Chapter 156: The Clone's Sneak Attack
Ten ninja from Konoha and Yugakure were pursuing nine Hidden Mist rogue ninja.
The rogue leader noticed the enemies scattering. He formed hand seals. Three Water Clones appeared around him. They dispersed in different directions.
Renjiro noticed the Water Clones and also formed hand seals. Three shadow clones appeared. They pursued the Water Clones.
Renjiro didn't worry about this. His chakra was much greater than the leader's.
Moreover, he was confident that the Water Clones wouldn't interfere with his students' battles. As for the Yugakure ninja, he didn't care much.
The first to catch up to his prey was Kaito. Kaito was the second person in the group to use Body Flicker. Only Renjiro was faster than him.

Kaito's enhanced Great Breakthrough struck the Water Clone's attack.
Although the Water Clone's jutsu was higher ranked, the Water Clone's chakra reserves were very limited.
After all, the leader created it for a sneak attack, not a head-on assault.
The Great Breakthrough tore through the water attack, dispersing the stream. The Water Clone immediately used another jutsu, Water Release: Water Prison.
The Great Breakthrough hit the Water Prison, knocking it back a bit, but the water sphere held firm.
