Omni Verse – Episode 4
After Jojo and Lou appeared, a sudden battle broke out. Pugo, Leonardos, and Stardust immediately attacked. Leonardos and Pugo targeted Lou first.
Lou created waves with his clown hammer to push them away, but Leonardos and Pugo skillfully avoided being hit. Pugo moved his sword closer to Lou and applied force toward the side of his heart. He thought he had pierced it, but Lou's muscular body minimized the effect. The sword hurt him but didn't cut his heart.
Lou struck Pugo with his hand, causing blood to spill from Pugo's mouth and throwing him backward. Leonardos tried to strike with his sword, only lightly wounding Lou's abdomen. Lou countered with his clown hammer, sending Leonardos flying. Lou still held the upper hand.
Meanwhile, Jojo attacked Stardust with a giant pair of scissors. Stardust defended himself with his sword but was clearly scared.
Stardust: "Ah! What is this? Such a huge scissor! If it grabs me, I'm done for!"
Jojo: "Don't worry. I'll make sure you really feel it."
Jojo then pulled clown explosives out of his bag. Stardust tried not to show fear, but Jojo threw the explosives toward him. Stardust sliced them with his sword, thinking he had avoided them, but they still exploded. Stardust was affected, and Jojo laughed.
Jojo: "Hahaha! What's wrong? Hurt by my explosives? Hahaha!"
Stardust thought:
"This clown is really good… His weapons too. He doesn't seem smart, but he's cunning. How can I defeat him?"
Meanwhile, Lou continued his wave attacks with the hammer. Pugo and Leonardos avoided the waves but still couldn't get close because of the strong repelling force. They tried everything. Leonardos suddenly threw a stone sneakily. Lou tried to deflect it, but Leonardos appeared in front of him and slashed his eye with his sword. Lou quickly healed, furious, and unleashed massive waves toward Leonardos. Leonardos was slightly affected, his hand bleeding, and he was thrown backward.
Just as Lou prepared to laugh at Leonardos, Pugo struck his head, splitting Lou's head in two. Lou became even angrier and attacked Pugo with his hammer, but Pugo dodged.
Dialogue:
Pugo: "I'm exhausted, but in the end, you'll tear my heart out."
Lou: "You must read too many comic books, kid."
Lou attacked again. Pugo dodged and cut Lou's fingers. Lou's fingers bled, but he retaliated with a wave, injuring Pugo's abdomen. Still, Pugo stood firm.
Pugo: "Ah! I can't believe I didn't see that strike… such a painful weapon."
Lou (smiling): "We told you not to mess with us. You may have forced me, but you will still die."
Pugo attacked quickly. Lou responded, but Leonardos blocked Pugo's attack with his sword. The two fought Lou fiercely. Meanwhile, Stardust continued dodging Jojo's attacks. Suddenly, he jumped and sliced Jojo's nose with his sword. Jojo healed immediately and kicked Stardust backward. Jojo pulled a long stick from his bag and began striking Stardust, leaving bruises and blood.
Just as Jojo prepared his final blow, Stardust remembered his childhood, playing with his father Sidori.
Flashback – Stardust's Childhood:
Sidori: "Come here, Stardust! I'll catch you!"
Young Stardust: "Hehe, you're not fast enough, Dad!"
Sidori caught him, and Stardust began to cry.
Sidori: "Why are you crying?"
Stardust: "Because I can't win at tag against you."
Sidori: "Sometimes people feel inadequate, not because of their strength, but because they give up."
Stardust: "What do you mean?"
Sidori: "I'm better than you because you never tried other ways. If you ran with all your strength, you could have challenged me and tired me out."
Stardust was surprised, smiled, and then ran extremely fast. Sidori couldn't catch him. Stardust's training ended, and he held his sword ready to fight Jojo.
Stardust: "So, what now? Couldn't finish me?"
Jojo: "No… how?"
Stardust: "Because I never gave up, I didn't bow to you, and I didn't allow you to finish me. Now I'll finish you. I'm combining my anger and the joy of defeating you. Now…"
Stardust: "Star Technique!"
Stardust glowed with golden light.
Stardust: "Star Explosion!"
He launched like a shooting star, and Jojo couldn't escape. Stardust hit Jojo, creating a massive yellow explosion. Jojo's body turned to ashes from the energy blast. Stardust won, but collapsed from exhaustion.
Now it was Lou's turn. Lou mourned his brother's death, shedding tears, but quickly regained his composure for revenge.
Pugo: "Well done, Stardust!"
Leonardos: "You're amazing!"
Lou still overpowered Leonardos and Pugo. Exhausted, they struggled as Lou charged destructively toward them. Leonardos thought it was the end, but Pugo tried a new technique.
Pugo: "Oh… now feel the emotion."
His sword began to glow.
Pugo succeeded, activating the technique:
Pugo: "Time Technique—Stop!"
He threw the sword's energy at Lou. Lou froze, shocked. Pugo, exhausted, collapsed and said:
Pugo: "Leonardos… it's your turn. I froze him, and Stardust defeated Jojo. Everything now depends on you."
Leonardos hesitated.
Leonardos: "But I don't know how to use a technique… I'm not sure I can do it."
Pugo (smiling): "You can. The secret is to ignite the emotion in your heart with all sincerity. Understand?"
Flashback – Leonardos' Childhood:
Young Leonardos: "Back in the Flame Universe, I always trained with my father using swords."
During one training session, Leonardos was matching his father stroke for stroke, but suddenly his father knocked him to the ground.
Young Leonardos (angrily): "Hey! That's cheating! You're bigger than me!"
Leonardos' Father: "If you enter samurai training, your teacher would do the same… or even a creature."
Young Leonardos (refusing): "I'd say no! I can beat them! Even if you didn't cheat, I'd win. But you are cheating."
Father (calmly): "Fine… then you tell me, what's cheating?"
Young Leonardos (frustrated): "Uh… well… you know."
Father: "Leo, here's some advice."
Young Leonardos (angrily, in a funny way): "Don't call me Leo! How many times have I told you? It embarrasses me."
Father: "Maybe you always want to win and hate losing, but still… lose or win as yourself. Don't turn into Leo when you lose, because that will bring you down more."
Young Leonardos thought deeply.
Father: "Alright, let's end this for now. One more round."
Young Leonardos (smiling, determined): "Haha, I, Samurai Leonardos, will defeat you as a samurai! And if I lose, I'll accept it like a samurai."
His father stood proudly.
Father: "That's my son. Let's start."
Leonardos remembered this moment and smiled.
Leonardos: "As my father said, I'll always be myself. I'll combine my past happiness and my hatred for this element… and defeat him."
Lou (angrily): "Did you say that to me?"
Leonardos: "Yes. Now I'll take you to where Stardust sent your brother."
Lou became furious and struck with full force, sending massive waves toward Leonardos. Leonardos, with a confident stance, raised his sword.
Leonardos: "Now it's my turn. Flame Technique—Flame Tornado!"
A burning tornado erupted from his sword, cutting through Lou's technique. Lou was defenseless, unable to counter. The technique lifted him toward the trees and exploded. Lou burned and then detonated, creating a massive orange explosion.
Finally, Lou and Jojo were defeated. Leonardos relaxed on the grass, smiling at a photo of his father in the clouds.
Leonardos: "I did it, Dad."
Stardust: "Oh… finally, he did it! Aaah, I'm going to faint… but at least I smiled."
Pugo, with closed eyes, smiled:
Pugo: "You're a legend, Leonardos."
The three heroes laughed happily.
