"You sent for me, sir." I said sitting down on the office chair inside the principal's office.
The principal stared at me for a while and then cleared his throat, "I got a report that you've been skipping school, how true is that?"
I bit my lower lips and replied, "sir, I only skipped school for three days and that's because I wasn't feeling too well..."
I stared at him and continued, "my mum could have brought the doctor's report if not that she traveled out of the state."
"Hope you're feeling better now?" Principal Maurice asked.
"Yes sir, I'm feeling much better than I expected compared to yesterday's morning." I said-- smiling slyly.
"Alright,you can now return to your class." He said and I stood up to leave.
"Zen," he called back and I turned, "my regards to your mum." He said.
"Alright," I responded with a smile and left for class.

Shelly and her friends sat in front of the class scrolling through their phones and chatting away their time when Ethan and Nathan entered the class, few minutes later Nathan left the class.
Zoe stared at Ethan for a while and chuckled.
"I'm really not sure, but I feel like there's a little conflict between Ethan and Zendaya."
Chloe looked up from her phone and stared at Zoe, "for real, I thought I was the only one that noticed that though, and Zen's absence from school is ringing a bell too."
Shelly's eyes lit up in excitement,
"I'mma go find out myself, " she said and stood up from her chair.
Shelly went straight to Ethan's desk and sat in front of him beaming with smiles, Ethan looked up and a slight frown appeared on his face on seeing Shelly sitting on his desk.
"What do you want?" Ethan asked.
A sly smile appeared on Shelly's face, "seems like your little slut of a girlfriend has left you for someone more muscler and cuter than you are."
"How's that your business?" Ethan asked coldly.
Shelly giggled, "of course it's none of my business, but you Ethan... You're my business."
Zendaya and her friends walked into the class and saw Shelly caressing Ethan's cheeks, Zen rolled her eyes and went straight to her chair.
Ethan removed Shelly's hand and stared at her coldly, "leave my sight."
Shelly frowned, "like seriously, you still care so much about her feelings?"
A loud noise of cheer was heard from outside steering everyones curiousity from inside the class, the noise got closer and closer as though it was coming towards the direction of the class.
Just then everywhere went dead silent and the least expected student walked in right through the door.
"Derick!!!!!!!" The whole student shouted in unison.
I immediately looked up in excitement and saw the handsome face of Derick. This time it wasn't through the screen, Derick was actually physically present -- standing right in front of the class receiving all the attentions as usual.
Everyone were hugging and shaking him except Shelly and her friends, and that's because she was copying me, cause I can see through her how much she really wanted to be among the students hugging Derick.
Ethan and Nathan managed to drag Derick out of the crowd and few minutes later the class went back to normal.
"Phew! I wasn't expecting y'all really do miss me this much." Derick said, sitting on Ethan's desk.
"For real dude!" Ethan responded.
Nathan stared at Derick suspiciously, "how did you manage to get back to school?"
"Surprised huh?" Derick asked giggling.
"Yeah menhh, Hiddenveil doesn't retrieve back an expelled student." Ethan said.
"Same way Hiddenveil doesn't admit new students in twelveth grade but you got admitted." Derick said and they burst into laughter.
"Seriously man,you owe us some explanation." Nathan said.
"What's going on?" Derick asked staring at Ethan.
"What do you mean?" Nathan asked.
"Usually Zen is supposed to be here or Ethan sitting on Zen's desk and Lisa doing same to Nathan, so what's popping?" Derick asked.
"Nothing serious is actually going on, Lisa and I are pretty cool with each other and I guess Zen and Ethan are cool too." Nathan said.
"Alright if you guys say so." Derick said and left for Zen's desk.
"Ethan, are you really sure you wanna end things with Zen? I mean Derick is back and you know he won't hesitate to claim Zen if he notices the bridge between you two." Nathan reminded.
" Nathan, I'm seriously done with Zen." Ethan said with finality.
Derick walked passed Shelly and Shelly made to stand up but got ignored by Derick, Derick went straight to Zen's desk beaming with smiles.
"Now you have my time," I said-- frowning slightly.
"C'mon, I was with the guys." Derick defended.
He dragged me up, and hugged me warmly. Shelly on seeing that angrily left the class accompanied by her friends.
"And yet again the PQ girls are always at the top of the game." Lisa said and we laughed.
"We really did miss you Derick," Diva said and hugged him alongside Lisa.
"Seriously how did you do it?" Zen asked.
"My dad spoke with the principal after his first attempt in putting me in a boarding school failed." Derick said.
"Wow! Fathers." Diva said and we burst into laughter, attracting Ethan and Nathan's attention.
I noticed Ethan's constant stare at me,so I wrapped my hands round Derick's neck while caressing his cheeks every now and then.

"Derick is such a dick!" Shelly cursed-- sitting in between Chloe and Zoe at the cafeteria.
"Can't believe he ignored you for that slut of a girl." Zoe said.
"Seriously,I just don't get how she manages to do that!" Chloe added.
A sly smile appeared on Shelly's face and her eyes lit up in excitement, "I don't care how she does it or not,but this is my only chance to have Ethan, she can have Derick for all I care."
I and my friends sauntered inside the cafeteria and saw Shelly and her friends occupying our spot.
"This Shelly girl is just trouble," Lisa said, clenching her fist.
" What the fuck are you three doing in our spot?" I asked.
Shelly chuckled and stared at me, "last time I checked there's no sign board indicating that this spot is specially for the PQ girls,"
"Besides we pay same school fees as you, so quit with the special treatment cause there's nothing special about you." She added.
I stared at her for a while and made to speak when the announcement from the principal interrupted me.
"Good day students! This information is hereby brought to you by the principal. The student body president will no longer dine with the students at the general students cafeteria, instead she gets to dine at the VIP cafeteria made specially for the student body president with few of her selected friends. Thank you!"
"Thank you so much principal! You're the best of them all." Diva said loudly.
I immediately held back what I wanted to say and turned to Shelly with a sly smile,
"There's nothing special about me,yet I keep getting special treatments...can you beat that?"
"Yeah! You can never beat that my darling no matter how much you try." Lisa said with a smirk as we turned around and left for the VIP cafeteria leaving Shelly and her friends off guard.
