Sero Hanta found himself turning up the volume on the TV in his father's restaurant as a picture of one of his Dad's best customers flashed up on screen.
"...reports have come in from multiple scores now that Sir Nighteye's miraculous survival can only be attributed to the unlikely contribution of All for One's choice to heal him alongside his companions. They were reportedly all injured in a confrontation with the Villain Overhaul while trying to evacuate back to the surface in the wake of the conflict between him and All Might. This is just another oddity of the supposed Villain found in the wake of his destructive battle with our number one hero."
His Dad came out of the back to watch the feed himself. "Well that is at least one good thing to hear." It had been a slow day from the start but in the wake of the recent battle that at one point was only a few blocks away, no one was going out to eat.
"Why do you think he did it? Saved Sir I mean?"
His Dad shrugged. "Well if I am reading between the lines right, I would say that despite not getting along with All Might, All for One does like Sir and doesn't hold the fact that he used to be All Might's sidekick against him. I could be wrong of course but I doubt it. It seems like the man was prioritizing his kids' happiness over his own, not that he didn't seem to be having fun anyways. Honestly I am surprised that there is not more coverage of some of the stuff he was talking to All Might about yet. Or frankly All Might's transformation when he briefly lost control of his Quirk. The fact that a Villain that powerful has a son that is apparently a fully licensed Pro-Hero really should be getting more attention. Or the fact that All for One was the one containing the fight not All Might." His Dad scratched his head. "Honestly I am not really sure how much of a Villain that guy is anyways. He showed up with the League and none of them are particularly Villainous 'far as I can tell."
Hanta snapped his fingers as a statement from All for One came back to him. "Oh yeah, didn't he also say that two of his kids were planning on taking the UA heroics entrance exam coming up too? Huh, I wonder if I might be able to put my investigative skills to work and figure out who they are."
His father frowned. "No you will not. That is months away, I am sure that by then Sir will have figured it out himself. Or Nedzu since it is his school. You should be more focused in reviewing for the written test, not planning on following Sir's nephew into a life of vigilantism."
Hanta sighed and nodded. "I still can't believe you met Loki before and never told me."
His father shrugged. "What is there to tell? Smart kid that looks quite a bit like his uncle and likes his food a bit on the spicy side. I've always been more focused on Sir's meal orders then trying to get details he doesn't want to share from him. Kid isn't Sir's only nephew either you know. I think he has another one your age who will be trying for the exam with the two of you too. Maybe you could hunt them down on exam day instead."
Hanta brightened at the idea of another potential friend at UA if he got in. Unlike some jerks online, he had no doubt that Loki was getting in the Hero course despite the fact he was Quirkless. Sir himself only seemed to have a weak mental one and that had never slowed him down. Plus Loki had been running circles around the Pros for over a month before it came out he was Quirkless even in just those circles and only a month after that Loki had proudly pointed that fact out on his broadcast with Present Mic on "Put Your Hands Up" radio. If Loki's cousin or maybe brother(?) was half as crazy cool as he was then he was a shoe in as well.
It was something to keep in mind at least.

Hisashi hummed lightly to himself as he walked casually past the lightly glowing tanks filled with the Doctor's abominations.
"Ah! Sensei! To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit? I thought that given your recent miraculous recovery, that it would be a while before I saw you in person again."
Hisashi turned to look in the direction the Doctor's voice had come from. The man wasn't even looking at him directly, more focused on the screens in front of him tuned into the bar's camera feeds. "Actually, Ujiko, visiting you ranked rather high on my todo list."
The Doctor never had any time to realize what was happening as Hisashi crossed the distance and tore the man's head from his shoulders. It was a bit therapeutic if he was honest. The only reason the man had lasted this long was his usefulness outweighing his own disgust with the man. With Eri now the man's one major redeeming feature, his skills as a doctor, was worthless.
