Chapter 14 - Julia and Yhazem?

Days had passed quickly, and only two days remained until the tournament.

Even though Yhazem trained nonstop and kept working, he was aware that he was still lacking.

"Morgos, don't you think it's finally time?"

"Ah, yes, you are right, Master Yhazem."

What Yhazem was talking about was simple:

The Celestial Void Technique.

He had been preparing and training for it for days; after all, a building erected without a foundation is doomed to collapse.

That's why he decided to progress and improve under Morgos's training, even though he didn't trust him.

Training was basically divided into two groups: first, physical proficiency (for which he was being trained under harsh conditions); second, mental proficiency and Aura circulation—these were the fundamentals of his training.

"Alright then, Morgos, when will we start? Would this ancient spirit mind enlightening me with his great wisdom?"

"Um…"

"Um?"

"You've actually been seeing the first step of the technique from the very beginning."

"Huh? What do you mean by that exactly, Morgos?"

"As I said, Master Yhazem. You already have the foundation; all that's left is for you to use it…"

"What the hell is he talking about again…"

"Morgos, would you maybe try speaking a little more clearly? How does that sound?"

"Master…"

---

The moon had already reached its peak, the air was pleasant, and the smell of grass added warmth to the atmosphere. After finishing his training, Yhazem decided to wander the castle halls and look at the garden. At least this way, he could forget his brother for a little while and forgive himself.

Two figures caught his eye in the garden: the first was the big man Maver, and the second was the beautiful Princess Julia…

"How is it going, Maver?"

"Better than we expected, Princess Julia."

"I'm training him, and he's working hard on his own as well. He even managed to learn Aura recently—I questioned him about it."

"I see…"

"Maver."

"Yes, Princess?"

"The stranger watching us… can you feel him?"

Right after hearing this, Maver appeared in front of Yhazem, who had been watching them.

"Shit, what the hell??"

He asked the suspicious-looking Maver in front of him:

"Hey, brat! Do you think it's okay to watch others without permission?"

His voice was dripping with anger.

"Maver, that's enough. Step back—I want to be alone with him."

"But Princess…"

"Enough."

Maver narrowed his eyes at me, nodded at the princess, and disappeared.

The princess—with all her elegance and beauty—was walking toward me with slow steps.

"How may I help you, Princess?"

She didn't answer, only continued walking until she reached me, and when she stopped,

she gently touched my lips with her finger.

"What the hell is happening!!!???"

With a soft, gentle voice, she continued, saying "Calm down."

I looked at the princess and closed my eyes.

"Please continue, Princess… whatever you want is what I want…"

With a voice full of disgust, she replied:

"Hah?"

"Shit."

The princess took out her phone and began dialing Maver.

"Hey, Princess, please stop… Please??"

I was sweating, tense.

In the end, she looked at me, couldn't hold it in any longer, and burst into laughter.

"Hahahahahaha," she said, grinning at me.

Her smile was elegant and beautiful—warm.

"Shall we go somewhere else?"

She asked me. I closed my eyes, and just as I was about to answer, I found myself on the rooftop.

"Shit, now I'm really screwed…"

The princess looked at me, and when she realized I was looking back, she turned her head downward.

That's when I realized—her cheeks were red.

She was embarrassed???

After a long, tense silence, she suddenly looked at me.

I flinched and fell backward.

She tried to cover her mouth with her hand but failed.

"Hahahahahaha!"

Her laughter was beautiful…

"I think I fell in love. I wish Morgos were here…"

Her laughter was funny, warm, and most importantly… peaceful.

She leaned her head toward me. I closed my eyes and leaned toward her as well.

But what I hoped for didn't happen. "Damn it."

When I opened my eyes, she was just looking at me, as if waiting for an answer.

After another brief silence, she spoke.

"I never belonged anywhere. My family, my friends, the ones I loved…

They all rejected me."

"Hey, tell me, Yhazem… do you think someone like me deserves to live?"

My mouth tightened; I tried to answer but couldn't.

In the end, the cursed sentence slipped out of my mouth.

"I don't know…"

I closed my eyes.

"I understand, Yhazem."

When I opened them, she was no longer there—she had vanished.

"Shit… I really messed up, didn't I, Helena?

I'm sorry I couldn't share a new episode yesterday, I'll try two today, sorry again, everyone.
