Chapter 1 - Mecha God — Chapter 1: Awakening of the God System

Mecha God — Chapter 1: Awakening of the God System

The city of Neo-Tokyo 9 burned under the crimson sky, its towering skyscrapers scarred by explosions and scorched by beams of energy from colossal machines. Civilians screamed and ran in every direction, but their cries were drowned out by the roar of metal giants clashing in the streets.

Among the chaos, a young man sprinted across the cracked asphalt. Akira Tenshou, seventeen, heart pounding, dodged debris with uncanny reflexes. Sweat clung to his brow, but his mind raced faster than his feet. He had been an ordinary high schooler just yesterday—now he was a fugitive in a war he didn't understand.

A deafening crash made him stumble. He looked up. Towering above him was a fallen mecha, a hulking silhouette of black and gold, its core sparking violently. Akira felt an irresistible pull toward it. Something… alive… called to him.

"Pilot… awaken… inherit…"

A holographic interface shimmered into existence before his eyes. Words floated in midair:

[God System — Activation Pending]

Akira hesitated. Could this be real? A voice, neither male nor female, echoed inside his mind:

"Activate, and wield power beyond your imagination. Your destiny… is to become the Mecha God."

He swallowed hard and placed his hand on the mecha's cockpit hatch. Energy surged through his veins, white-hot and exhilarating. The system scanned him.

[Level 1 — Pilot: Akira Tenshou]

[Primary Skill — God Frame Synchronization: UNLOCKED]

[Secondary Skills — Scanning… 3 Skills Found]

The ground trembled as the mecha slowly rose, responding to him as if recognizing its true master. Its eyes glowed, a blinding blue that pierced the blood-red sky.

"System… give me power!" Akira shouted.

A surge of energy coursed through him, and suddenly, he could feel everything—the city, the enemies, and even the faint heartbeat of every human nearby. The system spoke again:

[Battle Mode — Activated]

[Recommended Target — Rogue Mecha "Titanus-09"]

Before Akira could react, a massive mecha lunged at him, energy blades cutting through the air. He jumped inside the cockpit instinctively. Controls lit up, holographic buttons surrounding him.

"God System… teach me!"

The system responded instantly, overlaying combat instructions and attack sequences in real-time. With a roar, the mecha charged, faster than any human could move. Its fists smashed through the rogue mecha's armor, sending sparks and debris flying.

From above, three figures descended in sleek battle suits. Their eyes locked on Akira, curiosity—and something more—flickering in their gaze:

Miyu Hoshino, elite mecha pilot, whose calm demeanor masked a fiery spirit.

Rina Kaede, genius engineer, mischievous and clever, already calculating ways to improve his mecha.

Selene Arclight, mysterious swordswoman with connections to the ancient mecha civilization, intrigued by Akira's sudden synchronization.

"Who… is he?" Miyu whispered.

"He's… different," Selene murmured.

Akira didn't have time to answer. He swung the mecha's arm, energy slicing through the rogue, and victory was his. Sparks fell around him, but he felt… alive. The system whispered:

[Congratulations, Pilot. Level 2 Achieved. New Skill Available — "Chaos Overdrive."]

The city may have been burning, enemies everywhere, and danger constant—but Akira Tenshou had awakened as the Mecha God. And with it, a legacy that would intertwine love, war, and destiny itself had begun.