Hisashi shoved the corpse from the seat and shut the computer down so he could safely remove the harddrive with all of the man's notes on Nomu. Once done, he turned to the tanks. Now that he was fully recovered, there was no reason to not keep all of his Quirks on himself again, the artificial limit created from his prior brain damage now completely gone.
As all of his missing pieces slotted back into place inside his horde, he found himself humming once more. Now to take a page out of his son Dabi's book and burn it all to the ground.

Which One Was the Actual Hero Here?
Original Poster IveConnectedThem
Am I the only one who noticed during the fight between All for One and All Might that our clearly soon to be retired number one was the one racking up most the collateral damage? All for One clearly redirected several hits to keep the shockwaves from All Might's punches from hitting the news crew flying around them when it would have been easier not too.
Add that to the fact he was the one to rush to Loki's aid when he was shot and I find it hard to think of him as any worse than a possible vigilante.

His baby sister. Also Loki I don't think you have a secret immortality Quirk. I am pretty sure your lack of a Quirk factor sort of proves that.

Ah Hyouka, you're no fun. I wanted to see how long until our followers on here figured it out. ಠ_ಠ

So the two of you did meet up after all! So Hyouka huh?
Original Poster IveConnectedThem replied
Hyouka is my future Hero name so it is only appropriate that Loki refer to me by that name while I use his current Vigilante / future Hero name. But yes we met up during HeroCon back at the end of July.

Shoto sulked slightly as Dabi led him to Fuyumi's place. Sure, he did want to see her and Natsuo after these few months but he was not looking forward to what came after. Clearly Dabi was less than happy about the situation as he helped Shoto carry his bags but Izuku had been rather insistent that Dabi be the one to go with Shoto though he was not 100% sure that was a good idea. Dabi had a terrible habit of making jokes about Touya for some strange reason that he suspected his older siblings might find upsetting. The only reason he didn't himself is he had basically no memory of his former eldest brother.
When they reached the door of her apartment, both of them stood there for a minute nervously shuffling as they waited for the other to knock. After a brief staring contest Dabi huffed and folded. "Fine but you owe me." He knocked.
Fuyumi pulled the door open only to freeze as she took the two of them in. "Shoto?"
Shoto nodded. "Hi Fuyumi."
She looked at Dabi in confusion. "Are you the one who found him?"
Dabi snorted. "In a manner of speaking. Shoto's been crashing with my family for months to avoid having to see the human garage pile that is somehow the soon to be new number one Hero."
Fuyumi studied his face for a moment. "You look familiar… Have we met?"
He averted his eyes. "Uh, not since I was 12 and you were 11 when I faked my death."
Shoto saw his sister pause and as she seemed to take in his new brother's appearance before her jaw dropped. "Touya…?"
"Er…I go by Midoriya Dabi now but yeah it's me."
Oh. Huh. Shoto supposed that explained all the jokes about Touya being dead now. He had to wonder if any of the rest of the family knew. Better Dad certainly but who else? Izuku maybe? It would explain why he wanted Dabi to go with him.
Fuyumi crossed over the threshold and promptly smacked Dabi before tugging him into a tight hug with a sob. "You couldn't have let us know you were actually alive, asshole?"
Dabi sighed and wrapped his own arms around her to rub her back. If there was one thing that came from living with Izuku, Eri and Inko was that you quickly learned how to deal with someone crying whether you wanted to or not. "Sorry Fuyumi. Up until Izuku forced his way into my life I had no intention of anyone knowing."
She pulled away. "Come on in. I want to hear all about what you and Shoto have been doing since you both ran away."
---MiM-MiM-MiM---
Dabi found himself letting out a small huff of blue flame in a habit he had picked up from his new Dad as Fuyumi laughed at him. Dabi had just made the mistake of mentioning that his current painted nails came courtesy of Eri and Himiko when they had insisted on giving him a makeover while he and Himiko were watching Eri yesterday afternoon. She had not noticed his bright blue nails right away but had asked upon seeing them as he had reached for his cup of tea.
