Leonardo's POV
Clark dodged the hard questions, putting on a show of deep emotion. "Aila, thank God you're alive. I know you harbor resentment against me, but I don't hold it against you. I'm just relieved you've returned."
Aila's lips curved into a sneer. "Still refusing to confess that you're not the real Clark?"
"I am Clark. Test me any way you want," he shot back, radiating confidence and fearlessness. He knew two women's testimonies alone couldn't prove anything. Besides, that old recording was long gone. What proof could they possibly have?
"You're not! You're not the real Clark! My husband adored me. He'd never betray me or sneak around with another woman!" Aila's tears streamed down like broken pearls, her heartbroken fury impossible to mask. She fixed her blazing eyes on the man before her, screaming, "My husband would never be you! Think you can deceive everyone just because you share his face? But you can't fool me! I know you're not the real Clark!"
