Robert dragged Sienna through the swarming media crowd outside the hotel. The paparazzi tried to block his path, shouting questions that felt like stabs of a knife, but Robert ignored them all. He reached his new car, shoved Sienna into the passenger seat, and slammed the door with a force that shook the frame.
He accelerated instantly, the engine roaring as the car tore through the night. He drove like a man possessed, weaving through traffic until he reached a desolate, silent stretch of road far from the city lights.
The car screeched to a halt in the middle of the pavement. Robert threw open his door and rounded the car, dragging Sienna out by his collar.