At least Shoto was not here to contribute in his suffering at their sister's hands, having vanished into the bathroom where Dabi suspected he was hanging out texting his friends given he had not yet returned. Or slipped out to avoid having to go back to Endeavor for as long as possible. One of the two.
"I don't know why you think it is so funny. It is not like you didn't do the same thing to me when you were Eri's age."
She giggled lightly. "True. Sorry, it is just with your current punk rocker look, I find it hard to picture you covered in the expected amount of makeup and glitter that comes hazard when girls that age try and make people pretty."
Dabi rolled his eyes. "Eh, I would say Eri had better self control the Himiko. She just thought her nail polish would look nice with my fire and eyes and probably would have stopped there if Himiko hadn't broken out her full makeup kit. You should have seen Tomura when Himiko finally got a hold of him since he is the only one besides Mom and sort of Izuku that has long hair at home. I am just waiting until she goes after Uncle Shouta, Hitoshi and Hizashi. That will be a sight since Hitoshi's hair is the shortest out of the three of them and his hair is still more than long enough to pull back like Izuku's."
Fuyumi frowned slightly as Dabi called Inko Mom. "Mom?"
Dabi sighed. "Dad's wife Inko and Izuku's biological mother though if anyone asks, she is Eri's too. I think everyone in the League calls her that at this point regardless if they have another mother or not. Uncle Shouta sort of looked like he swallowed a lemon when Kurogiri slipped up and accidentally called her that for the first time since she is his older sister regardless of the fact she legally was practically his mother since the age of six and he has no problems occasionally referring to Dad as Dad too." He looked down to study his cup. "I know I shouldn't blame our mother for what happened to me at Endeavor's hands, but I can't help but feel that she should have tried harder to get help or something. She fucking permanently disfigured our baby brother. I know that the blame for her mental break can be traced back to Endeavor for that too but I can't find myself forgiving her for that given that I can't for the life of me see how she mistook Shoto for him. Aside from having red hair on half of his body and having the same blue eye color on that side, Shoto looks just fucking like her."
Fuyumi sighed. "If I am being honest, I am not sure how I feel about all of this myself. All I have ever wanted was for us to all be a happy family but it feels like I am the only one willing to try."
Dabi frowned. "Fuyumi, so long as Endeavor is around, that is never going to happen. He is the one who broke our family before it even had a chance."
She sighed again and gave a small nod with a sad smile. "Is it bad that I am jealous of your new family?"
Dabi snorted. "They can be your family too you know, Dad did not even hesitate with unofficially adopting Shoto the first time he saw him. I doubt he would have any issues with adding you or Natsuo to the mix. The man hordes family members like nothing else. I was pretty much doomed as soon as Izuku found me."
Her smile turned ever so slightly happier. "So what is he like? Your new Dad?"
Dabi snorted. "Well there is a reason Shoto openly refers to him as Better Dad. He is basically the opposite of Endeavor in every way." Dabi paused and considered his next words. "You know the fight All Might had just a few days ago? The one with All for One?"
She frowned again. "Yes but why the change in topic?"
Dabi scratched his head. "Ah, it is not a change in topic actually. Dad is All for One."
Fuyumi nearly dropped her teacup in surprise. "You're joking."
Dabi snorted. "Nope. I was with him when he ran into All Might. He bought us all enough time before the punches started to fly so that All Might didn't kill us as collateral. Shoto can confirm too if you ask him."
She set down her tea cup to cover her mouth in disbelief. "But he is All Might, why-?"
"Dad was also literally the only reason the news copter wasn't swatted out of the sky too. All Might hates Dad for something that honestly from the sound of things is probably not even his fault. The guy nearly killed him a couple years back. If it wasn't for Eri's Quirk, Dad would still be missing the top half of his face."
"What does All Might think he did to deserve that sort of response?"
