Ana's POV
"What do you mean?" I asked, staring at Morris with complete confusion.
Morris shifted closer, his eyes fixed on my face with that dangerous intensity. Those signature flirtatious eyes of his were absolutely lethal when he looked at me like that.
"Ana, you used to be such a good girl. Now you're bold enough to hit the clubs?" he said with that teasing tone.
Here we go again, I thought to myself.
Something about the way Morris spoke always triggered this strange reaction in me that I couldn't quite name.
When those words rolled off his tongue, they seemed coated in pure seduction.
Combined with Morris's velvet voice and devastating good looks, it never felt cheap or sleazy.
"How would you know I've never been to a club before?" I fired back, desperately trying to squash the weird butterflies dancing in my stomach.
Truth was, I rarely went to clubs. Back before Aileen returned to the Watson family, I'd been the definition of a good girl.
