The bear sudenly froze as if under the effect some technique. Before falling down, its transformation cancelled.
Shintoki had hypnotise it with his Ketsuryugan knocking it out.
"What the hell just happened?" asked Anko.
"I simply put it to sleep" shintoki stated casualy.
Seeing the bear fall to his Ketsuryugan genjutsu Shintoki wasn't the least surprised.
Despite being inferior to the advanced form of Sharingan also known as the Mangekyo, when it comes to pure genjutsu the Ketsuryugan's genjutsu ever rival or even surpass the three tomoe Sharingan granting its user at least jounin level power when it comes to genjutsu.
Later with Tsume, the now defeated bear was before Tsume. With its defeat the matter of food disappearing on every livestock in Konoha was settled.
"Ha... as expected of the moon bear. A rare species," said an elderly woman from the Inuzuka clan.
Contrary to Tsume's conclusion this elder rejected the claim that the bear might be a mutant from the forest of death; instead this bear is stated to be a rare species rumored to have been extinct.
Now how it reappeared near Konoha is a mystery. But it's said that they possess some form of space power and are also capable of turning invisible. But this is all but a myth; besides the invisibility the bear didn't show any other ability. As for their name moon bear it's related to their transformation when they absorb the moon energy.
The old woman then looked at Tsume as if telling her to keep this secret or else some people with bad intention might want to exploit this bear.
"Ok elder, I will only report that it's a mutant bear."
At that the elder nodded before looking at the now docile bear.
Ever since it woke up it apologized for the trouble it caused and accepted punishment.

"Good work Shintoki and Anko. You solved this crisis for us."
Suddenly the bear jolted awake and shaken surprising even Tsume.
They were preparing to incapacitate it again when the bear noticed Shintoki and showed fear.
Whatever it saw in the genjutsu must have been traumatizing.
The bear then apologized to everyone and Tsume checked his injury.
Shintoki asked Tsume to keep the bear since otherwise it doesn't have anywhere to go.
But Shintoki also warned the bear. If it caused trouble again he will kick his ass.
No work no food.
Then the bear started to shrink to a smaller size.
"Shintoki wait you can shrink all this time? So now it makes sense, no wonder the tunnel was so small."
Everyone else was also surprised the monstrous bear now looked like some cutie pet now.
Seeing that, the bear's eye darkened.
"Wait you don't want more dango?"
Seeing this, the bear's eyes softened and it jumped happily on Anko's leg to eat dango.
Everyone then brust laughing.

It's also agreed that the bear will work for free and do missions to repay what it had stolen.
Also since this is all over now.
It's been several days since the food crisis.
Due to the situation being solved without sharing too much information on the bear no one complained about Shintoki keeping the bear with him. He was also asked to take responsibility and look after the bear.
Shintoki with the bear accomplished many missions around Konoha.
And in his free time they trained.
"Sensei I have a request.
I want to learn rotation. Can you teach me?
When you do your Fang over Fangs you spin to increase the strength and piercing power of your strike.
I mean to create something similar but to boost my speed and resistance against attack."
"What you are asking me is complicated.
The Fang over Fang is my clan's secret jutsu it can't be taught to someone else.
But I could help you achieve something similar after all the Hyuga and Akimichi clan also use the principle rotation so it isn't something that only Inuzuka use in their jutsu.
Fine come back here tomorrow.

"We want to learn some advanced chakra control that only higher ninja know it would really be useful for us."
Hearing them request Tsume nodded.
After their near death experience in the chunin exam the three rookies had been training nonstop pushing their limit to become proper chunin and even their teamwork had become something dangerous being able to push their jounin to dangerous position if not for her experience and the fact that still are growing up she would have been in real danger.
"Fine, I will see what I can do to help."
And so Shintoki and his team will come to the training ground 3 and train with their sensei 4 times a week to develop their technique for the day to come.
Also with the 3 ninja war closing in they would need all the strength they could get and training until their jounin sensei become too busy to teach them or without being ready getting passed in the battlefield.
"Damn it why it's so hard."
To help Shintoki develop his technique Tsume first told him to develop a sensing technique; the Inuzuka use their nose to control their direction when spinning.
The first time Shintoki spinned he ran inside a wall and countless scenes like that happened where he found himself inside a tree and had some broken bones.
"Focus enhance your body chakra first only then can you have the necessary strength and speed to react while using rotation. And don't forget to use your chakra as your guide."

