okay."
A few days later, the trio leaves the hospital. Jogu is waiting with a spaceship, shocking Pugo, Leonardos, and Stardust.
Stardust: "Woah! A spaceship?! These are super expensive! How did you get it?!"
Pugo: "Mr. Jogu, no offense, but… how did you buy a spaceship just from selling coffee?"
Jogu laughs.
Jogu: "Hahahaha! It's not mine. I rented it. The chief talked to the seller and said I could rent it."
Leonardos: "So the chief is really influential…"
Jogu: "Very. Now hop in, let's go."
Pugo and Stardust jump in immediately; Leonardos follows. Jogu starts the ship and the long journey begins.
Stardust: "Waaah, this spaceship is awesome!"
Pugo: "If I become a samurai and make money, I'll buy one even bigger than this! The most expensive one!"
Jogu: "I hope you do. Believe in yourself."
Leonardos thinks to himself:
"Wow… he really seems like a wise man. Maybe he'll help us master our techniques."
Then aloud:
Leonardos: "Mr. Jogu, all three of us used our techniques. How do we master them now?"
Jogu is surprised.
Jogu: "You… used techniques?"
Stardust proudly:
Stardust: "Yes! Though my technique is the strongest. Leonardos and Pugo's aren't bad either."
Leonardos and Pugo look confused.
Jogu: "So you discovered the second core of Samurai arts. Impressive! You're progressing well."
After a long journey, they finally reach the tower. They climb to the top and meet the village chief, Joro, an elderly man with a ninja hat and white robes, a playful personality.
Joro: "Welcome, young warriors!"
Pugo: "Thank you, sir."
Suddenly Joro yells:
Joro: "Aaaah! There's a giant poisonous snake behind the kid with yellow hair!"
Stardust panics hilariously:
Stardust: "Aaaah! Snake?! Where?!"
Joro bursts out laughing.
Joro: "Just kidding! Ahahahaha!"
Leonardos and Pugo laugh too.
Pugo finally asks:
Pugo: "Why did you call us, sir?"
Joro: "Because of your accomplishment. You defeated three monsters total, which makes you impressive."
Stardust: "Really?! You liked us? You're going to make us samurai, right? Yes!!"
Leonardos interrupts:
Leonardos: "Sorry to disappoint you, but three monsters isn't enough to become samurai."
Joro laughs:
Joro: "Hahahaha! Who said I'd make you samurai? I admire your monster victories, but what I like most is your technique usage—and your teamwork."
Pugo: "Our teamwork? You mean our coordination?"
Joro: "Most young fighters team up because they're forced to. But you three truly protect each other. That's rare. So I have an offer."
Leonardos: "What offer?"
Joro: "A kind of test."
Pugo: "A test? But we already have training tomorrow."
Joro: "Is your training about real giant monsters?"
Stardust: "What monsters?"
Joro: "Jogu, please open the cave."
Jogu opens the cave, and a giant monster emerges.
The trio stares in fear.
Joro: "All I want is for you to bring me the box inside. If you succeed, I'll make you an official group, give you a team name, allow you to recruit others, and reward you with gold."
Leonardos: "Guys, I think we should do it. Pugo, freeze the monster with your time technique. Stardust, distract it and deal light damage. Then I'll finish it with my final technique. We'll get the box and earn everything. Okay?"
Pugo: "Honestly… I don't think it's that easy."
Stardust: "Still, let's try!"
Pugo: "…Alright. Let's do it."
They enter the cave. The monster appears. They're scared, but try to look brave.
Leonardos charges, but the monster hits him and throws him aside. Stardust hesitates and can't attack. Pugo gathers courage and fights; they exchange blows, but eventually the monster throws Pugo high up. Stardust closes his eyes and attacks blindly, managing to wound the monster.
Then Leonardos appears and uses his technique:
Leonardos: "Flame Technique: Fire Hurricane!"
Flames pierce the monster's stomach, but it survives and strikes Leonardos again.
Stardust uses his technique:
Stardust: "Star Technique: Star Burst!"
He hits the monster more than six times, but it heals and knocks Stardust back, cutting his chin. Still, he stabs the monster.
Leonardos continues fighting but becomes exhausted and injured. The monster prepares to finish him, but Pugo steps in.
Pugo: "Time Technique: Rewind Time!"
He freezes the monster with his sword's energy.
Pugo positions himself, leaps forward, and strikes the monster in the heart, defeating it.
Leonardos is amazed by Pugo's strength. Stardust gets up and congratulates him.
Stardust: "Yes, Pugo! You did it! Well done!"
Leonardos: "For real… great job. I'm glad you beat it."
Pugo: "Thanks. Now let's grab the box and take it to the chief."
They run back with the box—but Joro and Jogu are gone. Feeling late, Pugo opens the box. Inside is gold and a letter.
Written by the chief:
"Your team name will be Warriors because you deserve it.
I knew you would defeat the monster and retrieve the box.
Inside is 1500 gold.
Enjoy it and build your team.
Your next mission begins with Lady Mariana."
—Joro
The trio tears up after reading it and sends Joro a thank-you message.
Pugo then speaks like a true leader:
Pugo: "Alright, Warriors. Our next goal is to find Lady Mariana, learn the mission, and expand our team. Understood?"
Stardust & Leonardos: "Yes!"
Pugo: "Who are we?!"
Leonardos, Pugo & Stardust: "THE WARRIORS!"
New team warriors
