I and my friends bumped into Ethan and Nathan at the hallway, I tried talking to Ethan but he walked passed me as though I never existed. My heart twitched and tears tickled down my cheeks, my friends felt sorry for me.
"Are you really sure you want to study today? I mean we can go home if you don't want to." Diva said.
I stared at her-- turning around, "school sucks"
We turned around and left the school premises.

"For real, I think you're taking this too far, Ethan" Nathan said-- sitting next to Ethan at the geography class.
Ethan pretended to be paying attention to the teacher totally ignoring Nathan.
Nathan patted him and he turned angrily,
"What is it!"
The teacher looked up and cautioned them and went back to teaching.
"I do not want to talk about Zen right now, besides she's soon to be forgotten."
"I sure hope you are aware of what you are about doing, cause I know some guys out there that would do anything to be with..."
"With a cheat?!" Ethan interrupted loudly.
"Ethan! Nathan! Out of my class" the geography teacher commanded and Ethan and Nathan reluctantly left the class.

Ethan walked through the door and saw Jasper sitting on the couch downstairs scrolling through his phone while watching sports on the 50inch plasma TV that's sitting gracefully on the neatly decorated TV stand.
"Yo! Bro, you're back so early." Jasper said checking his wrist watch.
"The teacher kicked me out of her class." Ethan said with a straight face and made to go upstairs but Jasper stopped him.
"What's the matter with you?" Jasper asked, "I've noticed your change in behavior this few days I've been around."
"My girlfriend cheated on me," Ethan said -- sitting next to Jasper.
"Your anonymous girlfriend that you always talk about?"
" Yeah and she's not anonymous, besides she's better than your mysterious one night stand." Ethan defended and Jasper chuckled.
"Did she cheat on you with someone you know?"
Ethan nodded, "Nathan's big bro."
"No wonder it hurts you this much," Jasper said.
"No, I'm hurting cause I trusted her blindly."
Jasper stared at him for a while and asked, "has she ever cheated on you before?"
"Not really, it's actually her first time cheating in our relationship."
"Then forgive her," Jasper said.
"Bro! You know cheating is my biggest deal breaker in relationship." Ethan said.
"But you can't deny the fact that you still love her," Jasper said smiling slyly.
"No I don't."
"Says the person who keeps defending her." Jasper teased.
"Get lost!" Ethan said and went upstairs to his room leaving Jasper amused.

I stood in front of my dressing mirror brushing my hair after dressing for school, I applied my mascara and lip gloss and made to leave for school when my phone beeped.
I picked it up and it was Ethan, I got a little excited and called back, it rang for a while before he picked.
"Hey..you beeped me," I said.
"That was a mistake, wanted to delete your number." Ethan said coldly.
"For real? Ethan, why did you choose to punish me this way?" I said-- my eyes welling up in tears.
"Zen, as long as I'm concerned there's no us again." He said with finality and ended the call.
I slowly sat on my bed-- tears falling down my cheeks, I silently sobbed myself to sleep and woke up few hours later. I removed my uniform and entered my bathroom, I soaked myself in my bathtub and had a long bath trying to wash away my pain.
I came downstairs and lay on the couch, few minutes later I drifted away.
"Zen baby wake up!" My mum said shaking me lightly.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw her sitting next to me, while Damon was standing behind her staring at me with concern written all over his face.
"Oh my God! Baby, have you been crying?" My mum asked.
"Mum, you're back." I said hugging her tightly.
My mum and Damon went on a vacation few weeks back before I and Ethan's issue started and now she's back looking all worried and confused.
"What happened to you?" My mum asked and I stared at Damon.
Damon slowly left and entered the kitchen to brew coffee for himself.
"My boyfriend broke up with me this morning, the issue started three days ago and he called today to tell me that it's over between us." I said sadly.
"Why did he break up with you?" My mum asked and I stared at her for a while, and bowed my head.
"I kinda cheated,"
"You know guys doesn't easily forgive cheating, but don't worry I'm not putting the blame on you." My mum said.
"Come here, you're too young for all these drama, if he's truly yours he will definitely come around." My mum added, hugging me.
I wiped my tears and gave my mum a light smile, she pecked me on my forehead and went upstairs with Damon.
I laid back on the couch feeling a little better, just then Lisa and Diva walked in-- concern written all over their face.
"We've been trying to contact you but it was switched off," Diva said sitting next to me.
"You got us really worried when we didn't see you in school after informing us that you would be in school today." Lisa added.
"Ethan finally broke up with me this morning," I said sitting up.
"No way! He took it too far," Lisa said.
I stared at them and chuckled, "c'mon girls, that's what he wants."
"For real? You ain't hurting anymore?" Diva asked.
"I'm done fixing a broken mirror," I replied and they stared blankly at me.
Later in the night I came downstairs for some fruits and saw Damon at the couch watching sports as usual. I entered the kitchen and came out with a bowl of grapes and made to go back upstairs when Damon called me back.
"What?" I said with a slight frown.
"Just wanna talk," he replied.
I sat down on the couch opposite him and he chuckled.
"You know I was thrilled when I discovered that a strong girl like you was crying over a guy." He said and I stared daggers at him.
"So you called me back to mock me?" I asked.
"Not at all, I called you back to tell you what exactly to do if you really wanna get your boyfriend back." He said and my eyes unknowingly lit up in excitement.
"Guys feel overly proud when they know that a girl is overly desperate to have them..." He paused and looked at me.
"Ride on," i said.
"So if you want your boyfriend to come back begging to have you back even though you were the one that messed things up, just act like he doesn't exist anymore and channel all your energy in living life to the fullest." He said.
I stared at him and chuckled.
"Interesting," I said going upstairs to my room.