And like that days passed with Shintoki practicing his jutsu.
In that period team Tsume did some more D ranks mission and 1 C rank mission.
They escorted a merchant back home and took out bandits.
Then returned to Konoha while Shintoki returned to his training.
In the house of Shintoki.
Anko used her snake technique to trap the bear.
Supposedly wanting to teach it a lesson.
The bear was beyond terrified hurling weakly.
As if saying he won't do it again.
Satisfied with the bear's pleading Anko finally released it.
"That will serve you right."
Obito visits Shintoki's home.
Obito hid and then tried to infiltrate Shintoki's house and take him by surprise.
Only to get punched straight out of the house.
He was hit so fast he couldn't even see the shadow that sent him away.
But not someone who gets easily discouraged.
Obito intent to get revenge.
This time Shintoki presented himself directly at the gate and knocked.
Once Shintoki was out he greeted Obito.
"Haahahaha, my friend how are you? Come in."
"Shintoki it's been awhile," Obito smiled awkwardly.
Obito finally lost his calm and launched a surprise attack only to get thrown out of the house by a giant bear.
"What the hell?" was the last thing Obito managed to say before succumbing unconscious.
Bear obtained dango after tormenting Obito.
Elsewhere
Ambush
Four shadows were running in a rock plain.
"We shouldn't be far away."
"Sensei, will we run into ninja in this mission?"
"Not likely, this is just escort. Although it's better to remain vigilant we never know."
Hoheto and his teammate were relieved hearing their sensei but for some reason Dama sensei was feeling some unease.
Around 40 minutes later..
Suddenly Hoheto as if detecting something shouted out to everyone.
"Be careful, something is off!"
From out of nowhere a powerful wind current started blowing toward the team.
Two of the members were too slow to react but the sensei swiftly reached catching them and moved out from the path of storm that ravaged the region.
"Senseiiii!" screamed Hoheto who took the client out of the point of impact.
Whoosh!
Fighting through the pain Dama sensei stood before his team and looked at the new arrivals.
It was enough to make him grit his teeth.
"Damn it. Who are these people?
Are they after the client?"
Looking to address them he asked.
"Are you after the client?"
"Hummm, no. You are in our domain that is enough for us to kill you. Also capturing a Konoha jounin must be worth the price."
"This can't happen. Hoheto take the others with you and head northern."
"But sensei..."
"Now go, I need you all out of there."
"Not a chance," say the appearent leader of the ambush.
Water puddles started assembling in the sky taking the shape of needles that started raining from the sky.
"Shit..."
"Arg..."
Boom

A bird ran at high speed to Konoha carrying a scroll.
After hours of travel it finally made it in Konoha.
The bird stopped in the mission quarter and was caught by the shinobi there.
"An emergency scroll?"
Upon reading the content, his expression turned serious to grave.
"Seems like jounin Dama-sensei is having trouble."
This information needs to be sent fast toward the Hokage.
The Hokage after being informed hurriedly called for team Tsume for a mission.
Because of the tension among the 5 Great Nations and the possibility of the three shinobi war breaking at any moment all the jounin were on mission stationed in key points around the Land of Fire and the remaining who are in Konoha are for the direct assistance to the Hokage if somehow an enemy still manages to get in the village.
A whole team is now in danger; normally the Hokage should send chunins and a jounin at the very least.
And while team Shintoki haven't graduated the three members are already famous in the previous shinobi exam.
Shintoki's strength is clearly chunin level at least; if his team had moved past the second round at least one of them would have been promoted.
As such this team already qualifies for this kind of mission.
"Jounin Dama... just hold on for now."
The Hokage sighed.
