Chapter 4 - Ch.4 Differences in Subject Difficulties

Huh?

Why is it Hermione?

Such a coincidence?

On the train,

Sean's voice mixed with the whooshing wind.

Outside the window,

the vast fields had unknowingly receded into the distance, the scattered sunlight also becoming mottled, it turned out the train had entered a yew forest.

Hermione's ear tips slowly turned a faint red, opening her mouth wanting to say something, but her mind somewhat blank,

this made Sean even more puzzled.

"Oh! She just said, you actually know Transfiguration, this is truly unbelievable!"

A voice appeared, it turned out to be Justin, he quickly took over answering for Hermione,

he pointed to the silver needle on the table, pulling Sean and Hermione's attention to the silver needle,

"how did you do it? I heard Hermione say this is a magic with very high difficulty."

After saying it, he also felt somewhat uneasy, could only pray the little wizard opposite didn't hear those offensive words.

"The incantation is Transfiguration, break the sound between Trans and figura,

stress on fi... more importantly, when waving the wand from left to right, the action must be fast, don't pause."

Sean reviewed his practice process once, picking out the possible key points among them, this was his consistent learning method,

"um, of course, need to clearly visualize in the mind the appearance you want the object to become, this point can be seen on page five of The Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration."

Soon, the train drove out of the yew forest, the compartment became bright again, shining on Sean's emerald green eyes like emeralds.

"So my failure was because I paused... I mean, pleased to meet you,

you might not have heard my previous self-introduction, I'm happy to say it again, I am Justin, Justin Finch-Fletchley."

After hearing Sean's words, Justin let out a sigh of relief.

"Hermione Granger."

Hermione's face still had residual blush, but her voice was full of energy.

"Sean Green."

Sean felt Hermione was somewhat strange, although puzzled, but Sean didn't plan to think about it.

There were more important things waiting for him.

In the compartment,

Sean seemingly continued flipping through The Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, but actually his gaze had already fallen on the Proficiency System.

Let me see, what level of Transfiguration genius am I.

His gaze slowly shifted down, Sean admitted he was somewhat nervous, more nervous than drawing cards in his previous life... a hundred times!

The power in games was fake, but now it was real, concerning the future talent.

[Title: Transfiguration Apprentice]

[Slightly increases perception of Transfiguration, slightly enhances Transfiguration talent]

As expected, Sean held his breath, continuing to look down,

[Wizard Sean, Transfiguration Talent: Light Purple (Transfiguration Apprentice Title already boosted). Note: Average wizards are Green]

[Evaluation: You are a true genius in the Transfiguration branch of magic. Through guidance, you will become a pivotal master in the path of Transfiguration]

Purple epic?!

I really am a Transfiguration genius?!

Sean felt like someone was banging gongs and drums by his ear,

also singing something about good fortune coming.

Someone who has experienced white trash can always cherish the purple epic even more.

Through guidance, I can also become a Transfiguration master...

Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Sean decided he must stick to Hogwarts for these seven years,

at the same time, to achieve this goal, he began to carefully think:

The difference between Transfiguration talent and Charms talent verified one thing,

that was in the Harry Potter world, magical talent was not one-size-fits-all, different wizards might have different strengths,

for example Neville, other courses average but Herbology strongest,

for example Hermione, most magic branches strong, but her Defence Against the Dark Arts not as good as Harry's, Divination even bombed.

And for Sean to achieve Outstanding in the seven courses, he must put more effort in the subjects he's not good at.

Among Hogwarts, the difficulties of different subjects were also different.

This not only had issues with the subjects themselves, more importantly the professors, they played a crucial role in the courses.

Just like in university, the knowledge points are specifically there, whether you learn happily or not, whether you pass easily or not all depend on the professor.

Following this logic,

the hardest core course should be Potions, not only having Professor Snape, but also knowledge points fine and many,

also having experimental components with very high danger, every class after class hand in the on-the-spot learning results potion, essays also relatively long.

One thought of Professor Snape's gloomy face, Sean's heart also sank, getting an Outstanding in Potions taught by Professor Snape was not an easy thing.

Could only hope he could have a bit of talent in Potions, um, a little bit would do.

Then second, Sean thought was Defence Against the Dark Arts.

High danger, teacher composition complex.

Two-faced people still not common to see.

Another difficult course...

Sean rubbed his brow, his gaze even sharper.

Nothing could stop him from learning, not even Voldemort!

With some plan in his heart, Sean continued thinking downward.

Next, considering various factors, third difficulty should be Herbology, Transfiguration, and Charms.

These courses without exception all needed talent.

And the last tier should be History of Magic and Astronomy, needing to memorize specific knowledge points,

but these courses for Sean were not thorny.

"Transfiguration and Charms... my current level should be sufficient,

Astronomy and History of Magic... memorize more points, no need for special attention.

Then like this, the difficult places lie in Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, and Herbology."

Goal determined, just as Sean was thinking how to execute,

outside the compartment already noisy for more than a while.

Occasionally could hear words like "Harry", "Harry Potter", "Merlin ah".

Immediately after, a loud bang came.

The disturbed Sean slowly lifted his head, once again colliding head-on with Justin and Hermione's gazes.

Justin quickly lowered his head, saying like nothing happened:

"Sean, quick look, it's the Levitation Charm, truly magical!"

Sean followed his gaze, above Hermione's wand, a feather was floating in the air.

The little girl raised her face:

"Actually this is just a simple magic, I learned it in Standard Book of Spells: Grade 1, the difficulty isn't big, I learned it after practicing a few times."

Her voice carried a few parts pride.

Sean who practiced five hundred times: Actually not so.

"Justin, you try too, it's just a small magic, Standard Book of Spells: Grade 1 says it's often one of the first magics little wizards learn."

Hermione looked at the eager-to-try Justin, seriously opening her mouth.

"You have to guide me."

Justin didn't refuse, with a few parts longing waving his wand.

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

The feather didn't move,

"You have to flick your wrist."

Hermione opened her mouth to correct;

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

The feather lightly shook a little bit,

"You're wrong again! You have to decisively open your mouth, once hesitant it will fail!"

Hermione somewhat sternly guided, Justin then even more serious:

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

...

"Success! Great Hermione, you really are a good teacher!"

The successful Justin appeared very excited, he sincerely thanked:

"You're right, its difficulty seems not big at all!"
