"This... You have to ask him... Veronica, please don't kill me..."
Whitney couldn't bring herself to say more, trembling as she cowered in terror.
"Relax, I won't kill you. I'll let you live in agony, trapped in hell until your last breath."
I had no interest in giving Whitney a quick death. That would be far too kind.
I pushed Whitney to the side, got to my feet, and commanded my men, "Get her out of here!"
Even if Caspian was the puppet master, Whitney was clearly his accomplice. I'd make damn sure every last member of the Bogart family burned in hell.
After that, my team and I headed back to the city from the graveyard and used Whitney's cell to contact Maxwell.
I had my team use Whitney's phone to contact Maxwell, telling him to come pick her up. According to my men stationed at the club, he arrived shortly after, walking right into our trap.
The second he walked through the entrance, someone threw a black hood over his head.
