Jonathan clenched his jaw, batting his eyelids numerous times until he couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing.
The two women with him were confused and glanced at each other, but after what this person had just said, they were too scared to speak.
After laughing for close to a full minute, Jonathan finally stopped laughing and reached forward to poke Dahlia on the arm.
"I won't lie, Dahlia, this is quite the show you put on. Have you paid him? You should double his reward because from what I've seen, he's such a good actor I almost believed him."
Dahlia blinked, her eyes following his finger as he repeatedly jammed it in her shoulder.
Then she looked up at him, her brows perking up inquisitively. "What do you mean?"
Jonathan immediately sneered and grabbed a handful of her shirt. "Hey, don't play stupid with me. They may have bought it, but an experienced man like me can never be fooled!"
