Elias quickly took them and placed them in his bag.
The sound of the battle drew the attention of several mutated zombies. Elias quickly pulled out the steel rod from the dead Black Claw Crow and, with his speed, eliminated them instantly.

Sensing the changes within him, Elias opened his status window.

Elias himself couldn't help but expression a look of shock at his overall stats. 'I hit the jackpot,' he thought.
At this point, Elias was no longer uncertain about the abilities he had made when filling in the questionnaire.
"Can I see?" Queen Anna said, looking at Elias and the empty space before him.
"No," Elias responded sharply.
Elias quickly unsummoned his status window.
Queen Anna snorted in response. "No matter how strong you grow. Don't get too cocky. Because the apocalypse is bound to get more difficult later, whether you are prepared or not. Just be ready," she said.
"I know," Elias replied, with a stern nod. He wasn't the one to get complacent, or else he wouldn't have used his strongest arsenal from the beginning to handle these zombies and monsters.
Sensing countless steps sounded from behind as the other survivors approached him from behind, Elias decided to deactivate his unique skill.
He had burned through 85 per cent of his Sunlight reserves. Pushing [Solar Ascension] any longer would only put his body in an unfavourable situation.
Elias decided to replenish his sunlight reserves to face a dangerous situation he found difficult to handle. He saw the unique skill as his trump card.
Also, Elias was doing this to test the abilities of those he had rescued. Elias wasn't a fool. He was aware that, given the current disastrous state of affairs, food and other basic necessities would be scarce, and only those who could fight and defend themselves would survive.
Elias hadn't forgotten one of the reasons he had ended up in this world. He wasn't going to serve as their babysitter, constantly taking care of them.
He had already done enough by saving their lives. Especially if he encountered an opponent more powerful, like the Black Claw Crow, he would be left to handle it alone, without any support. They would ultimately become a liability.
Thanks to the enhancements brought by being a High-Human, even with his current level 10 stats without the buff, he was confident that he could handle himself.
As Elias deactivated the unique skill. His muscles and height quickly returned to their original form. Due to the effect of his unique skill, his attire was burned with several round patches, making him look like another one of the survivals who had barely managed to get away with their lives.
"Haa…" Elias breathed out tiredly.
"Mr.., are you okay?" Mirabel asked hesitantly as she arrived at Elias's side.
"I'm fine," Elias nodded.
He had just levelled up, and his body felt refreshed and rejuvenated once more; apart from that, his movements would remain slightly rigid for a while and the strange emptiness of exhausting his Sunlight reserves.
In the end, Elias decided to feign weakness.
"Was that transformation one of your abilities?" Mirabel asked, looking at Elias's current form with a hint of surprise in her eyes.
Although she had suspected that the towering, muscular manly figure was the result of one of his abilities because she had never seen or heard of anyone like Elias in the university until now. Seeing her assumptions confirmed, she couldn't help but feel astonished.
'Such a powerful ability! With the arrival of the apocalypse, things are no longer as simple as they seemed,' Mirabel thought.
"Check if anyone has been infected and remove them from the group," Elias said. With the Black Claw Crow, he shifted his focus to the group, who had been forced to fend for themselves.
He was slightly doubtful that some might have been careless in the chaos and become infected.
After a brief hesitation, Mirabel nodded in understanding and quickly relayed the message to the rest of the lecturers and students.
They seemed more than willing to carry out the command, which wasn't unreasonable, as an infected individual in the group could spell death for any of them.
Within a few minutes, those who had been infected were immediately brought out and separated from the group.
There were four in total: three male students and one male lecturer.
"Get your hands off me!! It's only a bruise... I'm not infected!!!"
"Wait! Please stop! I thought we were friends!!"
"Hey! Didn't I rescue you? Is this how you repay my kindness… by snitching on me?"
Elias stepped forward and addressed the group of four.
"You four are on your own from henceforth. Don't think about following us, or else I won't hesitate to eliminate you," Elias said, staring at them with a stern expression.
"If you truly want to do the right thing, I advise you to end yourselves before you transform into one of those zombies and cause more harm to your fellow humans. If you're uncertain about how, you can step forward, and I'll give you a painless death."
The group immediately fell silent, trembling at Elias's words, especially since they were all aware of his strength.
They took a step back, afraid to approach the rest of the group.
Elias nodded at them, then turned and walked away.
He remained aware that one of the students had already levelled up. Even if he wanted to kill them to stop the infection from spreading, he couldn't bring himself to eliminate his fellow humans.
"What a shame," Queen Anna said, clicking her tongue in dissapointed. "You just let valuable kills walk away like that."
Whether she admitted it or not, she was becoming increasingly intrigued by the mysterious man before her. Whether it was because he was somewhat different or a similar race as other humans, or because of his absurd talents and skills, or because of Elias himself and how he wielded them, he left her completely fascinated.
