Chapter 9 - Chapter 9. Cursed Player(4)

I went deep into the forest while waiting for him to return.

The nature in this game was better than every game.

I could hear chirping of birds, I could see various kinds of insects which only exists in the webnovel.

I could feel the cold gust of wind.

I could hear the trees sound.

But for some reason, no bird, no insect would come near me.

They would maintain a distance from me as if I was a demon. For some reason, they were feeling an evil aura from me.

And I had a guess, it was my 'Cursed Player' title which was doing it.

From being a nerdy gamer to being scared for my life, my life turned into something else.

From having a loving family to being totally alone. The time never loves anyone, it just pass as it wants.

I sat on a stone and beneath my legs the fallen leaves were making crackling sound as I walked over them.

I sat there for around 10 minutes and then decided to go back to the elf village.

The world looked so beautiful to me but also ruthless. At any moment anyone could attack me and I could die and no one even know how I died in the real world.

If only there was a way to tell the outsiders about my situation, if only I could make other understand my situation and spare me but of course they won't.

And even if they do, I don't think so few will still spare me.

I was scared while going back to the village, I was depressed, I was stressed.

After walking for around 2 minutes, I arrived back in the village and found that man looking for me in that same area where he gave a speech to the crowd.

He looked towards me and with a worried smile came running to me.

He stopped at half a meter away from me and asked while breathing heavily, "Where did you go? "

I saw his worried expressions and with a guilt replied, "I am sorry, I just went walking into the forest. "

He exhaled a deep breath and replied, "Oh, it's okay. Well, I talked to the elders and they wants to meet you. "

Something I didn't expect. I expected a direct rejection but for them to go out of their way and meet me, that was something totally unexpected.

Before I could arrive at a conclusion, that man said, "I told them that you saved my daughter and our elf brothers and they were happy to hear that. "

Good deeds do help you in your life. Something my father told me long ago and I could see it becoming real now.

I replied with a smile, "It will be an honor to meet the elders of this village, sir. "

He gave a nervous laugh and while waving both his hands replied, "Don't call me sir, you can call me Elwyn.

Elwyn, a fitting name for an elf I would say. Some might have problem pronouncing it but it is what it is.

I said, " Alright, Elwyn. "

He gave a very relaxing smile and replied, "Well, follow me. It's not good to make elders wait. "

I nodded and we both walked to the elders' house.

I looked around on my way and this village was indeed pretty. The crimson trees were making this village even more beautiful. The house designs, the elves, the nature, the land, everything was doing it's own work in making this village more pretty.

I could also feel the some complicated gazes of few elves for me. They probably had hatred for me.

After walking for few more seconds, we finally arrived infront of the building elders' were present in.

It was a tall building with cylinderical design but the ground floor's walls were more thick than that of the first floor. At the top was a round roof which was slopy at the edge. The walls were lime colored while the roof was of black stone.

There was a wooden double door infront of me which was slightly taller than me and around 1.5 meter above it was window without any panel or anything.

Elwyn opened the door and the ground floor was beautifully decorated.

There was a dark green carpet on the ground.

This building didn't cover much of the area as the ground floor was the kitchen of the building. There was a sink, the cooking area, a fridge and cabinets and all.

There was also a wooden staircase leading to the first floor and we climbed it.

On the first floor was the meeting area of the elders.

The first floor had a big table on the centre and surrounding the table were many chairs and on the five chairs were the five elders sitting.

The one who had the most authority was at sitting at the biggest chair while others were at slightly small opposite to each other.

The one sitting at the biggest chair had a big lime colored beard and moustache and long hairs. His eyes were closed with many wrinkles on his face. He was sitting with his hands crossed.

While the other four didn't have a beard or any hairs on their face. They only had long lime colored hairs and they were also sitting with their hands crossed but eyes opened.

They all wore long dressed other elves wore.

Their presence was making me sweat. I could feel their pressure on this village.

Elwyn bowed and said, "I have brought the man, elders. "

Following him, I bowed too.

The elder with beard didn't open his eyes, while others looked at me.

He was the strongest elf of this village and the outer world called him 'Yggdrasil Of The Forest Elves' and his name is 'Eryndor'

The one sitting on his right hand was 'Vaelion' and is known as 'Brave Heart Of The Forest Elves'.

The one sitting on the right hand side of Vaelion was 'Caladorn', 'Light Of The Forest Elves'.

The one sitting on the left hand side of Eryndor was 'Fynral', 'Wise Sage Of Forest Elves'.

The one sitting on the left hand side of Fynral was 'Thylaris', 'Monster Of The Forest Elves. '

I looked at them with admiration and then my heart stopped beating for a second because I could feel it, the gaze of Eryndor on me, he slightly opened his eyes and now was scratching his long beard.