"Kill his mentor but, well to be fair he did sort of do that, but only after she sort of forced him to. She is the one who picked the fight and then refused to let him leave without killing her. Honestly I think it was more of an assisted suicide then a fight. I'm sure you saw on the news just how powerful he is. She went into the fight knowing that fact and her Quirk was nowhere near as powerful as All Might's."
"So, what, your new Dad being a Villain doesn't bother you at all?"
Dabi blinked. Oh, right she probably didn't know yet. "Uh, not really considering I sort of am one too… Legally anyways. I mean, outside of the arson charges and the shit I do with the League of Villains, most of my crimes have been vigilantism frankly. If you hear the name Blueflame going around that's me."
She frowned once more. "Why did you join a group called the League of Villains anyways? That doesn't seem like a good move in general."
Dabi shrugged. "I mean Tomura is the founder of the group so when he asked it was hard to say no. Especially when Himiko joined too. Someone needed to watch their backs."
Fuyumi snorted. "Well I am glad to hear you are capable of acting like an actual older brother to someone ."
Dabi winced. "I really am sorry for leaving you guys you know."
"But you couldn't stay."
"No. Not after the way Endeavor treated all of us. Not when he threw me away like second hand garbage after Shoto was born…"

Shoto was not messaging in the group chat. He was texting Natsuo.
You should come over to Fuyumi's place.
Natsuo:
???
Who is this?
And how did you get my number?
Shoto
I am at Fuyumi's place right now.
Don't tell Endeavor.
Natsuo:
Shit really?
Prove it. Send a photo of yourself with something balanced on your head.
Sure
22XX0930_858452.jpg
Natsuo:
Holy shit it is you!
Where the hell have you been!?!?!
Dad's been saying you've been kidnapped but Fuyumi found that note?
With Touya
Natsuo:
!?!?!?!
Wait Shoto, are you saying that Touya is alive?!
Evidently
He is talking with Fuyumi right now.
You should come over.
Natsuo:
I am already on my way.
Satisfied that his work was complete for now. He quickly checked his forum boards and DMs before he decided that Fuyumi and Dabi had been left alone long enough to talk in private. He walked back out into Fuyumi's living room to find, both Dabi and Fuyumi awkwardly not looking at each other and fidgeting with their cups of tea.
"Dabi tell you he's a villain yet?"
Fuyumi nearly jumped at the sound of his voice. As it was, she flinched hard enough to splash her tea on her own lap making Dabi burst into laughter. "Geeze Shoto, since when are you so stealthy?"
Shoto gave her a slow blink, like the ones Hitoshi claimed calmed cats down. "How do you think I avoided our father as much as I could?"
Dabi stifled his laughter as she winced. "Shoto is the only fucking quiet person besides Kurogiri living with us. I mean, everyone is capable of being stealthy if they want but Shoto is the only one who forgets to turn it off. Uncle Shouta is the same way. The two of them have scared the shit out of Kurogiri so many times over the past few months-" He lost it again.
As he struggled to recover and Fuyumi fought back a smile as she blotted at her skirt with a napkin, there was a knock at the door. That was the only warning they got before the door was unlocked with a spare key and thrown open. "Fuyumi! Shoto turned up here at your apartment and you don't even text me? Worst sister ever."
He made it all of a couple steps inside before locking eyes on Dabi and his jaw dropped. "Touya what the fuck? What happened to you?"
Dabi gave his brother a casual looking wave but Shoto could tell from his past few months around him that his older brother was internally freaking out. "Hey, Natsu, long time no see."
Shoto walked over to his one remaining white haired brother to tug him gently over to sit with their siblings as the young man gaped at his formerly dead brother like a fish out of water. He gave Dabi a slow blink. "Consider this revenge for not telling me while we were literally living together."
