"The code was wrong, but I fixed it. It's supposed to work… unless you added something when no one was looking," Maya quickly said, gritting her teeth as she pointed an accusatory finger at Dahlia.
She was good. She knew she was, and she had won different awards in the past to prove it.
There was no way a code she repaired wouldn't run. Dahlia must've sabotaged her when she wasn't looking.
Amber blinked, watching the countenance of everyone around her change.
Then she shifted her gaze to Maya, watching her chest heave up and done like she had just run an marathon.
"Uh… If I added something to the code, shouldn't you have spotted it?"
Maya had spent about two minutes coding, so she should've seen it.
As an expert, which she claimed to be, it was indeed quite insulting to think she'd missed an error.
Dahlia's question made it obvious to everyone, successfully shifting their attention from her to Maya.
