Jefferson had suspected his beloved woman would suddenly flee from him out of guilt. If only he had regained consciousness sooner, he could have prevented her from running away due to her foolish mindset. After letting Larissa leave him, he now wanted to talk to Raul about the other issues that had arisen while he was unconscious.
He felt like pulling out the IV line from his left hand. He was so fed up with being unable to do anything due to the blood loss. He had no choice but to wait for Raul to visit him. Tears continued to stream down his cheeks, his eyes blankly focused on the bedroom window, which showed the sunlight still shining into the room. He silently hoped that his woman was still safe during her adventure out there.
Hearing the sound of someone's footsteps entering the room, he immediately turned his head, enthusiastically welcoming the arrival of his trusted assistant.
