Under the combined Fire Release assault from Uchiha Ren and Uchiha Yoki, Kakashi, unable to evade, was struck directly by their flames!
Yet what made the Uchiha duo's eyelids twitch was that Kakashi's figure *poofed* into mist under their attack!
"A Shadow Clone..."
"When? How is that possible...?"
Seeing Kakashi's figure dissolve into white mist, Uchiha Ren clenched his fists and exclaimed in shock!
*When did Kakashi create the Shadow Clone? When did the real Kakashi escape? I didn't even notice!*
"Damn it! I let my guard down!"
Uchiha Ren cursed under his breath. Their anger had clouded their judgment, preventing them from noticing Kakashi's escape.
"Kazefu's death made us lose our composure! Ren, what do we do now?" Uchiha Yoki asked gravely, knowing their rage had allowed Kakashi to slip away unnoticed using a Shadow Clone.
"Let's bury Kazefu first. That brat won't get away!" Uchiha Ren said grimly, suppressing his burning rage, his eyes gleaming with a predatory glint.

"What a pity! I couldn't dig out Uchiha Kazefu's Sharingan!"
Two thousand meters away from the battle between Kakashi and Uchiha Ren, Kakashi darted through the forest, muttering regretfully to himself.
For Kakashi, every Sharingan was a treasure—whether for transplantation or research!
But he dared not take Uchiha Kazefu's eyes; Uchiha Ren and the others would have noticed immediately.
Escape would have been impossible. Having barely escaped, Kakashi's chakra reserves were now less than a tenth of their original capacity.
"Still, killing one of them while escaping a three-on-one assault is quite an achievement!"
Kakashi chuckled smugly.
He resumed his rapid pace, heading toward the next town on his planned route.
Traveling at top speed, Kakashi reached Matsushita Creek, his second planned destination, within two hours.
Upon entering Matsushita Creek, Kakashi didn't rush to gather information. Instead, he checked into an inn, bathed, ate heartily, and collapsed into bed. He needed to replenish his depleted chakra quickly.
The Hatake Clan's constitution naturally allowed for rapid Chakra recovery. However, Kakashi's left eye, even when covered, constantly drained his Chakra. Only during sleep could he replenish it at full speed.
Though the Sharingan remained active even in slumber, its Chakra consumption drastically decreased.
Two hours later, Kakashi awoke. The Hatake Clan's resilience was truly remarkable; he had fully recovered his physical stamina and Chakra to their peak condition.
Of course, this peak condition was relative to his state with the Sharingan. In truth, his condition was still inferior to what it had been before acquiring the Sharingan.
After leaving the hotel, Kakashi resumed his inquiries about gambling dens and then set out to gather information on Tsunade's whereabouts.
This time, he didn't return empty-handed, though the results were hardly substantial.
"She was in Matsushita Creek a year ago..."
"A year is an eternity. Who knows where Tsunade might have gone by now?"
"Sigh, I never imagined finding someone in the relatively small world of Naruto would be this difficult!"
Kakashi sighed inwardly, resolving to press on to the next town.
"I've already erased all traces of my movements. Uchiha Ren and his companion shouldn't be able to catch up now!"
Kakashi muttered to himself before leaving the city, cautiously concealing his departure.
However, less than a kilometer after Kakashi's figure vanished from Matsushita Creek, two figures materialized at his original departure point: Uchiha Ren and Uchiha Yoki.
"Hmph, that brat's heading toward Izumishita, the next town. He's moving at full speed, so we can't cut him off. We'll have to chase him down! This time, we'll kill him for sure!"
Uchiha Ren, his Sharingan activated, glared in the direction Kakashi had fled, muttering darkly to Uchiha Yoki.
"Right!" Uchiha Yoki replied with a curt nod, his eyes burning with hatred. His bond with Uchiha Kazefu had been even stronger than Ren's.
*Whoosh! Whoosh!*
The two Uchiha warriors surged forward, pursuing Kakashi's vanishing trail at full speed, determined to overtake him from behind.

"I need to find a way to improve the Chidori," Kakashi thought. "Its power is still too weak. If I had the Lightning Blade, I could have killed Uchiha Kazefu with a single strike during our last encounter!"
Unaware that Uchiha Ren and Uchiha Yoki were still pursuing him, Kakashi continued his journey, pondering how to refine his Chidori and develop the Lightning Blade—a ninjutsu he had originally created himself.
"As for the Rasengan, forget it," he decided. "I don't have the Wind Release nature in my chakra. Even if I mastered it, its power wouldn't surpass the Lightning Blade. What suits me best is what makes me strongest!"
Kakashi briefly considered learning the legendary Rasengan but quickly dismissed the idea. Instead, he focused entirely on advancing his Chidori from an A-rank to an S-rank ninjutsu.
As he hurried onward, Kakashi continued to brainstorm ways to upgrade his Chidori. Though he had some ideas, he couldn't immediately pinpoint the key to its next evolution.
"Hmm?"
"What's going on? Uchiha Ren and Yoki have caught up again? How do they keep tracking me? I can't shake them off no matter what I try!"
Soon after, Kakashi sensed pursuers closing in. He glanced back in astonishment and suspicion, his heart immediately surging with anger and alarm.
