I assured him "Don't worry. While destroying the Labyrinth, I found that you had your life force tied to it. I made both of you independent and destroyed it. You're quite free."
But Daedalus still looked at the floor "I... Don't know. I think it's time I move on. Deal with whatever judgement Minos will give me."
Nico came forward from the shadows "You made the right decision." He put his two fingers on Daedalus's forehead and chanted "Δαίδαλε, σε ελευθερώνω, σου αφήνω να περάσεις. Είθε η ψυχή σας να περάσει ειρηνικά από τη Στύγα και να περιμένει την κρίση.**"

A black light started consuming Nico and Daedalus disappeared in a flash of golden. Nico opened his eyes and looked at us "What? I have tricks I can use too."
Did he just crack a joke? Percy had a slight smile, standing in the corner with Annabeth, and she was holding his hand like it was her lifeline.
Chiron did a quick sweep. He announced to us "There have been no Demigod casualties. Let us celebrate by a feast tonight!"
The Demigods cheered loudly, for their friends not being dead and for the feast.
"Ben Tennyson, I had not hoped you would activate the Omni-link." A raspy but loud voice said from my left side.
My head turned around fast, as I knew I was in for a heavy questioning. "Why do always come at the least expected time Azmuth?"
Azmuth, who I noticed, had a serious expression. He said ignoring the gasps of demigods "You will tell me now why you deemed it necessary for activating it without my permission."
"Oh, boy." Percy said from the corner "Mr. Majestor Tennyson is in for a big trouble, we better go away."
"Percy, I thought we agreed not to use that name again." I groaned. Percy had a stupid grin on his face "No you agreed. I did not."
I groaned again. Percy was becoming really annoying. Annabeth asked "Wait, you're a Majestor? Of what?"
I held up a hand "No questions for now. I am a Majestor of my squad, that's the answer you're getting for now. Now let me go back to cabin 3 for some 'talking'."
I started walking, Percy following me. Azmuth turned towards me and said "I might like your brother. He seems to be much more level-headed."
"Are you serious!?" I asked incredulously. "My brother more competent than me?!"
I gave a frustrated sigh "Goddamn it! Do you have an agenda in your life to forever hate me?"
"No." Azmuth simply replied.
I didn't reply back as this argument was going to lead nowhere. I was aware Percy was quite amused by our banter. We reached the cabin 3 and Azmuth got off on the table beside the bunk.
Azmuth turned to me "Now, I am asking you again. Why did you do it?"

"Do you realize the consequences you have caused for activating this? You do not have your own DNA now. Which means I cannot ever take off your omnitrix, lest I want to make you stop existing." Azmuth said gravely.
"I know." I said. "You already told me. A dying immortal told me it was about time. So did it. Besides the final battle is coming soon. I can feel it."

Azmuth looked irritated "You took advice from an immortal, who knows nothing about the omnitrix, rather than from the creator, me?"
"Oh he knew too." I countered. "He disabled the omnitrix, and I have seen only you doing it."
Azmuth had an alarmed look "He deactivated it? What powers did he have?"
I sighed "He was the God of Nature."
"Hmm..." Azmuth said, a finger under his chin "That is not surprising. Nature still remains one of the oldest secrets. It is no wonder he deactivated it."
Percy asked for the first time "Hey Mr. Azmuth, I wanted to ask, how are you so small, yet you made a thing like that?" he pointed at my belt omnitrix.
Azmuth turned around with an annoyed look "Did you ever hear the saying 'Appearances can be deceiving'? I may be small, but I am the greatest mind in five galaxies."
Percy looked sheepish "I guess so."
Azmuth then turned to me "Whenever you need me, click your heels three times together."

Percy had a confused look "Wait what? Really?"
Azmuth shook his head "Of course not! Bah, humans." and he disappeared and teleported.
Percy looked at me, and I shrugged in response. Azmuth notoriously downsized the humans.
"Well, I'm gonna try and use this Omnitrix. You can watch if you want." I said to Percy. Percy nodded, clearly wanting to see.
I took a deep breath. OK, now think of an alien. Fourarms, no wait Armadrillo? What should I think?
I looked down to see transformed. However the body below me surprised me. I was... Fourarms alright, but now had four drill like arms like Armadrillo.