Dabi grimaced. "Yeah, I kinda figured that one would come back to bite me eventually. Everyone else who knows sort of figured it out on their own so I've never had to explain it really either. By the time I realized you weren't going to figure it out I was sort of in too deep with just being Midoriya Dabi to actually tell you."
Shoto nodded. "I suppose that is fair. Looking back, you were not being particularly subtle in hinting to the fact you were Touya."
Natsuo seemed to have finished rebooting his brain as Tomura probably would have put it. "Why Midoriya Dabi? Uh, no offense but you aren't exactly green. I mean, Dabi makes sense I guess with your Quirk but Midoriya?"
Dabi laughed. "Yeah the only ones that the name really fits with are Izuku and Mom. The rest of us except Himiko have naturally white hair and of that number I am the only one without red eyes like Dad."
At Natsuo's clear confusion, Fuyumi clarified. "He got adopted at some point after we saw him last."
Natsuo frowned. "So Mom isn't Mom for you anymore? Don't you feel, I dunno, bad maybe for basically replacing her?"
Dabi snorted, a small curl of flame escaping. "I want to see you hold up against Midoriya Inko for longer than a few days before you would cave and call her that. The only reason Kurogiri lasted so long is because he is the same age as her younger brother and even he folded eventually. I am pretty sure the only ones that spend any significant time around her and don't at least accidentally call her Mom are her brothers, Dad, their boyfriend and maybe her patients."
That got Fuyumi's attention. "Wait back up, their boyfriend?"
Dabi closed his eyes and let his head fall back to rest on the couch. "Yeah that one is a recent change. Mom and Dad are in some sort of polyamorous relationship with Uncle Shouta's detective roommate apparently. We have only known about it for a couple of days but given that he hasn't been sleeping at his own place for a few weeks now, it has probably been going on for longer."
Shoto hummed in agreement. "Hitoshi suspected something might have been up after the whole forgetting how breathing works thing since he was definitely not spending his enforced time off at their place and we hadn't seen him at the bar."
"Bar?"
Dabi cracked an eye open to look over at Natsuo. "One of my new younger brother's, Tomura, co-owns it with our friend Kurogiri. We live out of the place above it. Most of us anyways. Mom and Dad have another place that is or at least was just theirs since up until Eri healed him, Dad was on life support so was sort of trapped in only a small area. Kurogiri has a warp Quirk so it is not like it is a big deal how far apart geographically they are technically living. I think our living arrangements are probably going to get shuffled around before the next school year though to make things easier for Izuku to go to UA."
"Izuku is another younger brother? Uh, how many siblings did you replace us with?" Natsuo's laugh that followed sound forced even to Shoto who knew he was not very good with picking up on that sort of thing.
"Yeah but I wouldn't say replaced more added to. Plus I feel I should point out that the only one I picked myself was Himiko, the rest just sort of happened…"
As Dabi started to recount the oddity that was their family, Shoto felt himself sinking into the comfortable sound of his voice. This was… nice. Sure, Fuyumi and Natsuo seemed more then a little on the fence about Dabi's changes from what they likely remember of him, but.. It was nice having all his old siblings back together again.
---MiM-MiM-MiM---
Just a little under 4 and a half months left until the recommendations exam, another two weeks on top of that for the standard entrance exam and then one last month and then they would all be UA. Katsuki could hold out that long. He was no pushover. It wasn't like anyone at Aldera treated him like the Nerd had been treated.
That didn't change the fact he was lonely. His meeting up with Glasses and Eyebags after school everyday had expanded slightly to include Shitty Hair now. After a couple hours doing their various homework assignments and petting cats, they would then go and meet up with the Nerd and Icyhot at the beach Shitty Hair was cleaning. All Might had yet to show while they were around but apparently Shitty Hair was still talking with him.
Honestly the thing that pissed Katsuki off the most about the soon to officially retire hero was the fact that, despite the man's Quirk being transferable, instead of even considering the poor Quirkless kid that had asked if he could be a hero as a possible future holder of One for All, he had decided to give it to someone with a Quirk already.
