The Setup
The backstage of the world's biggest Music Awards is a whirlwind of activity. Everywhere you look, there are expensive lights, designer gowns, and A-list stars. Kim Si Jin, a superstar Alpha idol, sits in his private VIP room. His lead makeup artist has suddenly fallen ill, and Joon Jimeya has been summoned as an emergency replacement.
Chapter 1: The Golden Touch
(The door to the room opens, and Joon walks in. He is visibly nervous; this is the moment he has always dreamed of.)
Joon Jimeya: (To himself) I can't believe it... I'm actually standing in his room. Joon, keep it together. Don't lose your nerve.
Kim Si Jin: (Looking into the mirror, his voice sharp yet calm) So, you're the new makeup artist? You do realize how late I am, don't you?
Joon Jimeya: Y-Yes... Yes, Sir! My name is Joon Jimeya. The manager just informed me. I apologize for the delay; I'll begin immediately.
(Joon opens his premium makeup kit. Si Jin's face is flawless, looking as though it were carved from stone. Si Jin maintains a cold, distant attitude.)
Kim Si Jin: My previous artist knew exactly what I liked. Just do your job—no idle chatter.
Joon Jimeya: (Quietly picking up a brush) I understand, Sir. I won't disappoint you.
(For the next ten minutes, silence fills the room. Joon puts his heart and soul into the application. Suddenly, Joon's foot catches on a stray wire and he begins to fall.)
Joon Jimeya: Ah!
(Before Joon can hit the floor, Si Jin's strong hand catches him by the waist. Si Jin's 179 cm frame and his powerful Alpha aura completely surround Joon.)
Kim Si Jin: (In a soft voice, revealing his hidden "soft heart") Steady now. What's the rush? Are you hurt?
Joon Jimeya: (His face flushing deep red) N-No... thank you, Sir. I just...
Kim Si Jin: (Staring into Joon's eyes) Your eyes are so focused, Joon. And your scent... it's very unique. I like it.
Joon Jimeya: (Heart pounding) Thank you, Sir. Your makeup is complete. You may look in the mirror.
(Si Jin looks at his reflection. His look appears even more "Rich" and "Royal" than before. He glances back at Joon with a small, rare smile.)
Kim Si Jin: Impressive. From today onwards, you will be the one doing my makeup for every show. That is an order.