"Woah! It works like the Bi-omnitrix! This is awesome!" I cheered. Bi-omnitrix was one of my favorite omnitrix seen so far, and seeing it made it my alternate future. Now I had finally gotten a same feature!

"FourDrills! Yeah that's a good name!" I said to myself. Percy was laughing. "Do you name your aliens like this?"
"Yeah." I answered. "It always comes on the fly. I have changed names of a few of them too."
I transformed back to my human form immediately. I had an idea to see my other alternate self omnitrix features. I thought about Heatblast, and it's fire.
Soon enough, my right hand was alight, and Percy was looking in awe. "That's a really cool thing, bro! I wish I had those powers too."
I saw a lone stick lying beside the bed and had an idea. I extended my tongue, which came out to be green and long. It held the stick, and I swallowed it in one gulp. I burped, and the sound it produced was really loud.
Percy's nose was crinkled "OK, now that is plain disgusting." and made several gagging noises.
I laughed at his reaction. Suddenly my belt beeped *Incoming call to Ben Tennyson from Gwen Tennyson*
I thought in my mind about receiving it, and my hand changed into Upgrade skin, and raised forward to recieve the call. I cocked my eyebrows.
A hologram appeared with a young woman looking concerned. She was wearing her red shirt with black trousers. Her glasses were nowhere to be seen.
"Hey Gwen. How you doing?" I asked casually, trying not to create a tension. Sometimes it was just hard that my cousin used to hide a secret from me.
"Hey Ben." Gwen greeted. "Also, it's Gwendolyn now. I was just calling to check up on you. We haven't heard from you in a while. Wait, what happened to your hands?"
"Oh, that?" I asked. "That is my Upgrade hand to receive calls."
Gwen looked intrigued "Wait, did you activate the Omni-link? Is that what you did?"
"Yeah." I answered honestly. "I did. Any problem with that?"
She shook her head "No, I was just surprised. I didn't think you would ever do it. Hey I wanted to ask something. When are you going to come back?"
"Until the war ends." I answered. She looked startled "War? Ben, since when were you fighting a war there?"
"Since I arrived. Besides, Paradox has given me hints that I have to stay here to complete something." I replied.
"Which are always vague." she completed. "Ben, we have already learnt not to take his words literally. He always had a wierd way of talking."
"I know." I assured her. I turned to look at Percy, who had fallen asleep watching my aliens. "Even if Paradox didn't tell me, I owe it to my half-brother. He's a really likeable person."
"Oh." she could only say that. After some silence, I asked "So what did you need me there for?"
"Ben," she said looking into my eyes. "You are a hero. People look up to you here. And you haven't been seen here for a while, which could cause panic. There have been rumours started about you visiting distant galaxies. We have been sending some people in your disguise to assure them. It can't last forever though. If your enemies catch a whiff that you are not here, it could cause a breakout."
"Oh Zeu- I mean God." I exclaimed guiltily. "I completely forgot about that. Well, the thing is that I can come next year. He'll turn 16 next year, which means the prophecy can be completed."
Gwen nodded, looking relieved at my answer "Thanks. It's getting harder, but we can manage for another year. Kevin couldn't come because he's needed in the Plumber base for some extensive repairing."
"Good." I said. "Let him enjoy what does. Also I'm gonna sleep now, so goodbye. Night."
"Night Ben. Remember to call once in a while." she said and cut off the call. I was extremely tired and my eyes closed the moment my head hit the pillow.

