Chapter 145 - AFTER THE WAR GODS AND ROOTS

The cosmos had returned to calm.

Stars hummed quietly.

The Root stood unmoved.

Kael Veyris had defeated the being beyond the Canopy.

Not with brute force, but with absolute authority over existence itself. From the Canopy, the mythological gods appeared, observing quietly.

Zeus Lord of Lightning, King of Olympus. Boisterous, proud, but curious about the Root's authority.

Hera Queen of Olympus, ruler of marriage and sovereignty. Regal, cautious, and calculating.

Athena Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy. Calm, analytical, forever questioning.

Ares God of War. Impulsive but impressed by restraint.

Shiva The Cosmic Dancer Multi armed, serene, laughing at the absurdity of mortal power.

Odin All Father. Wiser than most, eyes on everything, yet humbled by the Root.

Amaterasu Goddess of the Sun. Radiant, patient, observing every detail.

Anubis Guardian of Death. Silent, watchful, intrigued by the Root's authority.

They were powerful, emanations of the Universe Tree.

Leaves of the Canopy.

Beautiful. Vast.

But still branches above the Root.

The war was over.

I could have erased the enemy instantly.

I could have rewritten the battlefield entirely.

But I wanted lessons.

The races had learned.

The enemy had learned.

Even the gods could learn if they chose to observe.

And now it was time.

Kael raised his hand, letting the Roots flow through him.

Golden runes ignited.

Black silence collapsed into the universe.

Eternal Void Mandate: Absolute Null Genesis activated:

Type: Supreme Authority (Passive + Active)

Scope: Time . Void . Fate .Reality . Laws Nothingness Creation/Destruction Null

Effect: Anything Kael targets is nullified at its origin, erased or rewritten before it ever existed.

Absolute Clause: If Kael acknowledges it as unpermitted existence instantly complies. No reversal. No resurrection.

The gods felt it.

Even Zeus's lightning dimmed instinctively.

Odin's eyes widened.

Shiva laughed, quietly impressed.

Athena stepped forward, voice calm:

Root… what is this.

Kael looked at her, sipping tea.

Control. Not power. Power is visible. Control is inescapable.

Ares growled softly.

So… we are still leaves

Kael smiled faintly.

Yes. Beautiful. Dangerous if mismanaged. But leaves nonetheless.

Amaterasu tilted her head, radiant:

Even we cannot resist you.

Kael nodded.

And you shouldn't try. Only observe.

The gods departed slowly, humbled and fascinated.

The races looked up at the Canopy, inspired.

Nyx whispered softly:

Even legends can learn.

Kael Veyris returned to the Roots.

Silent.

Patient.

Unmoved.

The Universe Tree rustled gently

approving the Root's new authority.

The cosmos had learned a single truth:

Even the mightiest gods exist because the Root allows them.
