Synopsis
Should I destroy this world?” he asked, not with anger, but with the same energy as someone deciding whether to take a nap. “Master, please don’t,” his attendant replied, already exhausted by his god’s boredom. I am Lin Xuan a transmigrator who somehow ended up becoming an Immortal God. And honestly? It wasn’t as cool as I expected. I thought immortality meant absolute power, the ability to command life and death, reshape stars, and awe the heavens. But when I finally became an Immortal God… All I got was eternal boredom.

Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Weight of Eternity

For as long as the stars had burned, he had existed.

Worlds rose and crumbled beneath his gaze. Empires bloomed like sparks, only to fade into ash. Prayers once thundered in his ears, but even those had become nothing more than distant echoes forgettable, hollow, empty.

He was an immortal god, and immortality had become his greatest curse.

There was a time when he felt wonder… when he could still laugh, rage, fear, hope. But eternity had stripped every emotion from him, layer by layer, century by century, until only a cold, unshakable calm remained. A god without feeling what purpose was left for such a being?

Staring down at the mortal world, he realized the truth. He was bored. Unbelievably, painfully bored. No war, no prophecy, no divine duty could stir him anymore. He wanted something far more precious than power. He wanted to feel again.

And so, for the first time in millennia, the immortal god made a choice that shook the heavens themselves. He cast aside his godlike presence and descended into the mortal world in a human form, his divine power still intact and his true body untouched.

A mortal body. A human heart. A chance.

As he fell from the sky like a silent star, he whispered to the world below.

"Let me live… even if only as a human."

The subordinate watched in disbelief. The mortals would never understand.

But for him, this was the beginning

the beginning of a life that was finally not eternal, not divine…

Just beautifully, wonderfully boring.

And he could not wait to experience it

(PS. I'm writing this because of boredom )