And now it seemed like the man was uncertain about passing the Quirk on to even Shitty Hair. It was probably the revelation that not only was Uncle Hisashi alive but he was clearly doing better than All Might.
It was all fucking stupid.
---MiM-MiM-MiM---
Izuku hummed to himself as he packed. After they had so completely settled into their current living arrangements, his Dad had brought up the fact that it was silly that they were holding the old apartment still. It would have been one thing if they could have all fit in it but it was far too small with their expanded family. Admittedly the current arrangements were less than perfect since, frankly it would probably be better if there were not so many minors living above a bar frequented by Villains. So Dad bought a house not far from UA. Or, well, a mansion really.
The place had 10 bedrooms that his Dad justified as needed in case the whole family wanted to stay the night over. While Tomura, Kurogiri and Dabi would still largely be living over the bar, Dad had wanted to make sure that there was space for them if they needed it.
Kurogiri had warped away his old All Might collection that he had packed away months ago to the storage room in the Nighteye Agency that Uncle Mirai had packed all his away into before they had really started. His Uncles Shouta and Hizashi as well as Hitoshi were helping him and Mom pack with Kurogiri ferrying boxes while Naomasa was with Dad, Himiko, and Eri at the new place unpacking. Dabi and Tomura were technically helping too, with Dabi sprawled out on the couch in the new living room, and Tomura on the one in the old. They were on trash disposal Dabi burning and Tomura Decaying anything that was requested of them as they wirelessly played a fighting game together.
Izuku was carefully rolling his posters for transport when Hizashi stuck his head in the room. "Need any help in here, Little Listener? We are nearly done with the kitchen and living room so I can send Toshi your way to help."
Izuku looked around the only half packed room. "Yeah, that would probably be a good idea."
Hizashi grinned and was about to leave when he seemed to spot Izuku's desk and gave a small, thankfully unQuirked, squeal of delight. "You kept the radio I got you! And have a Mini Mic!"
Izuku felt his face heat up slightly. "I mean yeah, you've basically always been one of my favorites, of course I have some of your merch. Besides, it is not exactly like I can collect merch of my two other Hero Uncles."
Izuku found himself suddenly wrapped up in a tight tear filled hug. "Why do you have to be so sweet! You're the best nephew a guy could ask for!"
Izuku laughed and hugged the man back. "Don't let Tomura hear, he might get his feelings hurt."
From the other room, Tomura's voice perked up. "Nah, I'm good. If it was Dabi we would be having issues."
Shouta stuck his head into the room with a puzzled look. "Ah so that is what this is all about. Zashi, you can hug Izuku later, he needs to finish up in here."
Hizashi frowned but released him before quickly ruffling his hair with a smile and wandering back out. Hitoshi drifted in a few minutes later with another empty box. "Where do you want me?"
Izuku pointed behind himself at the bookshelf as he began to carefully wrap each of his figurines in tissue paper to box them. Hitoshi had barely started when he stopped. "Hero Analysis for the Future, number 13… wait, aren't these some of Kats' drawings?"
Izuku looked back at his cousin as he looked at the notebook in a bit of confusion. "Oh, that is half a transcription. The original got destroyed the day I met All Might for the first time by the Slime Villain so I had to copy everything over into a new notebook. Kacchan decided to help since we were trapped in the hospital at the time and he is the better artist."
Hitoshi snapped it closed. "You aren't bad at art, Kats just has ridiculously high standards."
"I mean I know I am good at technical drawings but Kacchan is better at people."
"Fair I guess." As he gently placed the notebook in box alongside his other books, Izuku couldn't help but think back over how everything had changed since he had started the first version of that notebook.
Izuku knew now that he had what it would take to be a Hero. That he probably would have been just fine as a Quirkless one too. It didn't matter if there were those out there who didn't believe in him thanks to a quirk of genetics. He would become a Hero. Just watch.
