Leonardo's POV
"There really was a kid who looked exactly like Joseph, though the video quality made it tough to get a clear facial comparison. We asked around, but nobody spotted the child or knows which family he's from."
Initially, Tony thought I might've been seeing things, but after reviewing the surveillance footage, he was convinced it wasn't my imagination.
A child actually existed—one whose build and appearance bore an uncanny resemblance to Joseph.
Tony's curiosity got the better of him. "Mr. Nelson, where'd you first encounter this kid?"
"Tonight, after we finished at that rotating restaurant. I went after Veronica and spotted the child in her car's back seat. The little guy was giving me the finger."
"Ha!"
Tony burst out laughing.
In this world, someone had the audacity to flip off Mr. Nelson? That kid had serious nerve!
"What's so amusing?"
I frowned, definitely not sharing Tony's amusement. The idea of some child insulting me really got under my skin.