"Happy Birthday, Perce. Let's celebrate." I said congratulating on his 15th birthday.
I gave him a Wristwatch, which looked a lot like Omnitrix (Which it wasn't). "Woah, did you give me a watch like yours?" Percy asked, eyes shining.
I chuckled "Nah. That's fake. It shows you time, It has a GPS with a satellite I sent to the space, it can track someone if you want. It also isn't blocked by mist. I gotta thank my Eyeguy and Juryrigg powers for that. It can also give me a call whenever you are in danger. So, your welcome."
Percy's face fell at hearing 'fake' but brightened up hearing the features "That's so useful... Hey, can I track Luke by this?"
I thought about it. "I... Don't think so. He's possessed by a Titan, and Gods, Titans and Primordial are the only ones who can't be tracked. They don't have a signature which can't be tracked. I tried it with Alien X, but it just wasn't working."
"Monsters? That would useful in tracking their armies." Percy said. "Yeah you can track them. They are much weaker than them." Percy whistled hearing this. "This is one hell of a gift."
Paul came and asked "Hey, can I borrow Percy? I gotta ask some things."
"Sure." I said. "If Percy doesn't mind."
Percy walked away with him. After twenty or so minutes we were called for cake cutting. Tyson was also present. I smiled at the childish innocence his face showed. I was saddened by the fact that it would most probably be gone after the war.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Percy's mom frowned. "Who could that be?" She opened the door and gasped. I immediately got in s defensive stance, ready to transform if it was danger. A man walked in. It was our dad.
He was wearing Bermuda shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and Birkenstocks. His black beard was neatly trimmed and his sea-green eyes twinkled. He wore a battered cap decorated with fishing lures. It said 'Neptune's Lucky Fishing Hat'.
"Pos-" Mrs. Jackson tried to say but stopped herself. She was blushing right to the roots of her hair. "Um, hello."
"Hello, Sally," Poseidon said. "You look as beautiful as ever. May I come in?"
She made a squeaking sound which made me surprised. Poseidon took it as a yes and came in. Paul was looking back and forth between Percy, me and Dad, trying to read our expressions. I shrugged, having no idea what he was doing here.
Finally he stepped forward. "Hi, I'm Paul Blofis." Poseidon raised his
eyebrows as they shook hands. "Blowfish, did you say?"
"Ah, no. Blofis, actually." he corrected. "Oh, I see," Poseidon said. "A shame. I quite like blowfish. I am Poseidon."
"Poseidon? That's an interesting
name." he said, his voice curious.
"Yes, I like it. I've gone by other names, but I do prefer Poseidon." he answered, and was vaguely giving him hints.
"Like the god of the sea." Paul said. Poseidon's eyes brightened. "Very much like that, yes."
"Well!" Percy's mom interrupted. "Um, we're so glad you could drop by."
"Actually, I'm here to talk to both Percy and Ben. I cannot leave Atlantis alone for now, Oceanus is currently trying to take over my kingdom. Sorry, I couldn't stay long. Also Paul Blofis, congratulations." Poseidon said his voice urgent.
Paul was confused "Atlantis? Oceanus? What?"
Percy face-palmed. "We haven't told him you are the actual Greek God Poseidon."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I had thought you had informed him." Poseidon said, his eyes regretful. I would have bought it, had those eyes not been hiding a playful look.
"Wha-" Paul tried to ask. Percy shushed him "I'll explain later. Come on dad, just tell why you came here other than break Paul."
We followed dad to the bedroom. He turned to Percy and said "Happy Birthday, Perseus. I wish to gift you something."
He handed Percy something, which I deduced as a sand dollar. Percy looked confused "Use it in your time of need." Dad said.
He turned to me, a sad expression on his face "Lord Chronus will be breaking my vow soon. It will be soon, my son."
I gaped at him. Percy asked "About what?"
"My mom..." I whispered. Percy went silent. "Thank you dad, even if you can't tell me now." I said honestly.
Poseidon wore a kind smile. He then disappeared into mist. Percy turned to me "What next?"
I shrugged. But what didn't prepare us was a shadow jumping at Percy. I quickly transformed into Bigchill.
"Show yourself, whoever is pinning- Oh." and I quickly transformed back seeing who it was. Nico was lying on top of Percy.
Both of them looked at me. I raised an eyebrow, and Nico blushed slightly. I immediately figured out what was going on. Nico got up immediately, and helped Percy.
"What are you doing here Nico?" Percy asked. Nico looked at Percy gravely "I found out about Luke. How he survived the fall from Mt. Tamalpais. How he hosted Kronos."
I went stiff "What did he do?"
Nico had a mixed expression. He was looking scared, but determined. He answered only this "He bathed in the River Styx."
"And for us to succeed, Percy has to do the same thing as Luke."
