Kakashi stopped abruptly, turning to glare coldly at Uchiha Chain and Uchiha Yushu as they darted toward him.
Without understanding how they kept tracking him, continuing to run would be futile. If they could repeatedly pinpoint his location and pursue him, they must possess a method he was unaware of.
Running would only delay the inevitable. Kakashi wisely chose to stand his ground.
At the very least, he needed to figure out how his position was being compromised.
*Whoosh! Whoosh!*
Moments after Kakashi halted, Uchiha Chain and Uchiha Yushu arrived, stopping before him with furious glares.
"Kakashi, we didn't intend to kill you at first," Uchiha Chain said coldly, his eyes icy. "But since you so callously murdered Chengfeng, you leave us no choice!"
"Hmph, he asked for it!" Kakashi retorted, a slight smirk curling his lips as he scoffed.
"I'm curious," he continued, "how have you been able to track my movements so consistently?"
Kakashi fixed his gaze on Uchiha Chain, asking calmly, "How have you been tracking me?"
He hoped to glean some clue from Uchiha Chain's eyes; otherwise, any further attempts to escape would be futile.
Having learned from his previous failure, escaping from under the noses of Uchiha Chain and Yushu would be nearly impossible this time.
"Haha, you want to know?" Uchiha Chain chuckled, his lips curling into a mocking grin. "As long as you carry the Sharingan, you'll never escape my tracking. Unless you gouge out your left Sharingan eye!"
Hearing this, Kakashi's expression shifted slightly. He hadn't realized his left Sharingan eye was the source of his location being revealed.
"So, if I refuse to abandon the Sharingan, there's no way to shake you two off?" Kakashi asked, his gaze steady on Uchiha Chain. He also observed Uchiha Yushu's eyes for any sign of deception, but found none. This confirmed that Uchiha Chain's words were genuine—not a trick to make him discard the Sharingan and flee.
"Exactly! And do you think I'll make the same mistake of letting you escape again?"
A triumphant glint flashed in Uchiha Chain's eyes as he turned to Kakashi and declared arrogantly, "It seems you're forcing me to unleash the Hatake Clan's Pig-Slaying Three Blades!"
Kakashi knew there was no escape and that he couldn't shake off the Uchiha duo's pursuit. *If that's the case, then I won't bother trying,* he thought, his gaze hardening as he calmly faced Uchiha Chain and Yushu.
*The Hatake Three Blades, calling them the Pig-Slaying Three Blades!*
Uchiha Chain and Yushu both raised their eyebrows at this.
"Kakashi, you've successfully enraged me," Uchiha Chain said coldly, fury blazing in his eyes. "The consequences will be more than you can bear!"
"You underestimate me," Kakashi retorted, feigning surprise. "Why would I bother provoking two pigs?"
For a moment, Kakashi seemed taken aback before innocently protesting.
*Boom!*
The instant Kakashi's words landed, two violent bursts of chakra erupted before him, shaking the air.
It was clear: Uchiha Chain and Yushu had truly been provoked by Kakashi's taunts.
"Die!"
Uchiha Chain's fury was boundless. With a furious roar at Kakashi, he charged forward, two kunai appearing in his hands.
*Whoosh!*
Though Uchiha Yushu didn't utter an angry declaration, he too flashed into action, his hands rapidly forming hand seals.
"Earth Release: Earth Splitter Palm!"
*Chichichichi!*
A familiar Earth Release technique erupted from Yushu's hands. Even before Chain could reach Kakashi, Yushu's attack surged ahead, the ground splitting open and rapidly spreading toward Kakashi.
*Whoosh!*
Faced with Yushu's Earth Splitter Palm, Kakashi had no choice but to leap into the air.
*Shick! Shick!*
The instant Kakashi left the ground, Chain hurled his kunai at him.
Their coordinated assault was seamless, making Kakashi wonder if they were truly enraged or merely executing a well-rehearsed maneuver.
*Clang! Clang!*
In desperation, Kakashi swiftly drew his Tachi from his back, deflecting Chain's kunai strikes.
The kunai ricocheted off the blade with a shower of sparks.
By this time, Uchiha Yushu had already positioned himself behind and below Kakashi.
Kakashi was airborne, having just defended himself. This was his prime opportunity to strike!
"Three Pig-Slaying Cuts!"
"Instant Cut: Second Stage!"
But before Kakashi could even land, he shouted out the techniques of the Hatake Three Blades!
Hearing Kakashi's words, Uchiha Yushu's figure visibly froze. He couldn't afford to underestimate the Hatake Clan's swordsmanship, especially since Kakashi had just used the Three Pig-Slaying Cuts to provoke him, leaving a deep impression.
"Ah! My bad, I forgot you can't use the Three Pig-Slaying Cuts in mid-air!"
Instead of launching a sword attack, Kakashi landed smoothly on the ground and turned back to say this to Uchiha Yushu.
"I've been tricked again!"
Hearing this, Uchiha Yushu immediately realized he'd been played by Kakashi. His anger surged to the heavens—he'd never encountered such an absurd opponent before!
*His fighting style is utterly nonsensical!*
"I'll kill you!"
Feeling like he was being made a fool of, even the usually calmest of the three, Uchiha Yushu, roared in fury and unleashed a Fire Release technique at Kakashi.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
"Three Pig-Slaying Cuts!"
"Instant Cut: Second Stage!"
As Uchiha Yushu unleashed his flames, Kakashi's voice suddenly echoed from behind him!
*Shink!*
A straight, icy-cold blade pierced upward from behind Uchiha Yushu in an instant!
